Radford Garage Door

Just wanted to put this out there. If anyone needs garage door repair/replacement work, you can't go wrong with Ryan at Radford Garage Doors. I had an estimate from another company ( at nearly twice the price) but they said it would take 2 to 4 weeks. Ryan showed up, gave me an estimate, and when I asked him when he could do it, he said "Right now!" 45 minutes later he was on his way and I was one happy customer!

We had the pleasure of dealing with John Kirkby His expertise on product and installation information was second to none. John fixed our noisy and unbalanced door and it works wonderfully. I would highly recommend Radford and especially John for your garage door needs. Michael Brumley

I just can't express how grateful I am for this company! From my initial conversation with Emily, who walked me through the whole process and then sent John Kirkby to handle my job. John is extremely knowledgeable, did exceptional work and gave me an extremely reasonable price. He went "above and beyond" the call of duty to take care of me after hours, completed my work perfectly and made sure I was completely satisfied. Radford doors does excellent work. They installed two roll up doors and also provided a yearly service. Couldn't be better.

I really really wanted to like this company. Pros: friendly staff. Very personal interaction with employees ( with 1 exception). Were extremely helpful when they came out to quote an additional job after an almost catastrophic accident with another gate and actually did the small repairs for free. Cons: completely unreliable. It started with the first quote.

I had great interaction with the sales department and the person who came out to give it to me the quote. But then I didn't receive the quote for over two weeks and I had to call repeatedly for updates. When I finally put my foot down and said I would be looking at other companies another staff member came up with our quote very quickly. When the gate motor was finally installed instead of getting a service technician who was knowledgeable they promoted a fabricator with absolutely zero customer service skills to install the gate.

It was a frustrating day with very little communication and zero training on the unit. When the unit broke down due to an electrical issue ( no fault of Radford's) the same employee returned and was so rude, raised his voice simply walked off the job. I reported the entire incident to the owner of the company. She assured me these issues were not common and sent an experienced technician, the repaired are made and we even discussed another project.

The technician left saying I would have the quote in 2 business days. 3 weeks later, nothing. I called the company with an update to see where the quote was and was told that someone would contact me. An additional week later I still had no quote and again emailed the owner of the company. Her discussion was more excuses about growing pains in the company etc. etc. and I was assured I would be getting a quote in the next two business days.

When I received the quote very little was accurate, & the cost was prohibitively high and way beyond our budget. I let the owner of the company know my feelings and instead of working a little bit harder to attempt to make it right, I was basically told that she understood why I would not engage with their company any longer. Leaving me with the impression that they couldn't be bothered and my business did not matter. I would hesitate before engaging with this company. There's a whole lot of excuses, very little communication, but as I stated before the staff is friendly.

Much thanks to John K. for going above & beyond configuring our remotes. He thoroughly checked, cleaned, tightened & ensured safety with the garage door, device & keypad. He was knowledgeable, professional, respectful & kind. I highly recommend requesting this technician.

The new garage door is great - better than we had expected! Our tech installer, Daniel, did a very neat job, and left the garage swept clean. He explained any questions my wife or I had - very professional.

We LOVE our new garage doors. We first met Fred who is both very professional and knowledgeable. He stepped us through the process and presented options within our budget and invited us to see doors at their (very nice) showroom. There was a pandemic-caused delay in getting our doors made but that's been the norm for quite a while. Then there were delays on our end due to other construction going on at our house. Radford was very patient about that.

Then superstar Daniel came out to do the installation. Also very professional and knowledgeable. A nonstop worker. The fit and finish is perfect. He cleaned up everything when he was done. EVerything works great. Love the wifi access. Highly recommend Radford. No disclaimer here. I have NO affiliation at all with the company. They are simply excellent at what they do.

David the technician at Radford Garage Doors and Gates was honest, friendly and efficient. He came out to fix the garage door and unlike other companies he was honest and gave us a realistic idea of the cost and what was needed to repair the door. Many thanks to the Radford team for an exceptional experience and incredible service. John was easy to work with as we explored and ordered front gates. Tori and Gina kept us in the loop with friendly emails and phone calls. Christopher Peterson installed our gates with an eye on quality: he noticed that the clear coat/finish on one of the panels wasn't perfect, so he stripped, re-stained, re-coated the panel over the course of a few days so each layer would dry properly and deliver a perfect outcome. Christopher was knowledgeable, reliable and friendly. We are very happy with our gates and would highly recommend Radford for the quality of their product and their professional team.

Determined Radford Doors was a good option for a new garage doors 6 years ago. Selection of a door was somewhat limited because of the low ceiling in my garage, but got a great system for less than I expected. Last month garage door was making noise and not completely closing. Called Radford. Jake came out next day, adjusted door in less than 20 minutes. He also helped me with a remote issue later in the week. My early research paid off: Radford products, service and personnel are the best.

John provided excellent customer service. He worked with our home warranty to provide an optimal solution. We scheduled for a later date for installation of a new motor. John arrived in time, worked quickly, and in a short time the old was out and the new was in, including a new key pad and remotes programmed. He walked me through the operations and offered options for additional programming/schedules. Would recommend to everyone - if you want professional, responsive, helpful and respectful service for garage doors/openers, Redford is the place to go.

I was very pleased with the ordering and installation of my garage doors. Damon was an efficient sales agent, carefully measuring spaces and recommending needed work before installation. Demetri valiantly tried to move my installation forward when my current door stopped working. Eliseo single handedly installed doors for my 3 car garage including adding side filler to accommodate the new doors and putting a lock on my 3rd door. Justin and Alan promptly followed up by pairing the remote with my car. Tori sent me my invoice with all work detailed and accounted for. I highly recommend Radford for their service and professional concern.

Called today with an emergency garage door repair - Radford's repairmen refused to repair the door because at 2:30 in the afternoon they had gotten home for the day and didn't want to go back out in the traffic! Poor babies. Way to go guys! Thanks for helping a property owner that had plumbers making repairs when the door was accidentally closed and the existing garage door opener failed. If your company EVER comes up in conversation, or if someone asks for a reference YOU will be the LAST company on earth to do business with!
