Blake now moved to Burlingame from Buncrana, a small town in the north of Ireland, in 2000, and he's been in San Francisco since 2002. An electrician since 1997, Blake studied electrical engineering back in Ireland and worked as an electrician for several large companies before moving to the States.Once here, he continued to work for large operations, but ultimately sought his own slice of the pie. "I was pretty high up in other companies, but got burnt off doing the dog work for others when I knew I could do it better myself, " he told us. Pauric Electric started doing business in 2008, just when the recession was hitting the hardest.

We've done two whole apartment remodel projects with Pauric and have only good things to say. Blake is a great guy, quick thinking, able to brainstorm creative solutions, easy to work with. He is fast, often getting work done ahead of schedule, and offers great advice about how to plan and execute the project. He's flexible when things don't go according to plan, but he was never the cause for a delay. Blake, Amanda and their whole team are friendly, funny, and constantly doing the impossible. Highly recommend them.

Blake and his team always come through. Blake will go out of his way to accommodate you on short notice (and when you have a rental, that is priceless.) From small jobs, like adding outlets, to larger ones (adding recessed lighting) I can count on them. They are excellent electricians, honest, and their prices very reasonable, PLUS their attitude is always positive and cheerful. (But I shouldn't tell you this, I should keep them all to myself!) :)

I've worked with Pauric Electric on two separate occasions and I couldn't be happier with the work and experience! Blake and his team are the best around. They are professional, personable, and incredibly good at the work they do. They installed huge chandeliers and a bunch of recessed lights for us and it's perfect. I love these guys!

Pauric was great. He was very thoughtful in his consultation appointment, giving us great ideas that we hadn't really considered. His quote was very fair, and his confidence in achieving what we thought would be (and were told by others to be) a tricky job, sold us. He and his crew were fast and efficient, and the job took less time to complete than what we were expecting. A very personable guy. I will definitely call Pauric for any future electrical needs.

Blake from Pauric was a pleasure to work with. I needed my electric baseboard to be replaced as it was old and noisy. He came out quickly and gave me a quote and did the work in a timely fashion. Unfortunately the new heater was noisy; He replaced the noisy one with a new one which was noisy too! He willingly replaced that one too with a different brand that works fine and is quiet!

If you need an electrician - for simple or complex jobs - this is the guy to hire! I live in a high rise residential complex in SF, Blake promptly returned my call and we scheduled a meeting. The first time he came over, he tackled & remedied a lighting installation 'nightmare' that two other electricians couldn't solve.

This is my second experience with his services and I was very impressed with how quickly he was able to install a new outlet, detect, and repair an electric wire that cut the electricity in my family room.

Another great experience with Blake. Was having some problems with a faulty outlet and gave Blake a call. He said he was actually just down the street, and could stop by in a few minutes. Minutes later he was at our door and problem resolved a few minutes after that. Once again, great service, great response time, and we'll definitely be using him again for our electrical needs.

Blake and is crew did the agreed upon work in a very reasonable amount of time. Beyond the work itself, they cleaned up the mess made from having to cut into the drywall to snake a wire. They were also kind about answering my questions (about alternate ways to do the job during the quote and random electrical questions when they had things opened up).
