To understand why we started New Leaf Pest Control, you need to understand a little about the pest control industry. It can be shady at times. Scare tactics and bait-and-switch sales methods are often used to drive up sales at the expense of hard working home owners. Working in the industry myself and later in management, I observed these tactics being used and even saw them encouraged in the field.I also saw a real lack of customer service, leaving customers "nickel and dimed" and frustrated. Somewhere along the way I realized that the Portland and Vancouver area needed a better option for pest control services.

Amazing service! Not only did I get an appointment quickly, they are available on Saturday's which is great for M-F work schedules. Corey was thorough and patient, as we had a lot of questions. Cory came by and trapped 6 squirrels in our attic. He cleaned the gutters, sprayed in anti-squirrel stuff, and patched the roof in two places (including one giant patch where the squirrels set up a condo in our attic), and trimmed some branches to make it harder for squirrels to reach our roof. It was at a very inexpensive price and Cory was an outstanding guy. And it came with a 2 year guarantee. If the squirrels come back, we'll be calling New Leaf again.

We have a nuisance beaver in one of our larger wet retention ponds causing some maintenance concerns. New Leaf, specifically Cory McCollum, has provided exceptional service. We had a Bring Your Child to Work Day and thought it would be important to have a nature component and thought beavers would provide an interesting focus.
