Graves Bros.

We give Graves a 4.5 out of 5 stars, we were (mostly) super super impressed! We had a bunch of work done so I'm going to break it down by category Sales: 4.5/5- getting an appointment at first took a while, as to be expected given the time of year but make sure you tailor your expectation from the beginning. Kris went through the entire project with us (it's a big one. full removal and install of new roof, some new gutters and some new siding on a VERY complex house) and was super patient as we asked our thousand questions.

He also stayed connected through the project! The only thing that was missing was a final "how do you like it?" check in after completion. We also aren't sure about our warranty so speaking to Kris again would have been nice. Roof: 5/5 - the Forman Reese was AMAZING. Hands down the best. Don't lose him, Graves Brothers! They cleaned up after each day, they were polite, and the work looks great. Reese kept us updated throughout the project and helped us through a few pretty bad unseen issues.

The only thing with the roof I wasn't expecting was that they really work dawn to dusk. They were here by 8am and some days didn't leave until after 8pm. Graves, I hope that you treat them well, that's a very very long day of labor! Gutters: 3/5 - the gutters look great now that they're done but oh my gosh was it painful to get to that part. They had to come out three maybe four times to do the correct gutters.

I don't really mind that part but the gentleman who did them was very inconsiderate and rude. I showed him the first two times which gutters were included and even showed him the picture Kris provided to us since they were only replacing some of the gutters. He wasn't actually listening to me and was dismissive. hence why he had to come back out again and again.

Now that they're done we love them, but I don't think we would go to Graves for gutters in the future. It was fine since we had a bunch of other work, but we wouldn't seek them out for further gutter replacement. Craftsman: 5/5 - Eric was amazing (also, note how I know everyones name except the gutter person). It took a bit to get aligned for the work to be done due to the weather but Eric was awesome about letting me know and coordinating a date / time.

He was super nice and his work was wonderful. We have a very large old house with wood siding and some of it (in places we couldn't easily get to) had to be repaired. Took him a few hours and now it looks wonderful. Overall we really liked our experience with Graves, they weren't the cheapest but they weren't the most expensive either. Calling in to pay our invoice was a breeze and for the most part everyone was wonderful!

We will be calling them when we're ready to have the front facade roofing replaced and the siding since they're reliable and the work was done very very well (which is tough for most places to meet because we have VERY high expectations! Hey, 29k isn't pocket change, we need to make sure our investment is well made). Thank you, Graves for making our first contractor experience in our new home so wonderful. We are very appreciative of you!

From the initial conversation with Michelle on the phone, I knew this was the company I wanted to go with. She was professional and very responsive. She gave me a window (8am - 12pm) of the following week and kept in contact with me after I've sent pictures of the repair needed per her request. James gave me a phone call roughly around 10am and was told he'd be over in about 25 minutes.

He came right on the dot. James was professional, friendly and answered all my questions regarding my issue and others. Gave me great insight and advice on future home improvements. The quote was spot on in terms of what I've been told, what I've thought and very reasonable. The quality of work was phenomenal and Graves Bros. just received another customer for any future home improvements and fixing. I highly recommend this company and would happily request specifically James for any future home-fixings and improvements. 10/10

I was in need of a new roof after losing many shingles from windstorm. I contacted Graves Bros and met with Kris McGee, estimator for Graves. He took several pictures and spent time with me reviewing the whole process of a tear-off and roof install and explained the quality of their products. I then got estimate from the insurance company and when I forwarded it to Kris, he noticed they did not capture everything and took the extra steps to work with my insurance company requiring him to come back and take more pictures which ended up saving me an additional $4000+ dollars.

A few weeks later Graves came and replaced my roof. Jeremiah oversaw the project and kept me informed throughout the day of the progress. The crew made sure my property was protected and when they were all done you would never know they were there. I was very impressed at how well they cleaned up the yard. From start to finish Kris, Jeremiah and Anthony and crew were all very professional and friendly to work with. They went above and beyond my expectations. I would highly recommend Graves Bros!

Kris McGee is the one and only reason I went with graves brothers. The price was higher and timeline was longer but kris went the extra mile with the roof inspection and had knowledgeable input in all aspects of my project. He is honest and didn't try to "up sell" me at any point. The roofing crew was fast and efficient. Scott was in communication with me at different points of the job including before starting and after completion.

The siding crew took there time and it shows, they did a great job. The seam on all the metal work is next to perfect. The bends are perfect. Mikey was in contact with me before they started but haven't had any contact with him since, other than telling me the guys were going to be taking some time off due to covid which was understandable. Gutters look good and take the water from any rain we've gotten so far. I'd recommend graves brothers for any remodel needs you have in the future. Request Kris McGee for your initial quote and you won't be disappointed.

I wanted to send out a large thank you to Graves Bros., but esp Jason, who redid the interior of my kitchen/living room ceiling where roof leakage had caused damage. He was very efficient and very knowledgeable. I also dealt with Eric, James, Casey, and John directly re: painting and subsequent replacement of my roof and was very happy with all interactions. Look no further! If you need a general contractor, Graves will take good care of you! We had some wooden siding blown off our house during a windstorm which exposed some rot and Graves rose to the challenge. They were extremely accommodating, very professional, and went out of their way to ensure we were satisfied with our experience. They also gave us an estimate for siding and when we decided to just complete the repair and decline the siding project due to budget constraints, they were very understanding and did not pressure us whatsoever.

We worked with Kris and could not have been more pleased with the process from start to finish. Bottom line, we HIGHLY recommend you contact Graves for your home improvement needs.

Great experience, highly recommend! Jude and Jeremiah who came out to repair an area of our two-story chimney that was allowing water to enter our home. They were very friendly and thorough, explained the issues they found and recommendations for preventive maintenance without being pushy or trying to upsell us. We will be using this company again for a roof repair in the back section of our home.

My wife and I used Graves Bros for new siding and gutters on our house. We were very impressed with the quality of the work and responsiveness of the entire team. From working with Chad on the contract to interacting with the crew while they were on the job, we couldn't be happier with their attention to detail and accommodations. We recommend Graves for home improvements and will consider them for future projects!

They answer the phones, that is all I can say. I called for help after significant siding damage during a wind storm. Sent them pictures and they said they would take job and were scheduling two weeks out. Said they would call back. 3 more follow up calls over the next 4 weeks and each time told I would get a call back later in the day with an update.

No call backs received and now damage is significantly worse. Takes 30 seconds to call back and say you can't do a job or are too busy and they could not extend that courtesy. Should get 0 stars but not an option.

Graves did a great job with our roof and attic ventilation several years ago. Relying on that great work, over 6 months ago, we asked them to help us buy and install a new storm door. We chose a door that needed to be special ordered and since then we have only heard back from them when my husband calls. There are promises to get back to us, but they never do. Apparently, they only give good service if you order the product they want you to and you are spending thousands of dollars. Their lack of follow through and professionalism for the storm door job has, sadly, ruined their reputation with me.

Grave Brothers did a FANTASTIC job inspecting, and repairing my roof and gutter system! I commend Kris McGee and his team! Kris did an excellent job inspecting my roof problems and issues. Anthony did a wonderful job. I excepted a call to cancel as it snowed last night. Instead he called to come earlier. He used shingles I had left from my sun room add on and quickly did the repair with only a nominal cost to me. Was so happy as I have been trying to get someone out here for months to do this before winter. I will be using this company for all my roofing insulation jobs and any other jobs they may do that I need. Very very efficient and professional. Thank you Graves Bros.

We had a leak in our living room from a worn seal on a couple pipes on our roof. When we called they were able to come out within a week when most other service providers wouldn't be able to for weeks. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Only downside was the job took 30 minutes but had to pay the fixed rate for the first two hours of work. Would definitely refer to family/friends but would recommend that they have a job that will take at least 2 hours to get their money's worth.

We had an excellent experience with Graves Bros. We hired them to replace a broken screen door, repair a rotting door frame and seal up some exposed area from a deck removal. The serviceman was very prompt, communicative and courteous. He did excellent work and checked in with me throughout the job. Would definitely recommend and use again!

Very impressed with Graves Bros. team from start to finish. They responded promptly to my estimate request, walked me through their proposal, and scheduled the project quickly. The day of the job, Zach and the crew showed up first thing and moved along like clockwork. When they were done, they left the property in spotless condition. Roof looks great. Well done!

Graces Bros installed windows in my home in January/March 2021. My parents recommended them after their windows were installed many years ago. I was very pleased with the work crew. They did an excellent job! Recently, I've called twice (within a two week period) to ask to have someone come check two of the windows with two different issues. Each time I was told someone would get back to me.

It's now been another four days and I've had no one contact me at all. Very disappointed. I realize contractors are super busy right now but a phone call acknowledging my concerns would be nice. My complaint is not with office staff-it's with Product Manager or whoever would handle questions from customers about installed products. I would have gladly recommended Graves Brothers for window installation prior to this, but I hesitate now.

Customer service with prior customers is equally important as new customers. If it were my business and a customer had an issue with one of the products, I'd want to know because I'd need to know if the product is less than "highly rated", so I could also report it to the manufacturer.

Graves Brothers sided my house and put on a deck. Overall we are happy with what they did. The siding quality was excellent and looks great ( 5 out of 5) The deck installation looks good (4 out of 5). There were a few things I wish could have been done better. 1) I had asked for a concrete slab on the bottom of the steps during the quote. Before installation this was also discussed.

During installation I came home and the step studs were installed with no slab. The reason for the slab is so grass doesn't grow behind the last riser. Just make sure you keep communicating and don't assume all details are known. 2) Stair rail is very close to the skirting. When the post cap is jammed on it pushes and bends that area of the skirting. 3) There are two posts that are close to each other.

You can tell they are not level with each other. I'm probably the only one that will notice it, but again it's a detail thing. I would definitely hire them again because the overall quality is very good. I will just make sure I look closer at some of the details. Also everything that is to be done is communicated.

If I could give zero stars I would. First it took a week & multiple calls to the company for someone to call us back. When an appointment was finally made, no one showed up. My husband called the company & was told that they moved our appointment to the next day, someone was supposed to call us (but never did). Next day, no show again. Took 4 calls to get one of the workers to call us back, who then says that he can try to come by 4:30pm (appt was originally for 8am-12pm), but wasn't going to guarantee it. No apologies, no explanations. Had to take 2 days off of work & wait around for nothing. Extremely unprofessional. We will be going with a different company.
