Garage Door Solutions is owned and operated by Letua Letuligasenoa. He spent several years of training and service with one of the largest premier garage door manufacturers in the country. He quickly and skillfully picked up the trade and became very knowledgeable about garage door systems and business in general.
With drive and determination he decided to branch out on his own. He founded Garage Door Solutions on the precept that his company would go above and beyond where he found even the most prevalent companies could go. A family man, with integrity and strong values, Letua is dedicated to his customers as well as his employees.

I contacted them in early May because the garage door would close partially then open. I was surprised when I returned home and the garage door was open. So I contacted this company and told them the issue. They asked all sorts of questions about the operation and problem itself. I'm not a garage door tech so I explained as much as possible, but isn't it your job to figure it out?
I scheduled for someone to come out but had to change the intial date. I gave a week advance notice and the person said it was ok. On the canceled date, I get call from the development rep saying the garage door company is there to fix the door. I was at work and noy available. I was not happy and I called back the office. I speak to another rep and she asks me to diagnose as much as possible for her so she has better idea for the tech.
And to take notes about when it isn't working and if it has more issues at night, and etc, etc. Why am I doing your technician's job? I am now getting frustrated and ask for someone to come out. The rep apologized and said they would send someone next day. Suddenly, an old lady answers and then says that they can send someone next week. I asked what happened to next day and she puts me on hold, then says that they have technicians out next week and that the date given is when they can come out.
I tell her that the days she provided are not going to be acceptable because I have to work. She asks me when I am available and I give her a date two weeks away. She says that I am scheduled. Last week, I received a message from the company saying that the tech would show up on the day the old lady wanted to send a person, a date I was not available.
I leave a message demanding that the date agreed by both parties is the date I am available. At this point, I have little faith in this company, but this is who New Home chose to install the garage doors. I call and say I was confirming the appointment for the next day to get my door fixed. The same old lady says that a technician is available now. That's great for you, I am not available so tomorrow is what we agreed to.
Then this woman continues to try and get me to have someone go to my house when I am not home, to allow them in to fix the garage. Forget the fact that you have given a person very little to trust, how is he going to get in to open the non-functional door? I tell them to just send the tech on the agreed date. Then someone named Laura answers the phone and says that she will "try" to get someone to come out tomorrow.
What in the?!? So you ignore the appointment set and now you do me a favor of "trying" to get your tech out maybe late afternoon, she doesn't know when, they will call 30 minutes prior to confirm.not even cable installation is this bad. It's a bad joke of back in the days when they give you 9-5 around that time. It goes to show how inexperienced this company and/or their Ethos "the customer will go on our schedule.
Ignore the customer." Guess once they make their sale to the builder, it becomes inconvenient for them to have to listen to the end results of their "job well done". We'll see if they keep the appointment. Not going to be surprised if they don't, in fact it would be a shock if they do show up. All I can say is, if this the type of service from a actual customer, I wonder if the service is better for potential or worse. I haven't read the other reviews. This is my side of the story, I hope no one else has to deal with this company.

We would like to say Thank you for a job Very Well Done. We placed one telephone call to have our garage door replaced and Poof, everything was taken care of in a very professional manner. From the measuring, to the scheduling of the installation date, to the actual installation date. Your prompt and timely service was more than what was expected.

Had an emergency with my garage door where the cord came off and some wheels came loose. Door wouldn't close and was completely messed up. This of course happened around 8:00pm on a Wednesday night. The door was fairly new and I called the company that installed it. They were of course closed and weren't able to help until the morning. I needed to get this fixed so I tried Garage Door Solutions. They had someone out within an hour and fixed the door right up! Excellent service and really came through for me. Highly recommended! Thanks!

This is the second or third time we have used these guys and they are great! The service guy, Abel or Angel, was on time, worked fast and was careful with my freshly refinished garage floor. And the bill was very reasonable, $234, especially after having San Diego Overhead Doors quote me $700 for the same thing! And he even serviced our smaller door for free! The lady who answers the phones and schedules the appts sounds a little scattered at times, but she's very nice and gets the job done.

I highly recommend Garage Door Solutions. The top panel of my garage with windows bent and cracked preventing me from closing the garage. I called another company first and they said my garage door was discontinued and I needed to replace the whole thing. When I asked if just the top panel could be replaced they said it was not an option. Then I called Tua at Garage Door Solutions.
He sent out Abel the following day. Abel confirmed my door was discontinued but said they may be able to locate just the top panel. The next day Tua was able to locate a replacement panel from the original manufacturer but it was pricey. Tua gave me the option of replacing the entire door for not much more and his price for a new door was way less than the other company. 2 days later Abel showed up on time and installed a beautiful new door. They did a great job and saved me money.

SeaCountry Homes and Garage Door Solutions has built a lasting relationship this past year at our Hidden Gate project located in San Bernardino County. I dare any competitor in the garage door game to compare their customer service to the high level of customer service that Tua Letuligasenoa and his staff provide at Garage Door Solutions.

Recently, I purchased a home built about 20 years ago, and it was desperately in need of a new garage door. I researched on-line, visited Home Depot, and even asked a few neighbors. In the mail, I received a flyer about Garage Door Solutions. Some of the neighbors in our community had also used this company, and I had seen their truck driving around town.

I had a great experience with this company! Had an emergency with a garage door (the cord came off the pulley). I called at about 2:30pm and received a call back within 5 minutes. Abel came out (after a long day and a call in El Cajon) and fixed my garage door. There was no "after hours" fee, no "emergency call" fee, just straight out honesty. He quoted me the repair cost after taking a look at the door and was finished in under an hour! He's out of the North County branch, but was kind, honest and really did a great job!

Garage door springs and cable wire needed adjustment - did show up on time in the evening and corrected the problem -- the door was just off a little bit on one side which I noticed once there was adequate morning light -- called and the technician did return but said 'that's because of the slant of the garage floor, funny how it wasn't like that prior and to top it all off -- another $35 furl charge! Would not use them again.

Our Garage door failed to open one morning, and it was a bear to open and get our cars out. Called Garage Door Solutions, and they promptly came out, the same day, and diagnosed the problem and provided a very reasonable estimate. After approving the estimate, they did the work, in a very timely manner, job area was very clean and the job turned out great. Leuta the owner came out a month later to adjust and check on things & provide lubrication of all the joints and hinges and made sure everything was right.
If you want it done right, call Leuta at Garage Door Solutions. They are prompt, courteous and professional, and most of all they are the best! They are highly recommended, and I will recommend to all my friends.
