Received a diagnostic and inspection. Technician was excellent in all respects. Professional, courteous, and human. Not only diagnosed issues with HVAC system while ensuring entirety of diagnostic was complete and detailed, but provided information, knowledge, and valuable tips to maintaining and seeking out service for unit(s). Wish I would have dealt with Frosty's from the start of owning my home.

If you need help with your heating or air conditioning look no further than Frosty's! I have been a Frosty's customer for four years. Their customer service is outstanding and they are always looking for ways to help you save money. Their technicians are knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. I just had a new AC system installed at a very reasonable price. The technicians/installers, Paul and Dillon were on time and got the job done faster than expected and everything was completed at the price I was quoted!

Tyler was very knowledgeable and helped to educate me on my existing hvac system. Knowing that the system may need to be replaced soon, he walked me through all my options including necessary repairs to the existing system and provided quotes. He was very professional and courteous through the home visit and I cannot recommend Frosty's enough to others because of my great experience. If you're in the DC metro area, give them a look for hvac service and repair.

I have used Frosty's for almost 20 years. Staff members have always been helpful and friendly. This week, Pat did a high quality job with my spring maintenance, finding some wires connected to the heater that had been recalled and removing them as well as cleaning up after himself. I would recommend Frosty's to anyone looking for a high quality HVAC firm.

Top notch service. I was fortunate to be serviced by the owner of the company for my emergency Saturday no heat call! Thankfully Frosty's got me set up with heat for my cold home when my AHS Warranty company couldn't service me until that Monday. The problem was assessed quickly, without any hidden charges or unnecessary charges that I didn't need.which often happens with the contractors provided by the warranty companies.they seem to make the job larger/more expensive than needed. Frosty was timely.honest.and offered exceptional friendly service! Frosty also followed up days after to make sure all was working properly and even spoke to the warranty company tech to let him know exactly what was done and what was remaining.

Todd performed an emergency repair on our HVAC unit today. He was extremely professional and performed the necessary repair in a quick and quality manner. He listened to my description of the problem, and patiently explained his approach to fixing it, and how long it would take. He did a superb job. We use Frosty's for our HVAC maintenance agreement because of people like Todd on their professional staff.

Todd and Andrew went above and beyond to clean and fix my two ductless mini split units! They arrived on time, were extremely polite, answered all my questions so thoroughly, and left everything pristine. They even scheduled their arrival to work with my baby's nap time! Todd and Andrew were so kind and even took a look at my roof when the leaking turned out to not be from the unit and recommended a contractor. I will absolutely use Frosty's for any future mini split issues and for general maintenance and I will definitely request Todd and Andrew specifically!

Frosty's was amazing! I cannot recommend them enough. We were without heat (in January) and as first time home owners, they took care of everything in less than 24 hours. I was very pleased with the service I received from Todd Krems with Frosty's Heating and Cooling, Inc. Todd was on time for our appointment, he was professional, and he was expedient in his work. He was also very patient with my questions, and very helpful in informing me of the work he was doing, as well as the option I had for going forward. I felt informed, but in no way pressured. We've had an outstanding experience with Frosty's since we bought our home a year ago. They came recommended by the previous owners and have provided semi-annual maintenance on our two HVAC systems. We opted to replace one of the systems this year, which was reaching the end of its service life, and Frosty's provided a range of options to choose from. Scheduling was quick, the team arrived on time, completed the work in a day, was careful to keep the work and transit areas clean and provided instruction on the features of the new unit. We couldn't be happier and plan to continue to use them!

Do yourself a favor and call these guys. We had what appeared to be a nearly impossible (without smashing out a wall or disassembling our entire HVAC system) hot water heater replacement job. The techs who came out were extremely professional and were able to miraculously remove the old tank and install the new one without having to remove the HVAC or smashing through walls.
We had other companies come out and tell us they either wouldn't do it, couldn't do it, or they would for 3x the price and without any sort of assurances that it would be successful. They were professional, quick, efficient, and extremely resourceful. Will call them again in the future if we have another issue down the line.

Frosty's technicians are the best in the DMV. Stephanie is amazing to work with and makes the whole experience a breeze. Todd, Larry, and Brandon make repairs and large replacements easy and efficient. They're always dependable for quick service and quality work. Lastly, Mary is a delight that is both a wealth of knowledge and always willing to help where she can. Great company!

We called Frosty's after calling another company that told us we needed to have our unit cleaned. After that service, the A/C still wasn't cooling well. I told the Frosty's agent when I made the appointment that I only wanted a diagnosis of the problem and the agent said it would cost $129.95. I agreed and scheduled. The tech showed up early and my husband, who's on an oxygen supply, told him he had to get his husband (me) who's upstairs.
The tech said "Well how long is that gonna take, I have other calls." Then, when he came inside after looking at the outside unit he started explaining to me what he was finding and wouldn't let me ask any questions. He continued to interrupt my questions when I tried. When I told him I didn't understand, he said, "Well I can't dumb it down any more than I just explained." He said next time call someone else and then said we owe $300 for the work he did!
I said I was very clear that I just wanted a diagnosis and he said, "Well you saw me working out there." I told him again that I just wanted a diagnosis and he said that I was refusing to pay and he'd charge the $129 and next time to call someone else. We will! I checked the "yes" box on their reliability because he showed up on time, but I can't speak to any other reliability.
I don't know if the tech was reacting to our rainbow flag and my husband's reference to his husband but, in any event, telling someone on oxygen to "hurry" is just offensive. His attitude from the start was poor, and only got worse. Follow up: On Friday, I called the company to complain and was told someone would call me back on Monday. Today is Tuesday and no one has cared enough to call back. Really poor service both from the tech, and management.

My 20+ year old heating/AC unit was damaged by a lightning strike. I chose Frosty's because they have a regular presence in Fairlington and doing work on these very old homes can be challenging. I am 100% satisfied (thrilled) with every phase of the work, from initial problem diagnosis to discussing replacement options to the actual work of replacing the unit.
The 2 gentlemen (Tyler and Paul) doing the replacement work were the most courteous, professional and personable people I have had the pleasure to deal with. What grueling work in this heat. The final installation was fantastic - gained 1/2 of my attic floor back and the system works great. I'd recommend Frosty's without hesitation. The new AC unit was installed within 48 hours of my first call - thank you - it is (was) hot!

Friendly and professional with clear explanations of what was done and what might be needed with absolutely no upsell. Where someone else (and some other companies in fact have) might have pushed additional services, Todd made rational recommendations and suggestions for easy ways to keep the units running. He even fixed a couple of small items he could have charged for under the normal maintenance. Half of the owners in my complex use Frosty's for routine and larger maintenance and we all happily continue to recommend them to others.
