How our story was started. Fred Henefeld, a Banksville native, had a dream of owning his own company after he served in the United States Navy and fought in the Korean War. Thus Henefeld Garage Doors began in the garage of his parent's home. Along with his wife Eileen they created and built the most respected family owned garage door company in the Pittsburgh Area.

Fred passed away in December of 2009 but his daughter Lisa and son Neil along with their families are carrying on this family legacy. Henefeld Garage Doors is HIGHLY respected in the garage door industry and especially in the Pittsburgh area.
