I called Able at 8:45 with a water heater issue. They were very polite and efficient. They called me back in 10 minutes and said Dustin was on his way. I literally had a polite, professional and proficient plumber at my door 15 minutes later! Service: Water heater repair

We called for a potential plumbing leak and got prompt service, with Duston coming out today around noon. The area of affected drywall was on the ceiling, and he carefully inspected the only pipework up above there (fire sprinkler), finding no leak, but identifying a likely source from the roof immediately above around a roof vent. Service was friendly, efficient and very professional throughout. Great job!

Trevor was professional and so was his partner. (Sorry his name escapes me). Both were very friendly. Trevor explained ex and respectful. Trevor explained exactly what the problems were. Most importantly, he took plenty of time to explain all the procedures in detail to me. He successfully completed and double-checked all work in my presence. He was very detailed.

Tanner from Able Plumbing came out and was friendly, professional, timely, and courteous. He got us a quote quickly and was able to be back after one buisness day. He got all the work quoted done and even something extra we requested the day of. Our garage sink drain was completely clogged and he was able to get it cleared and draining. I will definitely use Able Plumbing & Electrical again and if possible we will always request Tanner because of our excellent experience.

I have had trouble with a tankless water heater since it was installed less than a year ago. Several plumbers came out, much was done, but nothing fixed it. Rather than waste any more money on it, we decided to get a tank heater instead. Three (incompetent) plumbing companies and 6 months later, we called ABLE Plumbing and Electrical. The office people were great, we got an appointment right away.

They called the morning of to make sure the time was good for us. Jonathan T arrived on time, listened to our concerns, took a look at the existing unit and discussed our options. We picked the tank water heater. Then discussed how the work was to be done and time frame. He was able to do it the following Monday. Everything was done neatly, cleaned up and the unit works perfectly.

He was pleasant to work with, made us feel confident in his abilities (totally UNLIKE the other two companies we had out). Able Plumbind, and specifically Jonathan T is going to be the first phone call we make when we have a need for plumbing. Highly recommend.

Before I called Abel I called Earls. They charged twice as much, did not replace anything and then argued with me when after 3 flushes it leaked again and refused to repair it. Dustin was thorough and took time investigating each of my 4 plumbing issues. He was able to repair the shower while he was here. The 2 tub drains needed some research for parts. I fully expect to hear from him with these answers. I was very comfortable with Duston's knowledge and his work. The other people at Able that I interacted with were just as friendly and professional.

Had a great experience with Able Plumbing and Electrical. Alex F was our worker who was friendly, communicative, and thorough. We called the. company to replace old galvanized plumbing. in our 1950s home. While he was here he for the major work he. also fixed little things as he found them all round the h ouse. Fixed our garbage disposal, installed a new shower valve, found leaks and fixed them. Amazing. 11 out of 10!

Sometimes you come across a Company that is Committed to Excellence! In my Opinion I found that Company! Able Plumbing & Electrical was a Wonderful Experience! They wouldn't even give me a time window on when they could do the work. Not even a 4 hour window, just a day they would stop by at their leisure. They expect me to be home the entire day for an hour or two worth of work!? Never been treated so terribly by a company and will NEVER use them now. First and last time I try to use this company.

Excellent experience with Trevor as our plumber. He identified the problem, let me know what was working properly and what wasn't. Discussed the options for repair and or replacement, answered all of my questions, showed me the issues, discussed the pricing, showed me faucet options as I did need a new faucet. After replacing all the plumbing, putting in a new faucet, testing everything to make sure it all worked properly, he showed me the new features and cleaned up.

Everything was so neat you didn't even know he had been working in the kitchen. I would highly recommend Able Plumbing and will definitely ask for Trevor the next time I need a plumber.

Had an appointment for Friday. They called to see if they could come early. Took the time to check the layout of the plumbing to see which way was the best to unclog the pipe. Definitely would use again. Service: Drain unblocking

Used Able for a reverse osmosis system install. They did a fantastic job on the initial install and we've had them out a few times to service the solution when replacement filters are needed. Alex is great to work with and goes above and beyond! Service: Tap installation

Very good experience from initial call through final checkout. Jonathan and Christan installed: water filter & conditioner; utility sink; and replaced 4 hose bibs. Everything was done professionally and looks good. Good communication throughout the project, we knew what was being done and when the water would be shut off. Cleaned up afterwards. Recommend.

I made an appointment about three weeks ago. On the date of the appointment (today)which was for 9am I called them at 9:34 concerned that the electrician had not shown up. I was told he was working on a job from the prior day and that he wouldn't be able to be at my appt until after noon sometime and would call before he came. I contacted them again at 2:30p and said I am still waiting and they said they called me but I didn't answer so he went to his next job but will call him to see if he could still come after.

They called back and said they would have to reschedule because I didn't answer my phone, therefore he would not make my appointment. Oh, NO, I am furious! When you make an appointment that means you plan on them showing up on the date/time of the appointment! First THEY pushed my appointment time back. second they knew I would be waiting as I told them that when they didn't show up at the original scheduled time.

So now they want to reschedule? Because I didn't answer my phone? Yes, I will reschedule with another company! Bad business etiquette! I wasted my day off work waiting for them to show up! They need to reevaluate how they handle their business.

On time, attentive, clean and efficient. Trevor explained his assessment of the water heaters failure and recommendations. The installation looks great and Trevor explained the features of the new unit. He answered questions and described potential reasons why the old unit failed. He made a few changes to the plumbing to conform with modern practice. I will call them again.

Trevor from Abel plumbing and electrical arrived as expected and was very thorough explaining and estimating tankless water heater's. He was very professional. Then he went about fixing leaking faucet and rearranged and replaced the irrigation valves. They are now all leak free and much easier to use. I'm very happy with his work and would recommend him to anyone looking for a great plumber

Alex F. arrived on time, and quickly understood our problem. He had us repaired and the water turned back on quickly. We will be calling on Able Plumbing for all of our future needs.

They are fast, reliable and friendly. They know what they're doing and get it done right.

Speedy same day service. From receptionist on the phone throughout our whole 'fix' was pleasant and professional! Trevor K did not leave until all of our plumbing was done and working properly to our expectation and answered every question we had.

Had Office ballast go out this morning. Small job I know and not a money maker for most companies. Called Able and said they could come out an fix it the first week in March! Chico Electric will be here at this afternoon. Service wins!

Found out they did not fix my mother's plumbing, because the were instructed to do otherwise before they even went out to her house. Just charged her for going out there and saying that all kinds of things needed to be done to correct the problem. $333 was just to snake the pipes.whatever. Glad they did nothing.

This is a dishonest company. The repairman intentionally crimped the pilot tube that allows gas to reach the pilot light in an effort to force me to buy a new water heater. I guess because I am a woman they figured I would never be able to figure that out. Do not trust this company. When I tried to speak to the owner I was blocked from doing so. Even with photographs of the crimped line there was no apology or concern over the integrity of their company employees

Dishonest. The repair man intentionally crimped the gas inlet to the water heater trying to make it look like it was non-functional.

Great answering service, getting us connected with a technician within minutes after hours on 2 occasions. Tom V. and his coworker got to the problem and fixed it quickly the first call. 2nd call Jonathon T. was courteous, pleasant, and explained his findings along with giving us repair options, keeping us informed as he worked. Highly recommended.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are totally dishonest and completely ripped me off. They took advantage of the fact that I live out of the area and have a rental house that I am renting to tenants. I had a very very minor problem in the kitchen where the spray nozzle attached to the spray hose in the kitchen sink needed to be replaced, it was leaking.

They charged me $186.00 dollars to replace a $10.00 nozzle, which took only a few minutes of labor to do! All he had to do was screw off the old nozzle, and screw on the new one. Then they had the gall to try to get me to spend over $500 to replace the entire kitchen sink, which didn't even need to be replaced. Thankfully I did not fall for that ploy!

They ripped me off, extremely dishonest business. They also did not detail the labor and parts charges on the receipt, they just wrote the total price down, which I know for a fact is an illegal practice! Again, this company took advantage of me, and the fact that I live out of the area, and couldn't be there in person to monitor what the plumber was doing!

Some time passed and it turns out the wax ring seal on that upstairs toilet didn't hold and we developed a leak that ruined the downstairs ceiling drywall. It was a slow drip. Fortunately, we caught it before any mold set in. We had them back to assess and fix it. Since they were the ones who set the toilet in the first place, I requested a discount but they declined. So, that cost us an extra several hundred bucks (it was several months ago now so I forget how much), not to mention the ceiling repair.

A free repair would have been above and beyond (upgrade to 5 stars), a discount might have been expected (no update to review), but another expensive bill is bad service in my opinion. Note regarding the failure of that toilet wax seal: it's the bathroom used predominantly by my kids, weight 55 lbs and under, and even the adults in the house max out at 150 lbs. It shouldn't have failed under these conditions.

Alex is the reason we will use Able Plumbing and Electrical in the future. This man deserves company recognition as well as a raise. We returned home from Labor Day weekend to plumbing issues and were unable to use either of our toilets or showers. Alex came over after hours and stayed for 2 hours until our pipes were clean. At one point Alex told us that the machine he needed to use was a two person job. Alex could have gone home for the night, had dinner, enjoyed his evening, and scheduled us an appointment for the following day, but instead he stayed to help and called in another technician, Tate, after hours to come help us.

I was both gracious and pleasantly surprised at how willing both Tate and Alex were to stay until our plumbing was no longer a problem. Both men worked diligently and were nothing but polite and respectful throughout the job. I am so appreciative for the hard work and dedication both men demonstrated yesterday. Before he left, Alex walked us through a range of options to remedy any of our plumbing issues in the future. He was both knowledgeable and informative. The price of our service was reasonable and I will without a doubt use Able and Alex's services in the future.

Called an electrician to come out and fix a bedroom and kitchen light. Both wouldn't come on out of nowhere. Tech came out and determined it was the dimmer light switch in the bedroom. Didn't have a replacement part, installed an old flip switch but then said he could "show me how to install a dimmer myself" if I wanted to. I didn't hire a tutor. Fixed the ballast in the kitchen which worked for about a week then went out again.

All the while doing this, all he was trying to do was get me to buy LED fixtures. If you're going to roll out to do a job, make sure you have the proper equipment and tools to do so and not try to sell the customer something that he doesn't want the whole time you're working. I'm not even bothering calling back to try to have them come out and fix this because if this is your initial level of service, I would hate to see your secondary. *** Owner called after posting and made it right. Didn't come at me with a "no, you're wrong" attitude like some do. Which means he has integrity and not a whole lot of people do these days. Will use again but will ask for his best tech only.

Great and quick service for both plumbing and electrical. Needed replacement sink, faucet, plumbing and added garbage disposal. Kyle did the estimate and the work. Electrical wiring was installed by Duane and his apprentice to put in the disposal. They offered various solutions and even were willing to mention possible concerns other than what I called for (without any pressure to hire them to fix). They were very good with communication. I have faith they did a very quality job with high quality parts.

I'm giving able plumbing one star only because I thought they were way over priced. I called around and found two people who quoted half the price for the same job.

I was so very, very pleased with my serviceman! He was very knowledgeable and such a hard, dedicated worker. I was very impressed. He did such a wonderful job for me that I just had to write to you!

The electricians do great work, but way over priced, also they back tracked on their original quote. And on the receipt there are things that I did not the electrician, like calling PG&E to set up a time for the reconnect service. I'm extremely disappointed in this company.

My home started getting a clunking sound in a wall and was worried there could be serious problems. I was ready to pay to have Able Plumbing come by and evaluate the situation. I called and was told I would get a call back. In less than 5 minutes Bryan called and spend 20-30 minutes on the phone with me explaining what the issue could be and possible solutions. Sounds like I could possibly fix it myself.

He didn't try and ask for a fee for his advise. I feel that a lot other companies wouldn't have been as generous. If I do need a plumber to come fix my problem, it will be Able Plumbing.

Called on a Sunday night around 9:30 for an emergency service and was connected to a lady who took down our info. She let us know that we would be contacted "shortly" by the plumber when he was on his way. After an hour went by we still had not heard anything and called again. At this point it was past 10:30 and we just wanted to go to bed and have our clogged toilets fixed.

After talking to who I assume was the same lady, she sounded annoyed and said she would try him again. That was it. Another 30 minutes went by and still no word. Long story short they never even bothered to call back or check that we were helped. Horrible customer service and even worse communication. Definitely will not be using or calling in the future.

Dan was very nice and fixed my very expensive decorative ceiling fan even though it was a mechanical issue not electrical

Had a small disaster and Able Plumbing sent me Bryan B. to the rescue. I was in really good hands. It is really nice to trust a worker, in that, Bryan had my best interest in mind and, he did an impeccable job!

Bryan B and his helper (I can't remember his name, but he was stellar!) recently replumbed our old mobile home. We are so pleased with the quality of work done, the communication between us, their promptness and willingness to help and improve our situation, absolutely everything about Bryan and his helper we rate AAA+++!

I had an appointment for a small project. But my hot water heater had an emergency issue, not 40 minutes before I expected my technician to arrive! Fortunately, Kyle C. was able to address the issue at hand, and offered several options to fully rectify the problem, in addition to helping with the quote I originally needed.

I had John Carton come to replace all the drain pipes under my home, change out an old toilet & install a tankless water heater. He & Josh worked continuously in 100+ degree heat. They were constantly on the move.

He was great. He is an excellent representative for Able; his work was very well done, fast, and he cleaned everything up! The service charge was extremely reasonable for all he did! Great guy! Thank you!

Sorry to write a negative review but I was recently charged $349 for a simple ceiling fan installation. The ceiling was only 8 feet high and the bedroom was vacant. My choice was pay the $49 estimate and then call someone else or pay the high price. Since it was a rental property and our tenant was about to move in, we decided to go ahead and pay the high price.

The technicians were very nice - I just think $349 is too much to pay for less than an hour's work. 11/3/15 Tom (owner) contacted me and reimbursed me for a large part of what I had paid. I am now satisfied that I paid a fair price and the work they did was excellent. I really appreciate being contacted by the owner and making this right!.DC

Updated: service manager and I were able to agree on a fair price out new garbage disposal install. Able has been our plumber for over 10 years and has always been fast to respond and done a great job. We will continue to use them - thank you Chris for listening to my concerns and resolving our issue.
