We had a great experience with Mark at My Buddy the Plumber. He was kind, professional and very helpful. He let us know what needed to be addressed to upkeep our AC system while also giving us the space to make an informed decision ourselves. Absolutely incredible service. I only asked about replacing my furnace and AC (which broke down on first hot day of the year), but Shawn took the time to ask about how my current system had worked for me and he included adding a extra vent to my basement to help with even heating in the winter. Shawn was completely focused on getting me what I wanted/needed and the best deal on it.

When there was an issue with the supplier having the right equipment, they took care of the whole thing and ended up finding a better unit in stock at no extra cost to me. Tony and the rest of the installation team were on time, friendly, and professional. My Buddy really cares about their customers and has an extremely knowledgeable team. I really couldn't have asked for a better customer experience.

Our furnace died at 10:30 pm during a cold snap, I had heard good things from a co-worker and so they were the first company we called. Although they list as 24/7, we didn't get a return call until the next morning, but hey.who wants to work all night? I don't. The service guy came out to take a look and informed us that our 24 yr old furnace had to be replaced and had his sales guy come out within the hour. Shawn was great to work with and very friendly, giving us multiple options.

He then managed to get us in the last slot before the weekend so we only spent a day and a half in the cold. Korey and Kasey were our installers and did a fantastic job. They were at our house within 30 minutes of the 3 hour time slot to arrive and worked until the job was done, which was much faster than I would have imagined it could be done. The thermostat was explained to me and all my questions answered.

They were also very good about not leaving the door open as they came in and out for parts, as it was only 20 degrees outside. And bonus, they didn't mind my nosy dog. I will definitely be calling them for our future needs.

One night we had a shower faucet that would not turn off, and we were unable to turn the house water off. We made one call, and they were able to come out right away. The man who came was amazing. Our furnace went out due to an inducer issue that was going to cost over a grand to replace. Upon inspection, their technician's attention to detail identified critical problems with the system that would lead to carbon monoxide issues shortly after repairing the inducer. They were very patient with us as we scrambled to shop around and find the best deal compared to what My Buddy was offering and after calling all other 5 star rated HVAC companies we did not find a better offer than my buddy.

They came back in under 24hrs with all needed equipment, and technicians John and Jackson completed the entire removal, replacement (resulting in a greater than 16% increase in efficiency vs original model), and clean up in under 5hrs. We are more than pleased with the new system and wouldn't recommend any other company over My Buddy.

We apparently had a defective water pressure regulator on our main line coming in off the street. It was diagnosed really quick, it was repaired/replaced really quick, was done really well, and the plumber (Truitt?) was very nice to work with! Price seemed a bit high. but I didn't really shop around too hard. But then again, that may be the price for the labor & parts, for a job like that. Nonetheless, I now have awesome water pressure, and the wife is gonna LOVE her showers, now! Well done My Buddy. well done!

The service technician GT was very friendly and knowledgeable and was here in less than 30 minutes from my initial call. He not only fixed my furnace issues but also checked inside for deterioration of my heat exchanger which he said looks good. I feel he gave me great value for my $89 dollar after hours call. I have already used this company for plumbing issues and now for heating and I plan to stay a customer with them for all my plumbing or heating problems. Thanks to GT for making my wife and I warm tonight with a fixed furnace.

Called around to plumbers closer to me and all of them said they only took emergency services. We found My Buddy and they were so nice and caring. They got someone out asap and they were super knowledgeable and helped us fix our sink pipe that the builders didn't build up to code. Best service we will definitely use them for the rest of our houses to come!

After realizing we had no water coming out of our taps/showers in the house we contacted my buddy plumbing. Kyle, the technician arrived promptly and proceeded to help identify the cause of our issue (water on the street had been turned off). I 100% recommend Kyle to any others in need as he was highly knowledgeable, easy to work with and a friendly guy. Thanks again! 10/10

We had our furnace go out on New Years Day, which was especially awful as it we were having a cold surge with temps in the single digits. My Buddy had a service agent out to us first thing in the morning to see if there was anything that could be done to bring our poor old 20+ year furnace back to life to hold out through the winter. The tech, GT, was knowledgeable and honest with us, showing us the issues that we would/could run into even if we were to do a part replacement.

We opted to bite the bullet and go for the full replacement since it was evident that would need done shortly anyway. John came out the next morning and got our new furnace installed in just a couple of hours. He was stellar, and so helpful in walking us through the setup of our new thermostat and showing us all the components of the new furnace also. Just a super nice crew, and we also appreciated how clean they were with their work! Our home is happily heated again thanks to John and his team!

I do not recommend this company. They installed a shower head and faucet that we purchased ourselves before hand, but charged us the same price as if we didn't buy it. The manager way over charged us for labor, even though the job ended up not as complicated as initially thought. We needed things done, and waited for 3 days for them to even come in the first place. I'm very disappointed in this company for taking advantage of us.

Damon with My Buddy was amazing. He was on time-even on a snowy Saturday before Christmas. He was friendly and professional and he gave us all of our options and risks before starting work. He installed our kitchen faucet while we had another engagement. We came back to a beautiful new faucet- installed perfectly! He was trustworthy to be in the house while we were away and locked up when he left. Awesome service! Thank you!

After receiving several quotes from other places we decided to get one from My Buddy the Plumber, they went through our system like none of the other guys had. They had excellent recommendations about moving our vent to prevent hair build up and expanding the size of both our intakes. Our house is breathing way better than it ever has now. They recommended a quieter furnace and we're loving it. Korey and Kasey were informative and went above and beyond with the installation and fixing things that our roofers missed, and clearing dog hair out of the intakes.

They were pleasant to be around and had no troubles working around the professional cleaners that were working at the same time. Would recommend this company to friends and family. Very satisfied, thanks!

We came home from a long road trip late afternoon on the Saturday before Halloween and discovered that the pressure gauge on our well had cracked and was leaking into the crawl space below our house. We called My Buddy based on their amazing Yelp reviews and My Buddy had a technician, Robert, at our house within a few hours. Robert diagnosed the problem and put us at ease that we would be able to make it thru the weekend without a catastrophic failure.

On Monday, Cuyler from My Buddy was at our home, knew of the issue bc of Roberts notes + photos, reviewed the leak, determined the solution, and had it fixed within 2 hours. Cuyler was professional, courteous, and informative. I would highly recommend My Buddy!

Had furnace and A/C replaced. Great experience from quote to work. Very attentive and helpful. The installers Corey and Casey did an excellent job-- highly recommended!

Damon is the best! He's so knowledgeable about all things plumbing and more. He's always fair with pricing and goes above and beyond to find a part or make sure a project is done right. He has worked on so many things in our home and he will be the person we call for ALL projects in the future!

My buddy the plumber heating & air from the beginning to the end of our AC adventure were extremely helpful and reliable. Larry kept us from wasting $700 for a band aid fix on our 18 year old AC unit and instead suggested having Shawn come out and talk about our replacement options. Shawn gave us multiple options and was able to have someone out as soon as two days later. Ryan and Chandler did a amazing job replacing our AC and furnace.

Both made sure that everything was done to a T, and that any questions were answered. Id highly recommend this company to anyone and will definitely be using them in the future.

My toilet is broken and I called to schedule an appointmen. I was told someone would be out the next day between 1 & 5. I worked from home all day but no one ever showe. called today and was told someone could be here between 8 & 12 and that they would send a confirmation of appointmen. I have not received confirmation of appointment and doubt they will actually show. Who needs a toilet anyway, right?!?

Do not use this company! Disappeared for 5 hours after initial service and did not have appropriate equipment to do the job. A call to the supervisor was necessary to track down he technician who said he'd be gone an hour. Showed up 4 hours late the following day with no call to explain and were too late to complete the job on agreed date/time.

No bill was presented at time of repair and a day later they called and threatened an 89 year old woman with a lien on her home unless she paid immediately - still no bill was presented to her in writing. Ridiculous and abusive business practices and very, very unprofessional.

I had a leak in my basement floor. I cannot seem to figure out where I was coming from. A guy came over here within a couple hours. before I even open the door he started talking about a restoration company needs to come and clean up the mess. then he told me my drum drain system was illegal and it needed to be replace. I responded with this house Was built in 1950 and that was Legal then so it's legal now.

You just can't put a new one in like that and then he agreed. Then he told me that the bathtub gasket needed to be replaced and it will be $1200. In the next room he told me that the washer and dryer needed a P-trap and last 6 inch pipe going out needed to be replaced. And that would be $1800 and proceeded to tell me that I really needed to get the restoration company out and it wouldn't cost me anything because insurance covers it.

We noticed a cap was loose on the bottom of the 6 inch pipe so he told me to get a replacement in the meantime which I did. again his final comment was I should really get the restoration company out. I later found out at the plumbing store when I bought the cap for the clean out where the leak was that they get a commission for that. I buy the cap. total quote from these guys before a $5000 plus restoration- $3000 Total cost to me after getting the cap and stoping the leak $11

They were great, fast, clean, professional. Help fix something another plumber did wrong.

Great service with MBTP. Our tech (Robert) was especially helpful. Plumbers are pricey, but sometimes you need a professional. In those cases, I'd recommend this company.

To start with they gave me a 5 hour window for my first appointment. Maybe they think they are operating a cable company in the 1990's. Canceled that one on me because they said they had a bunch of emergency calls. Next available appointment 3 days later, again a 5 hour window. Cancelled that one on me at the end of the 5 hours. So I missed two days waiting for these guys to show up and all I get from them is sorry, don't know what to tell you. Clearly unprofessional and disorganized. I would stay away.

After reading the (mostly positive) reviews, I decided to take a chance on this company and so happy I did. My furnace quit working all of a sudden 6 weeks ago. Had no idea what was wrong. Everyone I dealt with on the phone was professional and responsive to my questions. GT was AWESOME & kind. He figured out the problem in 5 minutes and seemed to know exactly what he was doing. I honestly don't think it could have gone any better! Thank you GT! Awesome experience!

I dealt with Preston who was super friendly understanding. Though I wasnt able to get my AC fixed he called the office to have them help get the problem fixed

Just purchased a home the air was not cold called My Buddy they came right out. Dustin was my tech he was straight forward with issues and gave me several options came out very next day and fixed the issues with unit. Dustin was professional and very friendly your company was well represented. Yelp came through again with a great Recommendation thanks My Buddy the plumber definitely will use and recommend them to others.

I had a flood in my basement and got in touch with several plumbers through Yelp to make appointments and receive a quote. I sent emails on 5/13, and on 5/14 received an email from My Buddy the plumber, that morning with two different times for that day. I responded, and did not hear back. I also sent another email on 5/15, saying I was still interested and would like to reschedule, but did not receive a response. Definitely disappointed. Would have appreciated another quote before choosing a plumber to go with for my repair of my sewer line.

Dustin came out to get our evaporative cooler set up for summer. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure the job was done right. When we turned on the water to the cooler we discovered the water line was cracked and leaking, but Dustin worked with me to find a solution to make sure we got the cooler up and running same day, despite not having the length of line he needed.

I really appreciated Dustin's willingness and enthusiasm to provide a workable solution for us. So many technicians would just shrug and suggest calling the office to schedule another time to address this issue or begrudgingly consider alternate approaches but Dustin went above and beyond to provide excellent customer customer service as if he owned the company himself, something I was pleasantly surprised to experience with a company as large as this.

I will definitely be using My Buddy The Plumber again for all of my future plumbing and HVAC needs and recommend you to do the same! You know a company is doing something right when the employees are as exceptional as Dustin!

I'd be troubled had I survived my experience with My Buddy The Plumber without being subject to sexual harassment. Tragicomically, there's much more. TL;DR: Sexual harassment, stuff they broke, stuff they should have been able to do but had no business attempting, inexplicable "fixing" of things that weren't broke, no reasonable response from. management, extended havoc. Did I mention skeeviness? Also, Brent was just fine.

Very professional, seemed competent. I'm guessing Brent was not the problem. In fact, I feel sorry for Brent for being saddled with such a nincompoop as a work partner. But the lack of communication, in general, and from management suggests that their biz model goes.

Derrick really helped so much. Had a problem that the lawn care technician didn't know where the water source was coming from for my lawn sprinklers. What I was led to belive by the lawn care company would likely be an expensive fix turned out to take like 2 minutes from an experienced and knowledgeable expert (Derrick). Thank you again My Buddy! Very much appreciated. Problem solved.

Thank you Brian, Tyler, Hayden and everyone on your team for doing such a fabulous job. We had our entire plumbing system redone in 1 day. Yes, 1 day. They replaced everything from the main line coming into the home to the main drain leaving. They installed a new water heater, new water filtration system, new shutoff valves for every system in the home (dishwasher, washer, water heater, main lines, sinks, etc.).

We can isolate anything in the home with the turn of a valve. So cool. The quality of their work is outstanding and you can tell they take pride in what they do. It was such a pleasure working with all of you. You were friendly, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. If I could give you a higher rating I would. These guys made my whole week. I had flooding in my apartment and they came right out and fixed the issue and went over the top for me and my little. Was littlerally in tears. happy tears. thank you thank you thank you

Waited 5 days for someone to come out and expected someone with parts and tools to do the job. Nope, it was an "estimator". We could have gotten someone sooner if we wanted to pay $89 for an after hours call out. So glad we didn't do that. One of the "ears" of our toilet closet flange broke so it needs to be replaced. Their quote was $976 plus the cost of having another contractor come out to fix the hole in the ceiling they needed to make.

They did give me the option to cut the hole in the ceiling & remove the toilet and put it back, they would only charge us $537. Another option they gave us was for $292 they would install a $5 "temporary" flange repair ring. It's basically a second flange ring made of metal that bolts on over top of the regular flange. Again I would have to remove and reinstall the toilet. Thankfully we called another plumber and he charged us about $200 to remove the broken flange and replace with new and didn't have to cut the ceiling in the basement. This place is a complete rip-off. Would not recommend.

My toilet broke the night before my son's birthday. I called after hours on a Friday night & Brian was there exactly when they said he'd be there! Sold me the wrong unit for my house and never even commissioned it so the unit had been running much harder than it should and will likely fail prematurely. They ignored the issues I complained about with airflow and had me use crappy filters and settings with my vents instead of actually solving the issue. I had an actual professional come and confirmed that the return air CFM is way below what it should be and saw that they never even finished installing the furnace and AC as it still had not been commissioned. Would never use again. They pay $50 for people in credit to review so these are all fake. I know because it did it to get my $50 and who does not want to be nice.

Based on unsatisfactory service we received I do not have confidence in the abilities and knowledge of the plumber from My Buddy who "installed" a hot water heater for us. The hot water heater we inherited upon purchasing the home was leaking and we called My Buddy for an estimate on installing a new one. The manner in which the estimate was. handled should have been a red flag as several incorrect quotes were sent over (wrong price, wrong size of water heater) before we finally agreed to allow them to replace and install. At the time of install we received more incorrect information from the plumbers onsite as they alleged we needed more work than what was actually not functioning.

Terrible experience and customer service, never showed and lied about it. We are under contract and last week my wife scheduled a sewer scope for yesterday. Yesterday afternoon my wife calls for the results and is told they would send it over. Nothing arrives. This morning she calls again and is told they never actually came out because they were too busy. No apologies for the poor communication or lying to us, and refused to offer a discount and reschedule. Needless to say we called another company.

We just recently moved into our home and was having trouble with our hot water heater. Caleb from My Buddy was a HUGE help in resolving the issue. Not only did he diagnose and fix the specific problem, he also provided suggestions and measures to prevent reoccurrence. Caleb knows his craft and truly has the heart of a teacher. Great, affordable, friendly company. I needed a toilet fixed and they were able to get me scheduled within a couple of days. Mike was very professional, clean, friendly and on time. He was able to diagnose the problem call for the part and get my toilet up and running properly again.

Grateful for this professional service! Today, My Buddy the Plumber came to rectify the mess of a job made by another plumbing service we hired to install a back flow system in our home. The other service refused to answer our calls when we called to inform them of a serious leak that occurred right after they left our property.

These guys are awesome. They took our call on a Sunday, showed up quickly. They let me know my options and pricing ahead of time. I'll never call another plumbing service. Their rates are low and there was zero hassles, other than the drama my drain dished out.

Brandon came out promptly on the day we called - there was flooding in the basement and they responded quickly. He spent way more time than I thought he would cleaning out the lines -- did the one outside first, and when that didn't fix it, cleaned the one inside, too.

I had an emergency on a Sunday night. He came quickly, and fixed the broken pipe and leaky connection quickly and correctly. For the time spent I figure the labor rate at about $600 an hour. If that is a low rate, I'm glad I didn't call the high rate guys.

Brandon came over to our home to look at our 3 year-old water heater, which had inexplicably turned off and wouldn't turn on again, and left with my complete confidence. Not only did he fix the problem quickly but since the problem was minor he charged me accordingly and left me assured of his honesty.
