A Hot & Horrible Experience. RCH came on 27 May 2022 to repair my A/C and told me I had a leak and needed freon. The cool temps lasted 5 days and then stopped. It took them over a week to come back out the second time. This visit I was told (as the technician was sprinting out of the house) that my A/C unit is doing all it can do and that the sub level temp was 20 degrees below what it should be(see video and the location of the techs thermometer). All in all the tech beat feet out of my home leaving us with an indoor temp of 82 degrees after there thermostat was set on 67 for over an hour and said this was normal.

My problem was a mis-routed dryer vent pipe and vent cover. In less than 2 1/2 hours the Tec's removed the old vents and redirected the vent to the proper outlet. My thanks to Kyle and Charley for a professional job well done. Service: Repair HVAC

From starting the process of getting a quote working with Ute in the office to having Bobby visit the house to give his thoughts, to working with the installers Ryan, Lee, and Carlos everything was great! I had an old HVAC/duct system that was completely replaced from a 2200 square foot rancher. It was a 5-day process and the team showed up on time every day and completed it in the exact time they said they would. The new system is super quiet and feels like it's pumping out a tornado as compared to the trickle of air from the old one.

I explained to Ricky Hurtt what I was looking for. Then he made it very clear, concise, relaxed presentation of the product he recommended. I compared Daikin to Mitsubishi's Presentation. The products looked alike, had the same warranty, appeared to be alike- With the exception being that the Daikin product was $2600 cheaper. Yay! I always search for the finest value for my money!

So far I absolutely love this unit. Previously I had to cut off the heat pump in the room in order to have a conversation. The airflow is silent and the outdoor unit cannot be heard inside the house if the door is closed. If you open the door to listen to it, it sounds like a small box fan blowing. That is all!

Worked with John at River City and he was really great to work with. He stayed longer than he needed to to try and figure out the problem. When it wasn't that, John kept at it to be sure we would have heat back. And when the part turned out to not be the issue, John went above and beyond to diagnose it and came back a few hours late to fix the issue. River City and John were great to work with!

John was very pleasant, very respectful of my home. John was very thorough in checking my HVAC unit, inside and outside and the thermostat. Although the thermostat was registering, it was giving incorrect readouts. John changed my thermostat and I could immediately feel a difference. Service: Thermostat installation

My husband and I used River City for the first time! Our heat pump needed a check up.we've had it now for about 7 yrs. We found a coupon in a magazine for $59 and they came out to service our unit. The tech's name was Brian, and he did a wonderful job. He cleaned and added some chemicals to our unit and it sounds and looks like a new unit. Thank you Brian for the wonderful job you did! I would definitely recommend River City to my family n friends!

Got my entire HVAC system replaced and River City gave me a quote and ended up getting me a better price than originally quoted! Repair took longer than I had anticipated but they communicated with me the whole time and didn't leave a huge mess behind! Overall I am very satisfied with their work and would recommend them to family and friends!

The company is well managed, provided top notch systems and installation, warranties and financing. They are dependable and nice guys. Technician John was at my home this week to perform semi annual inspections. He was punctual and professional and even volunteered to help me do some lifting that I could not do because of a disability. I trust this team and think you can too to do the right thing at a great price. I highly endorse them.

Technician communicated arrival time and arrived at that time. Straight from the off he was explaining what could be the issue and having listened to our account of what went wrong was able to pinpoint the issue more or less first time. Quick fix to get us cooled air as we wait for the warranty company to confirm replacement of defective parts. Stage one done well!

My satisfaction with your company has lead to my recommending you recently to two friends. I especially like your method of advising your service arrival with the photo and name of the tech. As a senior this has been so helpful and reassuring.

I did not even want to give this company one star. How dare you think that this would be okay to do!?! This company has come out to our home five times at least. Our home owners warranty uses this company. Yesterday the company came out to our home to service our HVAC unit once again the repairman was out to assess why our heat was not working correctly.

It was sweltering upstairs and freezing downstairs. We believe the first time the company came out the repairman must have broken off the lever to the downstairs dumper which controls the air flow downstairs. (My husband and I didn't know there was a lever there) This is the reason why the repairman that came out yesterday used a plastic fork and plastic knife on the dumper to change the air flow from upstairs to downstairs.

By the way, it was freezing last night upstairs, so that was not the issue apparently. The fact that it was okay for you to leave our home after doing this is appalling and unacceptable. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and will call on Monday to the company to make a complaint. Disgusting service! Horrible business! This was not a joke! He used a take out plastic fork and knife on our HVAC unit. I stand by my previous review above however I do appreciate the company coming out and fixing the situation.

The Technician John was flexible to contact me for my needed work time. The office too was cooperative for my needs within service timeframes. John efficiently diagnosed the problem and took immediate action to deal with it. On return he did the replacement repair and checked to make sure the entire system was working properly.

John, professional technician, arrived promptly and quickly diagnosed the problem with my furnace. I could not have asked for a better repair person. He has a gift that I hope is recognized by his company. I will definitely utilize his services if needed in the future. Thank you!

River City did great work and at a good price. I am a new customers and I have nothing but good things to say about River City Heating and Air. They were very friendly on the phone and the tech was right on time and very Knowledgeable.

This company was amazing. They supplied us with portable AC units until our new system came in. The guys that eventually came to install the unit went above and beyond to make sure our unit was working before they left our home.

My experience with this company from beginning to end was awesome! Emily was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The service tech, Ryan that came out was excellent! I was back up and running the same day!

This company came out tuesday when the temperature was a 100+ outside and I can't even begin to tell you how great of a company they were. Their mannerism and professionalism was over the top. They let me know everything that was going on.
