Blue Planet Drains & Plumbing

Bought new water heater and was installed incorrectly in 2015. Between 2015-2017, I had to call them to fix it. In 2017, they finally replace it. When that one breaks down, I no longer qualify for the warranty because they went by the 2015 date not the 2017 date. Getting punished for the technician who didn't do the job right the first time ( their words not mine). Not only that, technician asked me to help him carry the old water heater and the new one which I just found out is not legal. Clown company!

Had an issue with a toilet backing up at a rental property on a holiday and was so thankful that Mike responded to my frantic phone call! Although he was on a current call he advised how soon he might be done and we made plans for him to be a backup while I was awaiting a response from the home warranty company. I hadn't heard back from the warranty company when Mike and I reconnected so he headed over right away.

He explained what he was going to do and sent over images with a diagnoses within the hour. The diagnoses and repair were quick and very reasonable. His prompt response & actions have now secured Blue Planet for my future plumbing needs. Spoke to Blue Planet's front office the next day to make the payment. Advised them that Mike could have easily declined my call and went home to enjoy the rest of his holiday. However, he came through and saved me out-of-pocket costs to put up the tenants in a hotel while waiting for the home warranty company to respond.

Not only will I use Mike/Blue Planet for my future plumbing needs but also highly recommend them for yours. Pros: Prompt response, communicative, professional, efficient Cons: None!

We had a gas smell coming from the laundry room of the new house. SDG&E came out ad "red tagged" it so then we had no hot water, no ability to cook on the stove, and no heat, since all those appliances run on GAS! We called a few other companies before being referred to Blue Planet. The first company quoted $8,000 to replace the entire gas pipe system of the house.

The second company quoted $6,500 to partially replace the gas pipes in the laundry area only. BLUE PLANET came out within 1 hour of my call, located the gas leak to be a simple loose fitting. They were able to repair the fitting, and handle the permit, and SDG&E gas reinstatement for $1,100 TOTAL! BLUE PLANET is Honest, Reliable, and Fairly priced. I would HIGHLT RECOMMEND to use Blue Planet for all your plumbing needs. They will take good care of you, just like they did with me.

This company is wonderful and we have used them for our home and rental units at different places in the county. Yukio was not only professional but he was responsive as soon as I needed him! AMAZING! Abraham was the SUPERB 5 STAR technician Blue Planet sent out for us. He was able to clear our drain pipe where three other plumbing companies were not able to do so. The other companies adamantly stated that we had a collapsed pipe and they would have to jack hammer up slabs at an estimated cost of TWENTY thousand dollars! Not only was Abraham incredibly efficient and accurate with cost (only $218.00) he was so friendly! I HIGHLY recommend Blue Planet Plumbing and definitely recommend the technician Abraham!

Had a water heater go out at night call yhe next morning and had it replaced with a great tankless for I think a fair price. Technician was helpful and did a great job.

I was extremely happy with my service. I had a leak under my sink and the plumber found something lodged in the u shaped pipe directly under the sink. He could've easily gotten away with charging me for using the snake which would have been almost double the price but he was honest and told me it wasn't necessary. The job was done quickly and efficiently. I've found my plumbers.

Blue Planet had same day availability. They called me to let me know that the technician was on his way. Anthony showed up and did an excellent job at unclogging my main line. Nothing in the house could be used so it was very frustrating for a while. Anthony cleared it up and had sink, showers and toilets working again. Also, they did not charge more than they had to. Good service and response time. Way too expensive. This company charged $550 for a job that was done in 20 minutes and the cost of supplies/material was less than $50.

Cast iron sewer line and laterals in my 1959 San Diego house were shot. After getting bids from multiple companies to hydrojet then line the existing sewer lines, I called Blue Planet for a bid to pipe burst the existing lines and replace. I'm happy I decided to go with Blue Planet. Project lead Mike was great to work with and he and his assistant Yosio are incredibly hard workers.

They had a great attitude, listened carefully, and also worked smoothly with the city inspector when he came to sign off on their work. At a fair price, Blue Planet replaced my original 3 inch main line with a brand new 4 inch line, and also replaced all the laterals with new pipe. They also added cleanouts on both ends of the sewer line and poured new concrete where they had to trench.

After seeing the condition of the old pipes, I'm really glad I went with Blue Planet's pipe bursting approach rather than epoxy lining-which would have just put a veneer inside very bad pipes. Keep in mind that the pipe-bursting process is messy because you will have to dig holes on both ends of your sewer line run and anywhere you need to replace laterals.

But when the work is done it's worth the temporary mess because it's a permanent solution that gives you brand new sewer lines no matter how old your house-so reassuring to know that my wastewater problems are solved for good. Would definitely recommend Blue Planet for your sewer line repairs!

We had a water pressure regulator unexpectedly fail last night in our garage, luckily we were able to shut the water off before any flooding occurred! We called and scheduled a service with Blue Planet and they were able to fit us in immediately! Miguel was friendly, professional and had the right tools/parts to get our water flowing again! After the repair was completed he pressure checked our system to ensure proper operation and took the time to answer questions. Thank you for the prompt response, great service and fair price!

I was using another plumber for my rental properties in Eastlake and always had a heck of a time getting them out for the appointment, plus they acted like I was bothering them. How delighted I was to find Blue Planet Plumbing. They are very responsive, they do a good job, their people are nice and they actually appreciate my business.

I called them yesterday (3/15/2016), scheduled to came in today between 8-10 am. A big guy, named Sean, came and started working right away. Very fast and efficient. I loved his little bag of tricks.

Called and they send Manny out 40 mins. Later. He was friendly and fixed the clogged and leaky kitchen sink right away, while explaining the process the whole time. Really awesome guy!

I am very pleased with the service and quality I received from Blue Planet. Marco was the epitome of a professional and took the time to explain everything in detail before starting repairs. I was impressed with the attention to detail and the finishing touches of everything lining up symmetrically and placed with the thoughtfulness and care of an artist at his craft.

Just nice clean-cut guys that seemed to know what they were talking about, very(very) competitive pricing(I checked around) and love that they showed up in a van with a company logo. All is well with my re-piping and grateful that we finally have great water pressure.

I have called them because my sewer line was backing up. The house started to smell rally bad. The girl that answered the phone Alma was really nice all plumbers were out doing jobs she dispatched every single one and got Joe to come and clear the line for me.
