Chain Link
Report
Chain link fences are weather resistant and aren't susceptible to the harsh elements of the weather and outdoors like other types of fences. Some Dallas residents choose the chainlink fence because it is affordable and longlasting. Although it provides little to no privacy the chain link is much more affordable than wood and wrought iron fencing options and last much longer.

We have had a very uncomfortable relationship with Robitzsch Fencing, in particular Kris, for the last two and one half years. It started when we asked them to replace an existing gate and opener that was not working correctly. We discussed the solution and went with a new heavy-duty opener and a lighter weight gate (12 foot). As it turned out the gate was not operating properly as the wind would cause it to be pushed past its' comfortable operating limits. Kris came out quite a few times to trouble shoot the issues because we had a more than powerful opener (Liftmaster 500).
After 7- or 8-months' time he told us that all of our warrantee was used up. This caused a concern because the problem was not resolved. He suggested that we cut the gate in half and add another operator (we were trusting and ignorant of the mechanics of the situation) and went for the proposed solution which had an additional price tag of double their original fix that would make all things right (we are now into it for around 10K).
The installment of the additional operator (another Liftmaster 500) and the two gate as opposed to one was a rough one and as they were about to rap it up the woof that was installed on the new gate was dragging on the concrete. I had to ask him to cut it off - now I am getting a clue that there might be a problem. The installation of the gate was two fold for us: 1 to provide a little privacy to our back property; 2 to be a barrier for our dogs (2 beagles in particular).
As the fencing was cut to high, the beagles were able to escape. At this point I could have called Kris back to fix it but decided to put a sweep on the bottom. We operated problem free for over a year when the newer gate and opener begain to show some sluggishness. When we call Kris he suggested it was batteries. When he came out a couple of weeks later, he said it wasn't the batteries.
At this point in our relationship, he became very defensive and was blaming all the issues on things other than his fault. We had to get a new arm motor (which was covered by warrantee) and when he got that to us and installed after a couple of weeks it quite working. He came out after another couple of weeks and informed us that the was a bracket that the weld tore away for the fence that was securing the opener and that was not the installers fault either according to him.
He charged us for everything that he came back to fix. I am sure that a single situation that does not require any real thought or planning, Robitzsch Fencing should be able to handle it but customer service, follow up, and all thing that distinguish a good company from a poor one, they should not be considered.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness Ghosted me for two weeks. When they finally got the job done, there was trash and screws all over my lawn which my lawn mower absolutely loved eating screws . Two of the posts are already started to fall over which I had to have redone by professionals.

This company is amazing. Not sure why Shawn Warden had to be so offensive in his review. Everyone makes mistakes and no company is perfect. Chris is extremely responsive, careful and considerate of his customers. Shawn Warden sounds like an entitled person who always has a problem with something. I'm writing this review because I've worked directly with Chris and he is an amazing person.
I've worked with others (such as DFW Fence Company) and Chris gave us a MUCH better experience. If you look at my history of reviews, you will see I only post on businesses that actually deserve a review (good or bad, but I never call anyone a "truly worthless individual").

Awful company. Overcharged and clean up was a disaster. Left screws and nails throughout work area and excessive amounts of trash. Over sprayed AC unit and brick of house with black spray paint when touching up iron fence. I actually had to take them to court for the shoddy work and craftmanship. a 1000 fence companies in Dallas - you can definitely do way better that this joke of company. Thanks Chris, for being a truly worthless individual.

Excellent job and great crew. Very friendly and personable. They did a marvelous job installing fencing around almost my entire house as well as installing a motorized gate across the driveway. They worked very quickly and I was amazed at how fast the fence went up and still looked great. When one of the boards split (due to a defect in the wood) right after the installation was completed, I had no problem getting them to come back and replace it. I would, and have, recommended them to others.

Robitzsch Fence far exceeded our expectations, and then some. The fence that was in when we bought our house slowly fell apart over the course of a year, and finally came crashing down one windy night. Having 2 large dogs, we were calling companies frantically trying to find someone who we could not only afford, but would do a good job.

I asked for several bids from various fence contractors and Robitzsch Fencing was the first to get back with me. I spoke with several contractors about bids for the job. Robitzsch was not the cheapest, but they were the best at communication. The team was professional, efficient, and did quality work.

We went with another fence company at first and they built the entire thing the wrong way. We called Robitzsch Fencing and Kris came out to take a look at it. He came up with a great solution and fixed the situation. We have the most beautiful fence in our neighborhood and we owe it all to Robitzsch Fencing.

I wanted to comment on the custom wrought iron gate and security fence Robitzsch Fencing just completed at my house. This was a difficult gate and fence request that Kris and his team fabricated for me and it is fantastic. Could not be happier. They arrived on time as scheduled and completed the work on time even though I made several changes to the original specifications.

Been Dealing with Robitzsch Fencing for many years and we love them. And here is another example why! I am the president of of an association out at the Addison Airport where we have high security as you can imagine with our gates allowing only people to access the airport with the correct security credentials.30 minutes ago one of our gates stuck open, I immediately called Robitzsch and Chris one of their technicians quickly asked if I had a iPhone and then we faced timed with me showing him what was going on within 2 minutes Chris successfully troubled shouted my airport security gate issue and we were back in business.this is why wee love Robitzsch Fencing.

Initial installation went well but panels rusted out. Despite fencing supplier validating rust issues and supplying replacement panels. Robitzsch has refused to remove and replace rusted panels. even after I agreed to cover labor cost. Very Disappointing. Update March 2017. panels have replaced. Additional panels are showing signs of rust but not enough for replacement yet.
Manufacturer has changed process to improve according to contractor. Upgrading review to 3 stars. Update April 2017. Kris contacted the manufacturer and requested all panels be replaced. Manufacturer has agreed. Upgrading review to 4 stars. Will go to 5 stars if/when process is completed.5-9-17 UPDATE. Kris went the extra mile and got all the remaining panels replaced as well. Great Job.

I needed a custom trellis/vine arbor built in my backyard. From the moment I called Robitzsch Fencing, they gave me great service in a timely manner and were very straightforward with everything. The owner himself answered the phone and told me they could probably do what I needed and gave me a rough estimate over the phone. No other company even got back to me until days later. Their quality of service and response was awesome, prices competitive, and overall really nice people to work with. I am very happy with my trellis! Thanks guys!

We didn't know exactly how we were going to fence off our commercial property and Kris came out to meet with us to take a look at the property with us. After only 30 minutes he had an efficient proposal so we pulled the trigger with them. The Robitzsch crew showed up the day they told us they would and were finished within 3 days. Were so happy we decided to go with them and would recommend them to any and everybody that needed a quality fence at a reasonable price.
