It took 6 months for Compass to fix a burst pipe and replace my carpet. At first I thought it was due to Covid, but after dealing with the office staff I realized it was because they were unprofessional and had just failed to correspond well with other contractors, myself and my insurance company. The first "statement" I seen was mailed to me about. 40 days after the project manager seen the work was completed.
The manager told me he would be in touch with me with in a week, and never did. The "statement" claimed I was over 6k past due in a 30-60 day window. I hadn't even seen an itemized invoice, no correspondence from the project manager, no paper mail, no email, not even a phone call.

Was told they'd be right out as had house fire, since they said they could do the job right away, took 6 weeks for them to even show up, one of the contractors (sub) came out but Compass didn't have their job done yet so had to wait again. said they'd be out Friday, didn't show so WE called them, oh we had an emergency, well how about a call saying. not going to make it so we are not sitting around waiting for you to show.
Now over two months in and still waiting on them to finish the job. Poor management, no contact, leave messages, still no contact, so we called again and they had another excuse as to why job not finished. This is unexceptable. Had two other offers to do but they said a week out, we went with Compass as they said they could get right on it! Two months out and still incomplete. Poor service for sure.

While we were stationed overseas they were hired to restore our house. They squandered away thousands of dollars, didn't complete the job despite me making sure they could do it with us being in another country. They are the company whom the insurance company hired to do the demo. they didn't put our house back the way it was. Broke our. kitchen cabinets and didn't replace them or put them back in the correct place.
Since we were in Japan I couldn't see the job or see how it was going. I strongly do NOT recommend this company. It's going to cost me $20,000 out of my pocket to fix their mistakes.

They did a great job for me on all the projects they worked on. They worked for me on 2 separate occasions at 2 separate homes with different crews at both places and they all did a great job. I will use them on future projects for sure and I willingly refer them any time I hear someone talking about construction.

Compass Construction was great to work with! Everyone from start to finish was courteous, knowledgeable, arrived on time for appointments as well on your scheduled project days. They kept the work area clean from the beginning of the job to the end. They willing answered all my questions which I appreciated. I would highly recommend Compass Construction.
