Discussing solar options with NC Solar Now (representative Antonio Bautista) was time well-spent. Antonio was quick to set the zoom call, flexible with our schedule and willing and able to answer all our questions. We have not yet installed the panels so I cannot speak for the rest, but the overall experience at this early stage was very good.

If you are the owner of a business, and you are answering the phone, responding back to customers, and giving great customer service, you bet your company is successful! We met, either personally or by phone/Zoom with 2 other companies. By then we had a ballpark figure for a system our size. The first company we met with personally, and by the end of the presentation my wife told this Rep he sounded and acted like a time share salesman.

We still don't have a written proposal, but they have sent two contracts to sign with no details. The second company was Ok, no issues, just not as responsive as Jennifer. We thought we wanted a ground array until we saw the size of the array! Jennifer tweaked the designs until we had what we needed on the roof. price increased a bit with the bigger 400W panels but not too much and my bride is very happy now. In the end, we both feel, Jennifer made all the difference. Jennifer has set a high bar, here's hoping the install/operational arms of the company can keep up with her.

I first contacted NC Solar Now on 1/3 and by 3/16 my house already had solar panels installed. Throughout the entire process (consult, permits, HOA, installation etc.) they were prompt, clear, polite and incredibly professional. I was kept up to date about where I was in the process, who my contact was and what I should expect next. Even when we had a very minor issue on the day of install, we knew exactly who to contact, and that person emailed us within minutes and resolved it quickly. Truthfully, I have never worked with a business that was as professional as NC Solar Now and now I can just sit back and enjoy the work of my solar panels!

After interviewing with a few different companies and meeting with Greg, we decided on NCSolar Now for our system and battery back up and are so glad that we did. We were so satisfied and comfortable with them that we also utilized them on a commercial project during the same period. They stayed with me through the construction of the location for the array and also stayed patient through all of the design changes on the commercial project.

Never once did we feel pressure and I felt comfortable with all of the employees at all times. Great bunch of people that you can trust at your home. As a side note for the Karen that left a bad review over an employee not wearing a mask at a service station.get a life and save the insults for someone sitting at home and not working and leave the few good working people alone. Just stay with your flock and wait your next instructions on how to live your life.

NC Solar Now has been a fantastic company to work with in our journey to becoming solar and environmentally friendly. They are timely with their communication and the process from start to finish was smooth. The panels work great and the ease of the app to check how it's all working is nice. It was simple to have them coordinate with our electric co-op as well. I would highly recommend this company if you are looking to make the leap! You won't regret it.

I recently had some solar panels installed by this company. The individuals I encountered were all very friendly, including the installers. The problem I have, however, is with the length of time it took to complete the job. I was told the process would take 2 months total from start (coming out and measuring) to finish (having everything installed and ready to turn on).

When the installers came to install my panels, they said their paperwork showed my breaker panel being located differently which added almost a month more to the process because now we had to wait for parts to come in and be installed so the job was up to code. NC SolarNow also connected me with a company to have radiant barrier installed in my attic and did not communicate all the wants I had expressed for this job to the secondary company.

It has now been 3 1/2 months and am still waiting for the job to be finalized. I would recommend purchasing solar panels. I would even recommend this company. I would, however, warn anyone to stay on top of them to be sure everything is being written properly so you (the consumer) get what you were told and quoted.

Previous experience with solar panels was positive. My old system on Cape Cod served me well. After getting re-settled in Newport NC it was time to take advantage of a roof that was screaming for SOLAR. NC SOLAR NOW had good reviews and I made the call. Greg Olenar was professional, courteous, answered my questions, and walked me through what he could do to make it all happen. Painlessly and without delay.

A plan was devised, details were addressed, pricing and time lines were drawn, and soon there was a capable crew doing the install and hook up. Solar was powering my all electric house and pushing my electric meter backwards for future credit. Life was good. I had a gas generator which was a blessing after Florence tore up the grid for almost 3 weeks.

News of advanced and quiet battery back up systems got me thinking and I made another call to Greg. He filled in all the blanks and got the battery backup ball rolling. Simply AMAZING! The Tesla batteries and control system dovetailed with the existing solar panels and I now have batteries at the ready, seamless quiet backup, an electric meter that goes backwards on sunny days for future credit, and a company that stands behind their product and renders service in a timely manner.

When grid power goes out, my only clue is the drone of my neighbor's generators. Quiet as a church on Tuesday, my NC SOLAR NOW system provides flicker-free backup and peace of mind in these uncertain times. My typical electric bill is $16.32 and I am unaffected by outages and rate increases. I've had several inverter problems that were quickly corrected and it's good to know that help is just a phone call away.

To help me better cope with my insecurities, they even wired my system with a generator disconnect switch and hook up to make my Honda backup feel wanted. NO worries and NO regrets. that's my story and I'm sticking to it.!

Lowest price in town, and same materials from others. They were honest with me from the beginning, not like others who try to rip you off. The project went as we agreed on. I will recommend this company for all your solar needs.

Can't say enough about the install NC Solar did for me. I have actually had mine for about 2.5 years now and they have been fantastic! Jesse Soloman hooked us up with some of the Panasonic 325's. At the time some of the best spec'd panels out there. And the pricing was right in line with other companies I talked with, but for better panels. No high pressure to sign now! like some firms.

And I work in real estate sales so I get it. The install took a about a day and a half. I've been on my roof a few times since then and they are on there rock solid. 14.5kWh system with the Solar Edge inverters. Install crew was very professional and did a very nice clean setup. In fact when I had them back recently for batteries they cleaned up the install from last time even more. Removed a redundant power line, and ran that line inside the basement wall.

They didn't have to go in the basement for the original install so that's why it was outside the first time. I had a communication error on one of the two invertors a year ago and they just went ahead and replaced it. Nothing to do on my end. Monitoring through the Solar Edge app has been pretty good. Get all the information that I could want as well.

I'm doing a new deck and had them quote for some additional panels on it once it's done. Wouldn't use anyone else. I was going to do a separate review on my new Tesla batteries but apparently you can only do one review per company. So I'll add it here. Just installed last week and they are the bomb! Great install as with the panels. The batteries themselves look awesome, they are tesla so you would expect that.

As mentioned above they cleaned up some conduit from the panel install. But I'll have to do some decorative fencing eventually. But everything is working great from the moment they finished. They tested it and you couldn't even see the light flicker when it switched over. Mine was also 27kWh so it is whole home capable. Jesse got me set up as before and Steven and the install crew did a great job. Thanks again NC Solar!

One word to describe NC Solar Now? FANTASTIC! The entire process of installing our 10kw solar system was handled from start to finish with attention to every detail. These guys KNOW solar and all employees we worked with during the project were knowledgeable, professional and friendly! They went out of their way to keep us informed along the way and patiently answer our many questions. With the system now in and producing we are loving our low energy bills. I've owned an electric vehicle for a few years now and the interest into renewable energy has grown. I've wanted solar for some time and reached out to NC SOLAR NOW to inquire about installation. I was sold on the fact that I would get back $6000 from Duke Energy along with a %30 tax credit. Turns out he demand is far exceeding the available funds. I just found out today that my $6000 rebate isn't coming, now I am hoping my tax credit pans out. My monthly payment for the cost of the Solar Panels is still $10 less than last year's average power bill. I'm in my 3rd month of $16 (Duke minimum) electric bill.

Had our solar panels installed today by NCSolar Now. Stephen, Blake, and Aaron were awesome. Clearly very skilled, and really nice guys. On time and professional; very respectful of our home. From the day that NC Solar Now first came over to talk to us about solar energy, through the engineering, design, permits, working with the power company, etc it's been an extremely easy and pleasurable experience. I was extremely pleased with my service with NC Solar Now. The process was so easy and is working as promised. My first power bill after installation of the PV panels was a credit. I also had pool heating installed and that has made the pool so comfortable that no one hesitates to jump in. The thermostat ensures a steady temperature of the water at 90 degrees.

NC Solar Now did our initial installation of 17 solar panels and we have been most pleased with their outstanding service. They were quick and efficient and helped us made sure our interconnects were up and running to ensure credit for our kilowatt production. A hail storm in May 2016 caused damage to our roof shingles and it was necessary for them to return, take down and later reinstall our solar panels.

They were great to accommodate the date of our roofing job by taking down the solar panels just prior to the roofing job and reinstalling them shortly after the roofing job was done. Very professional people. Great work and support. Chris and Luke paid attention to every details for the project. Love the monitoring system, Enlighten, for minute by minute production report. My peak production is as expected and claimed by the panel manufacturers. Higher temperature reduces the electricity production and that is something the industry needs to work on.

I had my solar panels installed about three months ago, and from start to finish the process was easy, and the system exceeded my expectations! I talked to a few other companies, but what I liked best about NC Solar was that the entire operation was turn-key. They measured the roof, brought the panels and brackets necessary, installed the system, did the electrical work and dealt with permits and my power company- I didn't have to do or pay anything after the sale!

The price was straight-forward with no hidden fees or additional costs. Patrick was my sales person and he was very patient and knowledgable. Electrical work is definitely not my mental forte, but he made everything easy to understand and was even great with my dog. We were so pleased with the work NC Solar did several years ago. And it paid extra dividends, for when we sold our house, the solar panels added to the value and made it easier to sell the house. Hello! I am writing this review on behalf of West Raleigh Presbyterian Church, as we recently went solar with NC Solar Now. As a church, we have an abiding interest in caring for God's creation. As an Earth Care Congregation, we made a conscious decision to pursue solar in order to reduce our energy consumption and our carbon footprint.

My experience with NC Solar Now was AAA+ from the first meeting with Patrick (one of the sales reps) to the installation. Nolan and his crew did a fantastic install and handle everything in a very timely and professional manner.

I did a ton of research on the companies available here North Carolina before choosing one because of price and customer satisfaction and what time frame they could come out and take care of things and generally solar panels cost about the same but I chose this company because they were the only ones who could come out in a timely manner and they were slightly cheaper and all their stuff was warrantied the system is 100% upgradeable in the future it's not going to be obsolete in a few years I got to customize what system I got and they have an app that allows me to monitor the panels and be alerted if an issue arises with one of the panels they worked really fast they came out at 9 a.m. Thursday and left by 2pm everyone that I've met has been super polite the customer service is amazing and they did not try to sell me the most expensive system they literally just gave me what I needed and they made it so my loan payments cost about the same amount as what I pay currently to Duke power so now I just pay them instead of Duke power literally the only complaint I have is that Duke Energy sucks the solar company mostly dealt with their shenanigans but the one time that me and Josh had to deal with Duke Energy during this project it was absolute hell and even now I have to wait for them to come out and install my new meter before I get to use my system and the Solar place says it normally takes them about 2 weeks to come out and do it but I can't say enough nice things about NC Solar now. if you're debating on a company this is definitely the one the first company I went with tried to sell me a huge system that was way more than I needed either way this place is fantastic

NC Solar Now performed four major tasks on our 20-year-old house including reflective insulation in the attic, new energy efficient shingles for the roof, new solar water heater for the swimming pool, and a gang of new PV electric panels for an east facing roof exposure.

I have to tell you that the installation of the radiant barrier to my attic access area walls and floor to the main attic floor and bonus room office floor went off flawlessly. The installation of the attic solar fan to the rear of my home with the solar panel facing south went off without a hitch. Interestingly, I am writing this letter the day after Earth Day.
