Could not recommend this company more! We needed a hot water heater replaced as well as a leak fixed and the quote we received from Michael was the best we received by far. He was also extremely communicative and able to get our job done quickly. We definitely plan to work with him again in the future on any plumbing needs!

Michael is a pleasure to work with and performs quick, quality work. He diagnosed all three of my plumbing issues and was able to repair them soon thereafter. These guys are amazing! We used them to install a tankless water heater. Michael is super responsive and answered every question I had (there were a lot of them, sorry) to help pick the solution that was best for our home. Within a week he was out to perform the install. The day of the install it was raining, but his team worked through the water and mud to install the unit and didn't leave until we had hot water again. I'll be using these guys again in the future.

Durham Plumbing Service did a great job! Suspected I had a leak and was able to get an appointment for the next day. Good news is there was no active leak but since he was already here, Michael replaced my garden tub faucet cartridge and installed a new bathroom faucet in less than an hour. Good price, great company, would call them again.

I waited a while to write this review to ensure that the toilets Michael and his assistant installed were functional. Needless to say, Michael went above and beyond for me. He has a brilliant mind and it is evident that he is very passionate about his work and customer satisfaction. I needed two toilets installed and a faucet. He showed me two quality toilets that he would recommend I choose from.

When I went with the more expensive toilet he did the job for less $$$. He would have charged me a little more if I had went with a cheaper toilet. Either way I would have been spending the same amount no matter which option I chose. I went with the more expensive toilet. Despite the fact that he would have made more if I would have chosen the cheaper toilet, he highly recommended for me to get the best quality one.

I value honesty and that is what Michael gave me. He also fixed a chandelier that was hanging to low and in my way (out of courtesy to me). I almost forgot, I had gotten some AC work done and was not confident in their work until Michael took a trip to my attic and assured me at no cost that it looked like they had done a great job. I trusted his advice and it saved me from calling the AC company back to work on the problem a fourth time. I will certainly save Michaels card in my book of "handy men". Thank you Michael!

Excellent service! Our garbage disposal hadn't been working well for several months and led to a leak under the sink. Andrew quickly identified and fixed the issue for a very fair price. We had a great experience with Durham Plumbing Services. Michael was able to do a toilet installation and fix a plumbing issue. Michael was quick, professional and courteous. He also responds quick to texts. We would highly recommend Durham Plumbing Services!

We replaced several toilets and Michael did a great job assembling and installing them. He was polite, responsive and he quickly and professionally installed them. Additionally we called him a couple of weeks later for a shower faucet issue. He came over and quickly diagnosed the issue and replaced the Moen valve with a new one. When we have other plumbing work arise Michael will be the one we call, we highly recommend him.

DPS was quick to respond and they were able to come out the same week to fix the problems I was having. Michael responded quickly to texts, was kind, sweet to my pup, and efficient. His prices are very fair and he always attempts to save you money where he can. I will definitely use him again and would recommend to others!

We had a great experience with Durham Plumbing services! Michael was communicative, helpful and took the time to fix our houses' plumbing issues and put the date and time in to give us honest recommendations on what he'd do if it was his house, and if he were in our shoes. We felt the price quote and cost was accurate for the amount of work involved. (Can't day the same about another quote we got from a different plumber.) Definitely will hire Michael and DPS again if something comes up!

My wife had gotten a recommendation for Mike off of our list serve so I gave him a call. It was on a Sunday evening, before New Year's and I assumed that he would get back to me in the morning. Instead, not only did he call me back promptly, he came over and fixed our problem that night so we could have hot water the next morning! Two weeks later, we had a pipe burst in our crawlspace.

Michael is an excellent plumber. He is conscientious, sociable, very competent, and community minded. He came to our place shortly after I called him on the same day, and was extremely punctual. He offered very reasonable rates and guaranteed his work. I would highly recommend his services.

Michael and team were very quick to respond to my online inquiry and setup the home visit the next day. The folks at Durham Plumbing determined the valve I needed was already installed. They still inspected the valve and gave it a clean bill of health.

I own a house in Durham, and the water heater went out unexpectedly (we never expect it to go out, do we?). Durham Plumbing Services made a next day appointment even though I called at 4:30 in the afternoon, arrived at the appointed time, did all the work quickly and were very friendly.

We called them at 1:30 in the morning, slightly frantic because we could hear a pipe draining water into our wall. They were incredibly polite and accommodating. I had shut off the water so they didn't need to show up until the morning.

Michael did a great job helping us figure out how to get water to a once vacant lot for our urban farm. We had literally called half a dozen other plumbers and folks from the city who could not solve our problem and were feeling pretty bummed out about it. That's when we heard about Durham Plumbing Services from a friend.
