Highly recommend Hayden Pools! The office was able to provide me accurate service estimates over the phone and a technician was sent out quickly. Matt, the service technician, did an extremely thorough review of our equipment and he took the time to gather a thorough history of our pool issues. He is an outstanding diagnostician. After service from Matt and Hayden pools, our pool was in great shape without charging us for things we did not need.

Have Hayden Pool repair damaged diverter valves due to freeze. In the email to them before arranging repair, I attached photos and told them to replace return valve which has a visible crack. Yet the technician charged $420, replaced one valve on vacuum side, replumbed return line but kept the faulty valve for next trip in the following week. The reason, he had no more valve.
I understand the part shortage, but why not wait for a few days to replace everything at once? Now he needs to cut the line he just put in to replace the return valve which I told them from the start. The price: another $600 for the return valve and other one vacuum valve. Also, they will only give total repair price, no part and labor breakdown.

Worst pool service ever. We used them for an inspection then THEY emailed ME to use them in the future for service. I agreed to hire them for monthly service, even though their quote was much higher than every other company I called. The freeze hit Texas and our pool heater and pump broke. They told me I was on the list for service. After several days I called and asked if/when they thought they could come out.
With massive, vile, ugly attitude the jerk on the phone told me at least two weeks, if not more, because they had to service their regular customers first. What a moron. I had already agreed to monthly service and already had them out to winterize the pool. Then, the same idiot, Vinita, who solicited me as a client told me to go eff myself basically because they were too busy with their 700 clients.
These are expensive, rude, brain dead jerks. Do not use them. By the way, I called a very reputable pool service company this morning and they're coming out today. And $50 less a month for service. Live and learn. Most expensive is not the best.

With the power outage last week our pump did not run for 4 days. Act of nature. Our wonderful representative still showed up last week and cleaned the pool while we were still without power. He spent hours today getting the pool back in tip top shape now power is back on. It is now glistening and in fabulous shape. Thank you to our pool service and I know it has been a bad week and a half for all. We are just thankful to our very conciensious representative that cleans very meticulously.

We have used Hayden Pools for over 5 years. Their technicians are very reliable. They have never not shown up on the day they are supposed to service. The service is consistently high quality. When we have needed repairs we feel that they are fair in their assessment and will do what is needed and not sell us something we do not need. They are good with old pools as well as new. The office communicates with us and lets us know of upcoming service they feel we need or warn us of potential freeze. Recommend them.

Weekly maintenance staff is excellent. Internal billing and admin employees, not so much. Be sure and ask what charges are prior to repair technicians servicing any issue(s). I had a $20 capacitor replaced in 20 minutes time and was charged $250 without pre-authorization. When I called to request further details, Karen explained to me her dealings with plumbers and their fees (to make me feel better?) and had zero desire to retain my business. I cancelled my service and will NEVER recommend Hayden Pool Service.

This is an excellent local business run by knowledgeable people who really care about their customers. I've always had a very positive experience. Scheduling is easy and efficient, and the technicians are always prompt, friendly, and helpful. When I purchased my first pool home two years ago, my realtor recommended Hayden for the pool inspection. They gave us an honest, thorough appraisal of the pool's condition and let us know which repairs were high-priority and which could wait.
Once we closed on the house, we hired them to do a thorough cleaning and servicing of the pool, during which the wonderful technician let me shadow him so that I could learn how to maintain the pool myself. He went above and beyond explaining everything to me as he did it, and I was so pleased I called the owner to tell him how impressed I was with the whole experience.

Hayden pool service its not a trust worthy company! i contacted them to have my pool light replaced and after several vigorous questioning by them they texted me full price ( in and out ) to have the light replaced, i provided them the new light once tech came to my house i provide them my card to charge after completion and to my surprise they charged my card without my consent twice more what they texted me, i don't recommend this company.

Recently I tried using Hayden Pool as our pool was getting that green glow from all the heat we have been having. They were nice and accommodating while setting up the appointment. We received a verbal agreement of $200 to perform the service (which is a bit high but we needed to get it done). Their technician showed up 1.5 hrs late with no heads up and just went into our yard with no warning.
I caught him several times playing on his phone and hanging out in our driveway. Little did I know we were being charged the whole time since he has a tracker on his vehicle. They also showed up first thing Saturday morning with no warning and started pounding on our front door. Then they showed up 3 more times the following week with little to no communication to let us know.
When we received our bill it was nearly $600! When my husband confronted Karen, the owner, he was met with hostility and anger. When I tried to speak with her for an explanation of the bill, she was very rude and only offered to send my bill to a collections agency. She did not want to talk it out or investigate. Please do NOT do business with this company as their goal is to bate and switch then loose the customer. It is poor business practice and I do not want any of you to experience the same disrespect I just endured.

Complete assembly of Booster Pump and Motor for Polaris pool sweep was installed (new). We noticed a high pitched noise coming from the pool equipment area. The company that regularly services my pool (weekly and some monts2x a week) and has made repairs and replaced equipment over the years told me that the pool sweep was not working. The motor would have to be replaced.

Hayden Pool company has some good pool cleaners but they are always trying to add services and slip them in without telling you about them until after they're done. I have had a lot of trouble getting a monthly invoice from them since I pay with a credit card every month. They try to sell you things that you do not need and don't explain it until you get the bill and ask about it.
They tried to sell me a new heater when all I needed was a part and it has been working fine ever since. I like the man who comes to clean my pool, but I do not trust the company. The excuse I got for No invoice was that they had the incorrect email so we made sure it was correct and I still did not get any invoices in my email. That sort of smacks of deception.

Basing this off three interactions. We bought a house with a pool and paid for their inspection prior to purchase, They identified several issues which were fixed by the seller. So I'll give them 4 stars for that service. We also paid for their "pool school". Absolute and total waste of time and money They spect no more than 15 minutes showing me how to adjust different valves - never mentioned how to maintain the filter or how to manage the chemicals. 1 star, Then we had an issue with a new part they installed.
It was under warranty, yet they charged me a service fee to fix a part they installed that was under warranty that failed. 1 star. Average 2 stars. From other reviews it looks like their strong suit is cleaning leaves out o the pool and scraping the ides for algae. So, perhaps use them for that and use others for the important stuff.

I had used Hayden pools weekly service in the past and was pleased with them, however now i only use them them when i need to have a super clean performed on my pool. I am deeply disappointed with their service. I called them for a Super Clean to take place 4/18. I was charged $410. The pool was not getting any clearer. I called them back and told them that not only was pool not clear, but the chemicals that they had put in pool were at the bottom and that should not be the case. Karen advised that they could not send anyone that day, however a pool person would come 5/1 to take a look and clean up.
I get home to find that brush was laying pool side but chemicals were still at bottom. Looks like they came to look, but that was the extent of the 'follow up'. Hayden Pools used to be reputable. NOT ANYMORE. $410 dollars for a pool that is still unclear and chemicals. Marisa Sifuentes

They repaired the filter and did a special cleaning of the pool. The description of the pool condition was: Massive amounts of algae so much that it was almost brown. When you put your hand in the pool up to your elbow you could not see you hand. It was also getting worse. OH what a great experience. They were very quick. They were professional.

We used Hayden for our weekly pool service for the past two years and their service was top notch. The pool stayed in great shape year round -- even in November when our trees dropped all their leaves into the pool. We were surprised during the first fall season when we came home to 8 trash bags of leaves on the curb after a weekly pool service; it must have taken our tech hours to do the job that week! We would recommend them to anyone who doesn't want to think about all the maintenance involved with having a nice pool!

Hayden Pool Service came on our property without notice or authorization and did unauthorized work, which we had no idea about until we received an invoice from them for the work. When I called to tell them not to do the work and that i never authorized it, Barry indicated he would look into it and call me back. We found out later that during the time it took him to call me back he sent someone back onto our property without authorization to take pictures that the work had been done.
He then yelled at me and threatened me when I indicated that we did not authorize the work and would not pay the invoice. We have now installed additional security features to our backyard after our experience with Hayden Pool Service.

Hayden pools is terrible with customer service. The workers that come out to your house are very nice and prompt, but Barry is an absolute ass. We just moved into our house and were told that we could get service for one month for $160 and we told them that was what we wanted to do. It never got communicated with Barry that was what we wanted and when we got a bill for $260 for only TWO visits he said he could do nothing and would not honor the price of $160 per month for FOUR visits.
I was thinking about using them for the season but since they decided to up charge me for their lack of communication they just lost a customer. Watch out for Barry if you do choice to use this company and good luck.

This company does good work but after they tried to sell me a new heater for $3500 which they said I needed I decided to get a second opinion. It needed a part only and now works perfectly for only a $300 repair. I would not recommend them.and they charged me a service call to tell me I needed a new heater which wasn't true.
