Service will be required at some point in the life of every pool. Whether equipment fails or your pool has a cosmetic issue, immediate attention is often needed. The technicians at Crown Pools understand this. We strive to provide prompt service with integrity. We want your experience to be pleasant, both with your pool and with us.
Water Features

Water features can bring a whole new dimension to your backyard pool. From something like a simple deckjet to a more extravagant feature like a natural waterfall, the concept of moving water attracts attention and gets people talking. By incorporating water features into your poolscape, you'll not only add an artistic element, but more depth and character, as well.

Have you always felt those steps should be in a different place? Wished your pool was a few feet wider, deeper, or another shape altogether? How would you like to add an inviting spa to soak sore muscles at the end of a long day? Or kid-friendly amenities like the new breed of slides, hidden grottos, or swim-up bars to make your kids' house the neighborhood hang-out spot?

Steel Panel Pools

Steel-panel pools, or package pools, are less labor intensive than concrete pools and are a less expensive method of construction. Traditionally, inground pools feature reinforced walls with vinyl liners. While rectangular pools are the most common, L-shaped, freeform and other shapes are also available.

Great experience. Very cheap and staff is amazing. I recommend Family Friday if you are going with little kids. The changing room have cubicles and you get a lot of privacy when changing. The water was warm and the staff didn't rushed us out even if we stayed quite late. Our little one loved the slide and the wave machine.

This is regarding service only. We suspected the tech wasn't doing much with maintenance, as the pool consistently had significant debris and a bit of algae on the walls, but we but kept excusing things and thinking perhaps we were too picky. However one day after his visit, our chlorine levels didn't even register on our Taylor test kit.
I knew right then and there the $200 per month cost was essentially money down the drain and we needed to cancel them. In all fairness the management did try and offer to come out and fix it, but at $200/month? I'm not interested in having to supervise employees to make sure they do the basics. We had such a great experience with the pool installation.
We had this issue a few years ago as well and cancelled. We figured it was worth trying again. This time was so much worse. If you're prepared to watch over the tech to make sure they do the basics it's probably fine. For us, that ends up making it no longer a timesaver. Might as well diy. At least I know I'll try to get the chemicals right. I'm not bothering to try to recover the money that essentially went towards nothing, and I almost didn't post this, but it felt irresponsible not to warn others to keep their guard up. Here's hoping that should you move forward, you have a better experience! Crown team- Again, we looooved our install, but I'd seriously exam who you have representing you from a service perspective.

I use to attend the pool as a student at then Woolverstone Hall school (now Ipswich high school). We use to attend every week. It was such a nice trip out! I met a girl called Louise here, and had fond romantic memories of her. I really liked her! Thanks to Crown Pools! (PS I am not in denial as bisexual)

Not a good experience in terms of disability access (not just physical). When I first visited the staff were not helpful relating to access. As I was leaving I overheard another disabled person having issues - I felt like it was enough to cement my initial opinion. Inside was not particularly clean and I felt glad to go home and have a shower

The icard is great value for money in my opinion. I'm subbed to the 22 'Gym and Swim' package that might seem steep compared to private gym prices however it entitles me to discounts across multiple sports centers, utilise their facilities, access to fitness classes, can swim in multiple pools in and around the Town and many more benefits. Staff seem helpful and friendly and the Gym staff in particular are great and helpful if you're unsure how to use something or seeking advice. I'm having fun and losing weight. Would highly recommend to anybody wanting to shake Christmas and January blues! Big up IBC and pubically owned facilities and services. 5*s

I enjoy taking my children here but the water was really dirty making me think twice about coming back. I saw at least 4 used plasters float past of differing sizes and colours, a clump of hair entangled in my hand, an elastic hair band bobbed in the water along with several coloured paper wrist bands that get issued on entry.

Facilities are amazing, but! Website is absolutely terrible, myself and others this morning turned up early thinking "opens at 7:30am" means the pool is actually open. The website showed last week's DAYS but drop downs for times were just empty boxes. As mentioned myself and others mentioned this at reception and the lady just whipped out her phone to say "well it's working now".
Super helpful. Also, last time I came there were loads of floats and things out, even though it was very quiet this morning, I asked a lifeguard if I could use a float for my kid, he turned and asked a slightly older teenager who just said "no, sorry, different rules on half term", what for floats? In the training pool. I asked how would I find out when the floats are being used "check the website before you come", the website that hasn't been updated since lockdown was lifted. Great! Again, excellent facilities, but the staff are completely unhelpful jobsworths who need a lesson in customer services. And whoever manages the website needs to sort it out.

I am so disappointed with Crown pools. This used to be such a lovely swimming pool and it has all the facilities there to be amazing. I did not mind waiting 45 minutes to get in as I appreciate they are busy, what I did not appreciate is the pool being absolutely filthy. There were bits of plastic and black clumps of dirt all in the pool and the life guards were all miserable and did not do anything to keep the pool and surrounding areas clean. I did see a cleaner in the changing rooms but the floors were really filthy and it smelt of urine.

Life gards all look miserable. Got some weird security gards watching from above. No cannonballs witch i get but telling kids of for spinning while jumping in is pathetic! Can't dive cant jump in with your knees bent. Basically fun for kids is band! None of the fetures work in the pool. Only aloud to swim in the sectiond off part of the pool and due to covid now its only n hour n a half in the pool before you are kicked out.not long enough for kids to enjoy a day at the pool and not worth going in my opinion. Save your money and disappointment and go to colchester.

My wife and I purchased an 18' above ground pool from the Dallas location around 2 years ago. I can say that the customer service at both the Allen location and Dallas was amazing. They were excited to sell us a pool, and catered to us during the purchase. Well, after we bought the pool things took a change. My wife and I had questions as would any first time pool owner.
What chemicals do we use, how often, etc. We would bring in routine water samples, either at Allen or Dallas. Everytime we did so, we would get a completely different set of chemicals to use in our mineral pool. Every time we spoke with an associate or manager, it was a different direction on what to put in our pool. We were sold over $200 in pool chemicals, only to be told later, we were sold the wrong stuff.
The manager apologized and said it's new staff that was hired. Ok, no problem, I've been a retail manager for 25+ years. I get it, but credit me and let me get the chemicals I should have gotten. Nope, no offer to take care of it. Just purchase the new chemicals. Absolutely ridiculous! The Allen location manager I spoke with made it good.
She refunded the chemicals the Dallas location should have done to begin with. Fast forward to this season, and I'm needing a new ionizer replacement cell for my mineral pool. Dallas location says in store to my wife and I that they are out of stock, but a female manager that was the would be bringing some to the store. Give them my name and number and they will call me when it's in.
No phone call. I called to follow up and it's a short "no" we don't have it. No offer to help locate one or explain why I was never called. I call Allen today, August 7th in the morning. A gentleman says he needs to ask his GM, and he promised he would call me back, being he knew Dallas never returned my call. Guess what? He never bothered to return my call.
All I'm trying to do is get the proper pool supplies from the supplier I purchased my pool from, and they don't seem to care at all about my wife and I, as customers. It's always a different answer. Just go back and forth between the two stores and ask several employees and you'll get different answers every time. Why can't we just get a correct answer with what to use for our pool?
Why is it after we purchased our pool, Crown doesn't seem to care at all? It's beyond ridiculous that I have to go through this much trouble to spend money with this company. When you as employees of Crown tell a customer you will call them back, do so! Two different Crown Pools in two days and nobody there can be bothered. I found my Nature's Pure ionizer replacement cell online finally and ordered it there. Would like to have purchased it with Crown, unfortunately they couldn't be bothered. John & Andrea C.

Used to love the store in Allen. The manager, Julie quit, and everything went to hell. I watched some guy insult another customer just because she said she wanted what she bought last time, and it was in the computer. He smirked at her, and told her he knew what he was doing. She kept saying "this isn't what I want". My turn. My water was tested, and he told me I need to add 2 cups of muratic acid.
Nothing else. Dude, it's a 500 gallon hot tub. I want the same stuff I always get. Well, the computer is down. He didn't offer to sell me anything. that would have taken effort. I called the Plano store from the parking lot to ask "wtf?" No one ever called back. At the rate they are going, this place just can't stay open long.

I was very pleased with how I was treated inside of Crown Pools. Their service was PHENOMENAL. One young woman in particular was extremely helpful. She helped me find the right chemicals for my pool, as well as recommended a few others that may be good if the first options didn't seem suitaband so far they have worked great. My pool has remained remarkably clear over this quarantine with little maintenance to it. She also helped me carry my purchases into my vehicle. If I remember correctly her name was Kylie.

Had them perform a repair, and that went well. Asked for quote on weekly maintenance, and they were highest of the bids, even though they are closer than the other companies that bid lower than them. Asked for pool resurface quote. Took them a long time time to contact me. Person came out and was pleasant. Committed to having a quote to me by the following Tuesday.
The following Monday after the commitment, heard from them and they apologized for missing the commitment and said they would have it to me in two more days, i.e. eight days after their commitment. Went with someone else for the resurfacing.

Here is a picture of our pool. Second time this month it has turned green. This time because it has been 2 weeks since they have been here! We have been using this service for 3 years now but the service has definitely gone down hill. This summer inconsistent service. We've had to call the office several times this month. Will be changing if the service does not improve!

Had been using Crown for supplies for about 2 years. Nothing special, average pricing and usually had chemicals in stock. Unfortunately, if you would like service this is not a responsive nor customer service oriented company (Julie in particular). Called, emailed, texted (smoke signals) trying to get someone to provide an estimate on pool service.
First it was "oh, we don't have your messages", then it was "let me schedule it for you now". Nothing. Again, I keep trying (this can't be right) and I get "we sent it to you did you not get it?". After nearly 3 weeks I'll go somewhere else and either utilize another company to provide pool service or continue to do it myself AND get my supplies from somewhere else as well.

L am totally amazed with my experience this past week. I cannot to tell you how painless the process of selecting, buying, installing and having a deck built around my pool has been by working with Crown Pools. To top it all off, I was actually swimming with my family in the pool within the same week it was started. My neighbor has a Crown pool and recommended that I give you a call.

I started using Crown Pools a little more than a year ago. I had an issue with the chlorinator, and they were able to do it cheaper and faster than the other store in town. Micheal, the service tech, came out, replaced the sensor, and answered all of my questions. He's been out a couple times since for some minor and one major repair (replaced the spa heater). He's always very friendly, very knowledgeable, and very helpful.
He never tries to sell me more than what I need and even offers advice on how I can repair things myself. Ever since, I have gone to the store for water tests, chemicals, and any thing else I may need. Today, I noticed that my filter pump was not working. I know they are usually booked out for about a week, but since it was the pump and I was going to be out of town for a few days, I decided to go to the store to schedule the appointment. Michael happened to be at the store and overheard my conversation with Julie, who's always helpful, as with all the staff at the store. Michaels suggested the capacitor may be bad, told me how to remove it (safely), so that I could bring it back to get tested.
Sure enough, when I brought it back, Julie tested it and it was bad. On top of it all, they gave me a used capacitor and didn't even charge me! What!? I got home, replaced it, and my pump is working! Now, I can leave town without worrying about coming back to a green pool! I am a Crown Pool customer for life!

I just wanted to let you know we are extremely happy with our Crown Pool. Buying the 41x 21 sized pool was our first smart move. We wanted a pool large enough for plenty of kids and adults. We also wanted lots of room to exercise. Sinking it in the ground with a deep end was our second smart move. We are really making good use of it.

We are so pleased with our pool and the service from Crown Pools! We initially did a phone consultation and then followed up with an in-store visit. Both consultations were pressure free and Cameron & Kyle were very knowledgeable about the products. We were able to make our selection with confidence and have the pool installed in 6 days.

Not very helpful. I went to buy a metal scrub brush and treatments for our hot tub that had a previous white water mold problem. Salesperson said they never heard of it. Also was searching for a return jet plug because my Polaris has a slow RPM. Once again salesperson didn't know what I was talking about. I bought the metal brush -- only a $16 purchase.
I was prepared to get all my needs met and spend close to $100. Instead I'll go back to Leslie's where the staff is more knowledgeable and helpful. Also confusing store displays, no pricing on shelves or products. Since they are so highly rated for pool service I thought I would really get some good advice but left disappointed

Best pool maintenance company around. Talbot and his team are very knowledgable, and have the expertise to tackle any pool problem. They saved my pool ( which was left in a terrible mess by our previous pool guy) and we have hired Crown pools to take care of our weekly cleanings and pool equipment maintenance. We have been doing business for more than one year now, and we are very happy with their service!

Bought a pool from Crown Pools this year and had it installed. Great job by everyone involved. Julie did a phenomenal job explaining all the different pools, equipment and pricing that were available. After we made our decision it was ordered. We had JH Pool and Deck install the pool. Great job. They also build our porch/deck. It's beautiful.
We are using Crown Pool's pool service. The pool is 'Pristine'. We are using the Pristine Blue system. Great Stuff! No chlorine smell or chlorine in the swimsuits. Good Stuff. So, kudos to Crown Pools and JH Pool and Deck. I recommend both to anyone looking to get a pool and/or deck/porch.

Very nice employees. Free water analysis. Their maintenance guy made a home repair visit and after dropping by told me nothing was broken, just needed a missing part, so he did not charge anything for the repair. Prices are higher than online, but cheaper than Leslies. I will continue to buy what I can here unless the online prices are far lower. They also have free water analysis if you bring in a sample. Lastly they seem to be able to get 90% of parts in their shop next day if they don't have it in stock when you visit.
