Yes, the panels work. I think? I'm pretty sure. However, the installation process was a disorganized mess. Only to be followed by my finding that our solar generation and power usage had been wrong for 2 years so the app data was useless. They have yet to resolve it. Lots of promises around project management, service, etc but very little actual follow through.
Extremely disappointing as we went with them bc they are a local company. The halo effect of "they're local!" only last so long - this is an extremely expensive system that needs to work reliably.

Interviewed a few companies and found Luminalt to be the best of them all. They really care about customer service and it shows from their consultation all the way to the installation. They kept me updated on every stage of the progress. The best part was the installation. They hire local people who are enthusiastic about their work and it shows. They estimated 3 days and got it all done in 2!
I'd like to give a shout out to Pamela who was the project lead. She was great to work with during the installation. She ran a tight and efficient crew. Kept everyone motivated and focussed. Keep up the awesome work!

There are several solar companies serving the city of San Francisco, but I chose Luminalt mainly because of their customer reviews of how good Luminalt's service is. Now, I can attest to the fact that Luminalt really did an outstanding job in installing our solar panels! Luminalt is an honest company with outstanding customer service from CEO to office staff.

Luminalt was very friendly, responsive, and accommodating throughout the entire process of installing a 4kW solar system. They did quality work and I'm happy with the result. Because they are a San Francisco company, you also get to take advantage of the city's solar benefits program (which incentivizes local installers).

Luminalt were great throughout the process. They are a small, locally-owned business and were very appreciative of my business. They clearly explained all of the steps involved in the process and took care of all of the paperwork required for permits and rebates. They also helped me find financing for the installation. The installation team was friendly, very efficient and neat.

Very professional, concientious, courteous crew. They made getting everything installed very easy. There was very little disruption to our day to day life, which we really appreciated. Luminalt is a pleasure to work with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to other people who are interested in having a solar system installed.
