We had a great time with the workers that came, we had a small fire started with the Refrigerator and took the washing machine with it, both shared the same outlet, I even made a comment and wanted a picture of the man that was on his hands n knees cleaning my kitchen ugly floor, when finished my floor look great my husband told me years ago that it's a woman job to be down on their knees cleaning the floors, he is not here anymore he is with Jesus Christ.
I sign a many papers forms but I have insurance, my time with the men that brought the fans was great , I gave comment on all I had to sign, turned out we all had fun We are all Country people here I told one of the fellows you talk country welcome, the other fellow told him we will work on him, People these are great workers you can enjoy them or you can be silent, If you had to travel two hours or more to do a clean up, be kind, offer then water, pop, we did, they said they were fine.
I would hire them again all that came to make our home safe again, The papers I signed went to my insurance, Be kind n thoughtful for those that come and clean, if it wasn't for Servpro you could be cleaning your own mess, yes I will let others know about the wonderful job they did Thank you all who were involved in making us safe in the job you did for us.

I was dissatisfied with ServPro of South & West Spokane County, and I hope you will read this review to understand why. My basement flooded, and ServPro came out and immediately said it would cost $6,000, with half due right then. After paying up and signing at least 6 forms on their iPad, I pointed out again the wet areas, and a sympathetic team of two removed wet padding and carpet in one and a half rooms, set up drying fans, and taped up two plastic dividers to separate wet from dry areas.
They worked about 5 hours and directed me to maintain closed doors and sealed-up plastic at all times. I asked for copies of the forms I had signed and an accounting of the work and was told to expect these the following day. That day the project manager came with two others to collect samples to test for asbestos-a process that took 25 minutes. I again requested the forms and work costs and received these in a zip file that neither I nor another service person that came for five minutes on Thursday could open.
He assured me that the information would be emailed that day. On Friday, the team of two returned for another 5 hours removing drywall and baseboards. They let me know they would have to return to remove soggy door jambs, and I reminded the pair that I still needed the forms and cost breakdown. On the following Monday, a team came to remove the drying machines and plastic.
As they packed up, I checked the carpet in a room that had been wet about 2 feet in from the doorway and discussed on day one. By now the room had remained untouched for over a week and water had spread out further into the room. The team brought back the fans and stated they would return next day-Tuesday. No one came, so after calling after hours I was informed that workers would be out on Wednesday.
They came and removed 3x the amount of carpet pad than would have been removed had they taken care of it on day one. In the meantime, ServPro is very conscientious about regularly sending me a bill for the remaining $3,000, yet never sends the requested forms and accounting nor returns any phone calls. The following Monday, I called ServPro manager Chandler to try again to get the information as well as an adjustment to the bill because of the increased damage caused by negligence in leaving a room wet for over a week, never responding to requests for forms I legally am entitled to, and a review of this inflated bill.
I wholeheartedly believe people should be paid fairly-and timely. And ServPro should-and has been-paid as well. However, in light of their mishandling of things and not responding to requests for documentation or phone calls-these issues are unacceptable. This bill is inflated and constitutes price gouging. My recommendation is to think carefully before contacting this company if you find yourself in a water-soaked mess and need help.
Their practices indicate that their priority is taking your money rather than mitigating your damage and losses reasonably when you're vulnerable and doing your best to navigate through it. Because of my experience, I advise you to get other quotes elsewhere should what happened to me happen to you-or, at the very least, take this as a cautionary tale of "buyer beware" when dealing with this company.

This was a very very stressful flood in my condo, and absolutely everyone has been very kind, helpful, and really great. Between the unbelievably quick response the night that it flooded and they drove a really long way on an icy night, then every other part of fixing all of the water damage. I felt very much taken care of, and I really appreciate everything.

I am very impressed with my experience with Servpro. I had them clean the carpets in my apartment before move out. The workers were kind, respectful, and wore their masks in my residence. They were very reasonable for pricing and very communicative. I spoke to one of the cleaners and learned they donated their time, supplies, and work to clean the Lincoln state as someone poured paint on it on Thanksgiving.
It's nice to know that a local company like this is here to help especially in these crazy times and didn't hesitate to help our community! Thanks Servpro, I will be using you again when needed!

I'll start off that they got to my house quickly even though the employee on call had to drive quite far to get there. The start of the process was quick and pleasant. I got a call from Tyler the "project manager" later that morning to let me know they will send a subcontractor out for asbestos testing. They also came same day which was great. There was some miscommunication with Tyler after our initial contact as to what day they would be coming out, but we still connected the same week as the flood. ServPro says they work with insurance, which is great or so it seems.
After the first week, I had to continually ask for demo to be done. ServPro also got an estimate from the asbestos company for abatement, which was clearly padded for an extreme profit for both companies. It would have cost us over $4k out of pocket after insurance available coverage for it to be removed. We found someone else and only paid about $300 out of pocket.
I don't think ServPro likes the fact that we weren't going to use the company they subcontracted to for the abatement because their pockets weren't getting lined like they wanted. Little did they know I work for a major insurance carrier and I'm fully aware of how the claims process works and know what claim padding looks like. After repeatedly having dehumidifiers not working and having to continually ask when certain demo is going to occur, even after MOLD was growing, I was told by them that since we're "not using the company that we recommended for abatement, we're done here." Just like that.
They bill my insurance over $10k for mediocre work. For dehumidifiers that weren't running, for doing minuscule things they didn't do, like detaching the washing machine and dryer. I made my insurance fully aware that their invoice was not completely accurate. I received an email notification from my insurance that a payment was sent to ServPro for less than the billed amount.
I asked my adjuster to confirm that ServPro did agree to this amount as resolution to their services, he said that this was agreed upon with ServPro. ServPro then turns around and sends me a balance bill for over $1800. The amount they didn't get from insurance. That's not working with insurance if you're going to balance bill. This is clear that ServPro does not care about the people affected by a disaster, but rather lining their pockets.
I shouldn't owe them for their terrible customer service, lack of working equipment which overall caused EVEN MORE damage to our home. They left wet vinyl down which made the underlayment and subfloor MOLD. They didn't flood cut which caused the wall to MOLD. They only did these demo items when I had to TELL THEM TO. They didn't ever put drying mats on my 117 YEAR OLD WOOD FLOORS in an attempt to mitigate the damage and now the ENTIRE living room and dining room floors have to be removed due to a small 20sq ft area, maybe less that buckled and cupped due to them only putting a few fans to "dry" the area.
Those floors are something we will never get back and they can't be replaced because they're not made anymore. THE ORIGINAL WOOD FLOORS IN OUR HOME. Which we should be sending them a bill for the floors they didn't help mitigate when they very well could have. Had they put the drying mats on our floors, they probably would have laid flat enough to be sanded and saved but they failed and didn't do this. Again, I had to continually ask them to do things when they're supposed to be the EXPERT. I have also sent an email about my poor experience and did not receive a single response. I do not recommend this company. Go local not these franchised chain companies.

I used this company for a carpet cleaning in my home as I was moving out, to ensure all the carpets were clean and stains were out. Ed ad Mitch we're amazing! They answered all my questions, were extremely polite, respectful, and best of all did a fantastic job! This company is highly recommend and has been giving back to the community in Spokane as well through volunteering to clean the Lincoln statue after the paint was thrown on it. Thank you Servpro!
