I had been looking around for months for a garage door repair company that was affordable and that had great ratings in Pittsburgh. I found Steel City Garage Doors online and they came highly recommended by my friends. The prices were really good, and they were able to come out the next day. Tim and his team were exceptionally professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. My new garage door looks perfect. Tim informed me from the start of the lead time for the new materials due to supply chain delays, and the door was installed exactly when estimated - maybe even a week or two earlier. The installation was high quality and reasonably priced. Definitely highly recommend!

I had some unique obstacles preventing a brand new garage door opener from being installed easily. A1 Garage came out and quickly determined that they were unable to install a brand new opener. I reached out to Steel City Garage and got in touch with Chris. Chris came out, took a look at everything and after a bit, he determined that he could get it to work!
Five days later, he was out and managed to get everything installed pretty quickly and the opener worked flawlessly! Aside from Chris being a great guy, it was nice having a company go above and beyond to get something done that didn't seem possible! I rarely leave reviews but seeing how great everything went with this company, I just had to! I'd recommend these guys over ANY other company!

Today when I got home from work, I couldn't close the garage door. Called many companies, but Steel city garage door was the first to respond quickly. Sergio said he'd be there in an hour, but he arrived in 30 minutes. Tim was very experienced and quickly recognized the issue. He replaced two cables for a reasonable price and was in and out in less than an hour. I would highly recommend this service to anybody in the area.

The garage door was making a lot of noise, and I thought it simply needed some maintenance so I contacted Steel City garage door. Luckily, Dan discovered a broken spring before it wrecked the engine. It's now much quieter and performs better than before. Very pleasant, clean, and efficient. I highly recommend them to everyone.

I recently had a garage door spring break on me. I called Steel City Garage Door, and Dan agreed to come out the same day. We were able to arrange the repair two days later, and if I had known the repair would be so rapid, I would have had him come the day I first called him. I ended up replacing both springs because it was all going to fall apart anyway and I didn't know how old the other spring was, and he gave me a good price.
He even gave my door a quick once-over and assured me that everything else was in perfect working order. Great communication, and I would suggest Steel City Garage Door to anybody in need of garage door repair.

Tim I guess the boss never told me there was 39 dollars service fee. Like my garage door wasn't closing and they never fixed it and just told me to get a new motor which was overprice (850-950) depending on the type. Would not recommend it for pricing it so high and not being clear up front with their costumers.

I called Steel City's office because my garage door opener broke and explained the situation and they sent Chris within an hour. Chris was very knowledgeable and explained what it needed to be done with options. Replaced the opener, installed new keypad and switch all in one hour. I'm a very satisfied customer!

I have to say, Steel City Garage Doors was one of the best businesses that I've dealt with in a long time. They responded to my request quickly and came out the next morning. My garage door springs broke and they assessed everything and had it repaired within hours. Really nice staff and were very detailed around the work that they did. I can already tell that my garage door is significantly improved from the work that was done. Don't even bother using anyone else.

I called Steel City Garage Doors in Squirrel Hill around 3:30pm and Dan was able to come out the same day around 5:15! He got my garage back on its track and even unbent part of my track that was crooked. He was nice, quick and efficient! The price was fantastic as well! I couldn't have asked for a better experience! I will use them in the future if I have other needs and will recommend to my family and friends!

Tim from Steel City Garage Doors was able to come just a couple of hours after I called. He's very thorough and explained everything he was doing and then showed me some preventative maintenance that I should be doing on my garage door every 8-10 months (who knew?). Aside from being thorough, he was fast too. Gone in about an hour. I'd never had a garage door repair before and they made it a fairly painless experience at a fair price.

I've had an extremely positive experience with these guys. They came out and installed my new garage door back in the fall. They did it in one day, despite the tricky set-up that my garage presented them. And more recently, when I was (mistakenly) worried that something had malfunctioned with the door, they came out within hours of me calling them, they inspected it, and assured me that everything was looking good.
