A 24 Electric

Helped me out tremendously, early on a Sunday morning. Based on my description, my new friend at A 24 Electric determined the only thing wrong was a tripped circuit breaker, and helped me sort it out over the phone. We'll definitely be calling A 24 the next time anything goes wrong. Thanks!

We had our kitchen counter outlets replaced and rewired by A24 after new countertop installation. We were very happy with the speed and quality of work. Multiple lighting issues resolved within one hour including the installation of two new fixtures! Eddy with A24 Electric is excellent! He was willing to fit our jobs in and acame over promptly and took care of business. If we could do a bonus sixth star we would for his awesome advice and recommendations on piano instructors for our son! Would definitely call him again for any electric projects that go beyond changing a light bulb in our house.

Eddie is incredible. We had an emergency panel repair need and Pge turned off power. I sent Eddie photos and explained our problem and he made time to squeeze us in that day. He is an extremely experienced and knowledgeable electrician with impressive problem solving skills and work arounds and he also know his way around the ever changing policies of SF and PGE. We had to have a meter base replaced, not as simple as one would think. He is my go to electrician now and I highly recommend him.

We realized the refrigerator in the garage was not working and tried to troubleshoot it. We have a lot of extra food in the freezer so needed to move fast. It turned out the outlet was dead so we tried to reset it and flipped the breaker. Nothing worked so we called Eddie who requested a photo of the main panel. He called me back a little while later and walked me through a series of steps and voil, the light turned green and the refrigerator started humming again!

All of this free of charge! It's really nice to know that there are still good people out there that will try to help out of the kindness of their heart. Eddie seemed like a genuinely nice guy and we are so appreciative. We absolutely will call them first for any electrical needs!

I called Eddy after typical business hours in hopes that someone could help me get my power back in my apartment. Other power companies said they couldn't help for an entire week! We decided to replace some very old outlets and wiring during kitchen remodel while the walls were open. A24 responded quickly with an estimate from pictures, and was able to complete the work the next day. It was great to get it done so quickly so we could continue our project and close the walls.

I'm so appreciative of Eddie, who immediately answered my panicked phone call to him today after I shorted some circuit in my house. Eddie was calm and patient with me and, on the phone, helped me figure out what was wrong and how to reset the circuit breakers and fix the problem. He looked at photos of my breaker panel and walked me through the process of resetting it, and problem solved AND for this he charged me nothing! I had a problem with my circuit breaker, so I called Eddie. He answered the phone right away on a Sunday and asked me clearly what was the problem. He asked me to send a photo of the circuit breaker panels, and instructed me to fix the problem at no charge! The problem was fixed quickly and he called me back to make sure everything was ok. Our wired smoke alarms - started going off at 8 pm, despite having the right batteries and a ladder to get to them all (vaulted ceiling) nothing worked. Eddie walked me through safety steps remotely to turn off power and remove them to stop the beeping. Outstanding service and advice, and saved me and my spouses sanity. Exceptional service, and caring!

Had a electric switch in garage that was audibly making a sizzling noise when turning on or off so i quickly went to yelp and looked for an electrician and luckily found Eddie/A 24 Electric! I explained the problem to Eddie and sent a picture of the switch that needed replacement. He stated that he could be there between 4-5 pm which was fine with me but awhile later i got a call from Eddie stating that he could be there by 2 pm!

He promptly arrived 15 min early and quickly went about replacing the switch quickly and efficiently. I will be calling A 24 Electric back for some other work that i have been waiting on til i found a reliable and experienced electrician. Steve P

More than that, he clearly explained the problem to me, was upfront about the cost, and walked me through every step to make sure I understood what was he was doing. He was able to resolve the issue. However, he will add costs wherever he can such as a $40 processing fee. for using a credit card. I just saw the response to my above comment. The concerns are much greater than I previously expressed.

I wish I had read more reviews before hiring Eddie. Unfortunately I didn't get to the ones about him overcharging. I hired him to provide and replace 2 outside motion sensor lights, repair an outdoor junction box and replace a dimmer switch in one of the bedrooms. All simple stuff. He was there for 1 hour and 45 minutes and charged $1680. That includes $95 dollars for a dimmer switch and $45 for an LED lightbulb.

He didn't list the price of the the outside lights on the invoice but assuming they were $80 each that is $1360 for labor - or about $700 an hour. He charged $295 to show up (and $65 for travel) and then $295 for each thing he did, no matter how small eg replace a dimmer switch. I was so stunned I paid him, but then I began to feel very ripped off.

I texted him and told him that and he called. He reduced the price to $1000 and said he would send me a check. The check never arrived. I texted him again. This time he sent me the $680 via Venmo. I still ended up paying $1000 for a job that should have cost far less. It also caused me a lot of unnecessary stress. Not recommended.

Eddie is an electrical genius. He figured out the complicated problem right away, helped pg and e to solve it and saved us a lot of money. Absolutely amazing service.

Eddie was truly fantastic. I blew a fuse and thought we needed someone to come out and fix it. But he was so kind and walked me through everything on the phone and fixed the issue. He was very patient and kind and I am so grateful.

Exemplary service! Eddie is the top in his field and his work is exceptional! I had peace of mind hiring Eddie to inspect a series of old transformers that run my recess lighting. He even taught me how transformers work and what to look for. Recently, he fixed a few of my malfunctioning exterior electrical outlets. He installed new wiring, outlets and conduits. Eddie is a master at diagnosing complex electrical issues. Always patient answering all my questions while explaining work he completed. You will be happy you hired Eddie for your electrical needs. Eddie was very honest and helpful. He solved my problem over the phone with no charge. I will certainly call him first next time I need an electrician. FYI, my circuit breaker tripped, but the switch only moved a little bit from the 'on' position, so I thought it was just mis-aligned. Turns out there is a 'tripped' and an 'off' position. Next time your outlets don't work, take a close look at your breakers before calling anyone.

Eddie is amazing, he gets top marks. I had some temporary power setup on my construction site, and it kept shorting. Eddie walked me through the issue over the phone, saving me a site visit. Sometimes these issues are pretty simple, I just needed thicker gauge extension cords on-site. But electrical issues can be scary for those of us who don't know the ins and outs. Eddie alleviated all of my concerns, talked me through the setup for about 10 minutes, and I haven't had any issues since. Thanks Eddie!

Eddie did an excellent job on my home. Eddie got all the permits taken care of and knew what the inspector would be looking for. A 24 Electric did a big job at my house and completed it in a timely manner, trustworthy fair and fast with service! Would highly recommend to anyone requiring a skilled electrician.

Eddie is amazing, this guy knows exactly what he's talking about and is very honest and straightforward. He is very personable and gave honest estimates. Even if it's a small jobs he was able to share and help over the phone. I would highly recommend him as he is certified and knows exactly how to diagnose and fix any issues. Eddy is a literal godsend! While other places cost $200 just to send an electrician out on an urgent basis, Eddy walked me through the relatively simple problem with my fuse box- for free! Eddie helped diagnose and fix an issue with the garbage disposal over the phone, intentionally saving an expensive house visit for what would have been a trivial problem. Eddie was super responsive and patient while walking through steps to address, and we got everything working again in 10-15 min. A 24 will be my first call for electrical issues in the future.

Wow! Eddie is truly a master of his craft, not to mention extremely down to earth, patient, and intelligent. Because of his careful explanations, attention to detail, and patience to fix what seemed like a never- ending mix of problems, He was able to resolve the situation quickly, safely and effectively. even taking the time to share with us important basics in electricity!

Not to mention, my problem resulted in needing PG&E and Eddie not only spoke to them on the phone several times, but waited with me for them to show up and explain the situation. I called Eddie in a panic because my outlets blew out and nothing I did worked. He walked me through a few different options for how to fix it but nothing worked. Before heading over, he called me one more time to double check and walking through it one more time, the power came back on. I was so thankful that he was willing to help me over the phone for free! He is now my go-to electrician.

Wonderful safe and elegant electric work! Timely repairs, cleanly done, safety first and fairly priced, what more could one ask when ones electrical starts to act up. Referred by a co worker, A 24 Electric & Solar patiently answered all of our questions on the phone and arrived in short order, after looking over our electrical issues he set to work to get us safely back up and running.

Eddie is the MAN! I can't say enough about this electrician. He came out on a Sunday on time and reset the wiring system so that our lights would turn on within about 15 minutes. And who can beat a free estimate? He explained the issues in a way so that I could understand what was wrong and what needed to be done.

Had an emergency at our very busy coffee roasting business, some years back, leaving us without power to the roaster. A 24 Hour Electric came across to the East Bay within a half hour and was able to get the roaster up and operating. We had minimal downtime and all of our orders were out the same day.
