I saw Vintage pool ad on social media site, I contacted company for appointment. I initially was interested in spa due to our family not being big swimmers. Noble came to home Dec 2,2021. He was very courteous, and listened to our ideas. He informed us he would take the paperwork back to office & someone would contact us to come in to discuss pricing/options.
I never heard back from anyone at Company. My neighbor built a pool using, BYOP.Build Your Own Pool. I contacted the company they responded immediately gave me everything I needed to start process. Basically you take the middle man out and work with subcontractor directly saving money. I received all my permits, started excavation 20 Jan 2021& by 9 Feb 2022 I started decking.
Less than 30 days I'm over halfway complete with pool. I was understanding with December having holidays of communication but we never received any update or quotes. Build Your Own Pool was the best decision I made for my family, no wait time, less money. I attached pictures to show the time process

Vintage Pools was great - it was slow at times between stages but it was understandable due to the amount of pools being build - but when it was all said and done our pool came out amazing. And the tiles and pavers they helped me pick out really made our pool stand out and is giving great value to our home. And questions through out the process was always answered - We are really enjoying our new pool :

My pool took 7 months to complete when I was given a time frame of 10 weeks. Their communication is horrible and I kept getting excuses on why it was everyone else's fault my pool wasn't done. Towards the end, they didn't finish the inspections and I ended up having to schedule my own inspections. I've had questions about my pool and leaks, but can't get anyone to return my calls or emails.
Even sent emails to the owner, Gary with no reply. Horrible company to deal with. My pool turned out nice though. Edit Response: this is definitely the right company, and it's been almost 3 years since I posted this. Thanks for finally reaching out

Please don't do business with Vintage Pools Las Vegas. Gary Verbano, the owner makes promises that he doesn't keep. Such as promising to remove the aluminum handrails and ladder steps and making a contemporary bench instead, only to later apologize and say "oops that wasn't in the plans, " This company fails at communicating when the sub contractors will be coming, even when we the owners are trying to make sure the employees don't meet our unfriendly dogs.
Their excuses were constant, "we are just too busy, and if the trades don't give us dates and times they will be available, then we can't provide that information to you the home owner". " We can only track the progress on new builds, remodels are too hard to schedule in advance". What are the customers supposed to do, just call out sick to work, and telling your employer, during the pandemic mind you, sorry my pool contractor needs me at home, so they can work on my pool?
It seemed as though Vintage Pools were doing us a favor, whenever we asked for something. Wow, really? Communication with your customers is too hard? Guess you better find a new line of work, if you expect repeat business. The ultimate icing on the cake was Gary Verbano's last communication with my wife. He stated that we had been the most difficult customer to deal with that they ever had. Again, wow.
I had read the help reviews about Vintage Pools before we signed our contract, and even though Vintage wasn't the cheapest bid we got, we decided to use them anyway, as we had been referred by a previous client, and because Gary really seemed genuine when we met in person on multiple occasions. I guess because ours was just a 29k remodel, and not a brand new 60k pool, we shouldn't be considered as a valuable customer and offered the same considerations for our time.
When Gary offers his rebuttal to this, keep in mind all of his previous yelp reviews as well as this one, and think long and hard before you make a mistake and then move on to an different pool contractor.

HORRIBLE COMPANY! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! BUYER BEWARE! LICENSE CANCELLED NOT RENEWED by Nevada State Contractors Board for NRS 624.3015(3) Entering into a contract with a contractor in excess of limit or beyond scope. Vintage refused to communicate construction timeline or status but HOUNDS customers for payments before stages of work are even completed.
Entire staff is hostile, argumentative and defensive when questioned on any phase of the project. Weeks went by without contact from them. I had to call repeatedly to find out when construction was scheduled. I was told this was their "slow season" so work would be timely. They never bothered to schedule any work unless I called first to ask. Constant employee turnover so there is absolutely no accountability for work schedule, quality or communication.
Every time there was a problem, the employees each blame each other or pass the buck to a subcontractor. When Subs were questioned, they said they never heard from Vintage. FACTS: I was sold a $9,800 in pool cleaner then told by Superintendent to "hire a pool guy." I was sold a intelligent pool system to control flow, temperature, lights, etc. from my smartphone, but then told by Superintendent "these never work!" I never was given any instruction on the start up of the pool or any of the components.
Then required to pay "1,000+ START UP fee" and threatened repeatedly with liens on my property. I paid more than $53,000 for pool/spa and was completely disrespected, cheated and frustrated. When I called the President (Gary Verbano) for help--he never returned my call. After several attempts, when I was able to speak with him--he hung up on me and refused any customer service.
Then Gary did take the time to call me back later TO CALL ME A LIAR because he claims to have spoken with his Superintendent who denied everything I told him. Their Superintendent is who gave me the referral for the "Pool Guy" for the start up service! I had to schedule the final phases of the job myself. I am on my own for all issues/questions/concerns.
None of the structural or design problems will be fixed. They will not honor the warranty. DO NOT USE VINTAGE POOL for anything. You will regret any interaction with them. I expected nothing more than the custom pool and spa I contracted and paid for along with reasonable customer service. I GOT NEITHER.

The pool they put in is beautiful, however the sub contractor for pouring concrete is horrible. The concrete around our outdoor kitchen that connects to the pool wall started cracking big time within 3 months of them pouring it. They came back at just smeared some concrete patch over it, and didn't texture it. Within 3 more months it cracked.
We can't get anyone at Vintage Pools to call us back and they won't give us the sub contractor so we can call them. We called when it retracted and evert two months for 8 months. We looked up our records and found we turned this problem in August. 2019. Still no word as of March 4, 2020

Teri was super helpful and informative! I love that Vintage offers more than just pools! There were so many options and varieties of materials for each area of our yard we are upgrading and she walked us through each item step by step until we before we knew it, we had designed the backyard of our dreams! We can't wait to get our backyard done with our very own pool! Summer can't come soon enough! Thank you Vintage Pools!

It was smooth sailing throughout the process. They answered all my questions and were super friendly whenever we spoke. My pool looks so amazing after the upgrades they did. It took a reasonable time to finish, but any time would have been worth how great my pool looks like now. Great staff, great workers.

Very happy with our pool. Starting with Hank and the design, he knew exactly what we wanted and guided us in the right direction. The rest of the team and owner Gary are a pleasure to work with. Every project has issues, but they fixed every one of them and communicated progress along the way. We have had a lot of people/workers to our home who have seen a lot of backyards, and the ALL say this is one of the most amazing pools they have seen. We have to agree. Would recommend them 100%!

I hear the frustration from some of the reviews. There was a time when I would have written a one star review but here are the facts. My pool was quoted 12 week construction. It turned into 16 weeks. I was so frustrated during the process so I did some research. Turns out that in Vegas there was a 20 fold increase in pool construction in 2018. Problem was the number of crews that do the construction didn't increase.
Same number of workers, 20 times the number of pools. In the end Vintage built me an amazing pool. The sub trades they hire are the best of the best. There was minor damage to my property during construction, they repaired it without even questioning it. They even touched up some paint that wasn't construction damage. It was a busy frustrating year for people having pools built.
But the team at Vintage is so professional, right from Hank the sales guy to the customer service to the field foreman even the owner were amazing. Yes I wanted my pool 4 weeks earlier but in the end the finished product was more than worth the wait. Thanks team Vintage, great job!

Zero Stars. This group does none of the pool construction themselves. Their only role is to coordinate other contractors, and manage the construction schedule. In this - they COMPLETELY FAILED. Our contract and deposit was in 12/2017 with a commitment of completing the pool in April 2018. The project sat idle for weeks at a time and only made progress when I came into their office to push for updates.
Pool was plastered in July 2018 and repairs/corrections were still being made in August. Worst customer service (office manager - Teri) I have experienced with a contractor in my life. Little to no communication about the status of the project or when schedules were changing. Materials ordered incorrectly, further delaying the project. And now we are in September and my skimmer is still installed 10 degrees out of square - no attempt was made to install it "level". UNETHICAL - FRAUD ALERT - Be careful about their $600 charge for a soils report.
I paid this, trustingly, at the start of the project, as it was explained that it was a requirement to obtain the building permit. 8 months later I asked for a copy of the soils report for another construction project I wanted to do at the house. Vintage pools replied - "oh, we checked with the building department and they said it was not required". When were you going to tell me about that? Similarly, invoices were sent out without accurate updates/revisions to the cost of the project.

Surprised to see all the negative reviews. We could not be happier with our pool. Hank was amazing. He spent HOURS with us (yes, I am that typical women and changed my mind countless times) but he was very patient. The drawing he gave us was spot on what our pool became (but even better in real life!). Was there delays along the way? Yes, but that has happened with every major home project we have done when there is a HOA, multiple contractors and weather factors.
That being said, we still finished in our timeline with the price we were promised. We are a year out and every time I text Hank he responds immediately and sends someone out if needed. We shopped around and they also had the best price we could find- so was very happy that the quality is what we hoped for. Since our pool went in- 2 of our neighbors have had their pools done by Hank and couldn't be happier. Here is our kiddos enjoying the pool: https://youtu.be/9_Yvedmpr9E

Wow, 4 months in to our project and we are still incomplete! Had our county inspection today and we didn't pass. How does Vintage Pools not know what the county is going to look for in an inspection? Very unprofessional! The delays, lack of communication and unprofessionalism are very concerning. I would avoid Vintage Pools at all costs!

If I could give negative stars I would. We contracted with vintage in July. It is now February and we still do not have a completed pool. We just received a release from them to sign before they will plaster that absolves them from ANY defects including discoloration, cracks, peels. Anything! Every single step had been a struggle with this company.
They have been dismissive and borderline rude and clearly have no motivation for pleasing their customers. We are paying four times what we paid for our pool in Florida and have been made to feel like pests. We are considering seeking avenues for recourse.

John Gurr was exceptional in all of my dealings with the re-plastering of our pool and installing a new Pentair pool light. He even gave me advice when he was on vacation! Not one time did he not answer my email or my phone calls. His crew was also exceptional. They were here on time, did the work professionally, and I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs a fabulous job done to re-plaster their pool!
In the last 10 years we haven't had a light in our pool (the fiber optic light burnt out and there were no parts to be found), so adding the new pool light has made the new blue quartz in the plaster sparkle and shine. Thank you, John!

Vintage pools is absolutely incredible! Fantastic, patient, professional and very courteous staff from the beginning until the end of the pool building process. They were so patient in creating a design that fit our needs and wants while trying to stay within our budgeted range. Now we have a beautiful pool that our family can enjoy! Thank you Hank, Jerry and the staff at Vintage for your fantastic work!

My pool is amazing! It is really a piece of art and the focal of my backyard. Vintage pools created exactly what I wanted. At first I was going to subcontract everyone to save money, until I met with Hank. The security of having someone knowledgeable just take care of everything is worth every penny. His foreman Jerry was there every step of the way. I had a million questions and they never made me feel like I was bothering them.

Vintage Pools was competitive, professional and reliable. They did an outstanding job during the difficult times to get anything built or remodeled correctly in the Las Vegas area that we are experiencing right now. The result is beautiful and functional. I will definitely go back to them next time.

From first contact the team at Vintage Pools was absolutely top notch. They helped with out tremendously with the design, were straight forward with pricing, and let us know exactly what to expect throughout the process. They even went the extra mile of working with our HOA for approval! And they did all this before we ever arrived in Las Vegas!

Tuck and I want to thank you for the really great job you did on our pool and spa. When we first met with you we had concerns that the small size of our backyard might prohibit us from creating a pool and spa that we'd love while at the same time leaving us enough space to really enjoy the rest of our yard.

I would like to stress my gratitude in building my pool. Upon buying my home in Henderson I re-constructed many aesthetic aspects of the home. Adding a pool was one of them; however Vintage Pools was the only contractor I did not have any problems with. You came out on time. You scheduled your services and completed them at the time you said you would.

Our entire experience with Vintage Pools has been outstanding. From the time we signed the contract to swimming in the pool was six weeks. The quality of work has been equally excellent. The equipment associated with the pool functions as advertised, and has been completely reliable, easy to use, and keeps the pool water amazingly clean.

We used Vintage Pools to build a pool, hot tub, fire pit and raised platform. They listened to our ideas and helped us design exactly what we were looking for. When we noticed a few mistakes they were quick to correct them. We have received so many compliments on our backyard. If you are planning to build a pool I would definitely talk with them first!
They have a great website with pictures of their pools if you need some inspiration. We decided on a modern design and we were very happy with the end result. Gary and Hank were a pleasure to work with. Do yourself a favor and give them a call.
