My husband has been trying to get ahold of them since they took over for our old alarm company, Black Hat. We live in San Tan and have lost our ability to control both our garage lights and our front door lock on the alarm.com app, but even after putting in multiple tickets, our tickets continue to be closed out with no response, yet they have no problem taking our payment each month.
If we didn't own our alarm system outright, we would've canceled them a long time ago. We're currently in the process of switching to another company because enough is enough.

I would not even give 1 star but there is not option for zero star. This company does not deserve any stars at all. By far the worst company I had to deal with. I was originally with Black Hat security and Clear Protectiob bought it over while during that time I was up for renewal. I had every intention of continuing w the new company Clear protection until this happened.
Long story short, I was over assessed with fees from my police department because my alarm system would go off and I would not get the call from the monitoring system to let them know it's a false accident. I have kids and sometimes the enter the house before me and can't shut off the alarm fast enough. Well because of non communication from the monitoring system the police kept showing up.
It happened 4 times leaving me a fee of $285. I explained to the clear protection company that there's an error in my system bc I am not getting phone calls to clear the alarm. They told me they needed to have someone come up and see if there is a problem with the system. After assessing, there was a problem and they told me since it was a mechanical error they would take care of the payment from the police department. 2 months later they still never did!
I called about 8-10 times about this and kept getting the run around. I spoke to Carol McKay who spoke to her supervisor Ceaser and explained what had happened. Carol assured me over and over and promised 5 times that this would be taken care of. But that was never the case. She had so many excuses on why she couldn't do what she needed to clear this.
One excuse she used was she needed to get the okay from Cesar. She called to let me know she got the okay and that it would be paid. One month later I receive a bill from. The police department saying I owe this balance of $285. When I called carol again she said I have to run through this with Cesar when a month ago she told me it was okay with him.
So that was a lie! She continues to ask me to send her an email with the invoice and I sent over three times and she claimed she didn't get it. At this point there was NO WAy I was renewing. Seeing how unorganized and how much LIES and excuses they gave me. When I call now to try to speak to Carol about thin, they all tell me she is not available at the moment and can they take a message and have her call me.
I don't get any calls or emails back after leaving it. I ask to speak to Ceaser and supposively he's busy on the other line w customers and can never talk to me. I spoke to another person named Jonee and she told me she will try her best to handle this appropriately and that she completely understands my frustration. She sent and email and nothing happened!
This company is a huge red flag! This company is only out to take money. They don't care or keep their promises when problem arises. It's good when they can take your money but as soon as you have problems EVERYONE has some sort of excuse on why they can't help and then they will just vanish and not help you. I pay a monthly fee of $38 for them to do their job and now I having to pay $285 on top of it because of their system error! I am warning everyone, if you want to just throw money out then USE them. If you want to support a company that is full of lies and excuse then USE them!

Horrible company and awful owner! Richie Davis was not an honest and responsible person! We had camera system along alarm system which we had an issue with both of them from day first! He got money and ZERO customer service! Do NOT trust him and his job. Even Novel got involved but she wasn't helpful either. I had to repot them to BBB general attorney, FLC, customer protection, police department. they all agree that he was not a reliable Bussiness man! Do not TRUST this company!

After many attempts for several months Clear was unable to fix my problem which prevented me to control my camera system they sold me and installed. Then after several calls and no response, I questioned if they were still in business. I then had to hire another company to enable me to control Clear's equipment. The tech with another company was able to find the problem and got me up and running within a half hour. It was a simple fix. Overall a very frustrating experience with Clear Protection!

Richie. I need an address to return your equipment that was pulledlast week. Noelle said we would be able to tansfer to Dallas and you or Noelle have not returned Titans call to help them with this transfer that we were supposedly told we can do. Titan said they are not aware of such transfer as we were told by Noelle. We just want to return your equipment at this point that is already boxed up.
I don't want anything further to do with this transfer or your equipment. I have left email and voicemail. Have Noelle respond to my email and I will send back what was pulled out by your technician. I will not be charged for equipment I cannot use and have service with!

I left a review in March of 2020. My install was left unfinished. It's now August and I still don't have my outdoor camera. I can't even wrap my head around this. The nerve these guys have. I've called, text and emailed them for months with no reply back. I've also found numerous complaints of the same nature. It cracks me up that Ritchie responds to the GREAT reviews that are posted in here but fails to respond to the customers that have real issues.
He has costed me money. I could have been saving on my home owners insurance for the past 5 months but the job isn't complete and the insurance needs a certificate of completion. I'm honestly hear to warn others. I don't want you to go through the frustration that I have. I can't recommend Clear Protection Usa Beware the trade shows. That's where we signed up with them. Make this right Ritchie Davis.

Really, really good at taking people's money. I spent over $2,000 having security cameras installed months back, during which time I asked about warranty and was reassured that they would come back out if I had any issues. Now it's been close to 3 weeks that I've been trying to make contact; several voicemails, phone calls to the owner, texts to the owner (see attached photo, he gives this number to clients).
I have not received any correspondence whatsoever. The issue that I'm having is because they cut corners when they came to do the install. Absolute garbage and obviously they don't stand behind their work. They were totally available when I was ready to give them my business, not at all now that I have an issue. No ethics, no accountability. I encourage everyone to take their issues with this company to the BBB.

I was referring to clear protection by Jim G who is the owner of JPG Home Security and Consulting. The owner of Clear protection Richie D is not accountable. He set up appointments with me and never show up. No communications at all. I can't believe how people take care of their business, totally waste my time. Be aware!

If I could give them negative stars I would. This is by far the WORST company EVER. I contracted with them in Feburary, 2020, Ritchie Davis took 100% of the payment for the entire job. Today is May 8, 2020 and my job is still not complete. I have contacted them numerous times and still no response or service. I needed a full house security system and video doorbell. Let's start with the video doorbell the very first time it was pushed it fell off.
Now everytime the doorbell is pushed it falls off, not to mention that it doesn't ring in the house. When I asked about it, I was told to carry my phone with me. What, who carries their phone with them when in there home all the time? I have security panels that go off in the middle of the night for no reason and wake everyone up, I have doors that are not hooked up to the security system.
If all of this is not bad enough I am signed up for central monitoring. How do you monitor a home that you cannot secure. My advise is to AVOID AVOID AVOID this company. They will not fix my system, nor return my money. I have no choice but to take them to court.

I am so glad we decided to go with Clear Protection! Customer service was impeccable and so is the quality of their products! My car was broken into in my driveway and I decided I needed to finally get video monitoring and I'm so glad I did. The video quality is outstanding & the products are all user friendly which is a plus! I feel at peace knowing our home is protected. Will definitely recommend!

I had thought seriously about getting a home security system when my husband began hunting. He spends days at a time out in the woods and I never really felt safe at home alone at night. I love that the stay feature on my home security system allows me to keep the system activated yet move about freely throughout the house.

Stay Away! Met the company at the Home show I simply asked if they would provide a quote for the same equipment I was considering with a different reputable alarm company They took done my phone number and address on the new home I was purchasing. They proceeded with a Hard Credit Inquiry without my knowledge or permission Caused my credit score to dip 5 points overnight and cost me a higher interest rate. Be careful

I always thought that people selling home security systems were just basically scammers who wanted to take my hard earned money and run. I actually turned down the salesman the first time that I met him because I thought that he was just another scammer. I never actually thought that my well-kept neighborhood warranted a home security system. I was wrong.

I already have a security system. Have had it for about 6 years. Someone came by (his card said Joe Arias, Regional Manager), and gave the impression he was with my current alarm company but asked if he could switch out my existing signs with the "new" ones. He also said he was there to change the batteries in my sensors and had to change out my keypad.
The reason, which he didn't give, is because a new company doesn't have the codes to re-program the key pad. He noticed my bumper stickers and said he wouldn't even charge me the $29.95 per month, "since I am a military veteran". It was when I told him my son-in-law owned the company that installed my alarms and I wanted to discuss this with him that he suddenly said he had to go and to call if I wanted them to come by to do the aforementioned. That's because he had nothing to do with my existing equipment or service and wanted to get a new contract.
I call that deceptive advertising. But I'm not a lawyer. The toll free number on the card was 800 950-0878. He told me he had just came out from Detroit to oversee the Tucson accounts.

I love my home and my inground pool but I have always worried that my young children would find their way into the backyard without my knowledge. One of the features that I absolutely love about our home security system is the door chime feature. This feature lets us know whenever the doors are open which is a must with my young son.
