Gutter Guards
Report
Installing this material is estimated to reduce monthly cooling costs by as much as 15-20%. The most practical use for this application, is where wood shake roofs with spaced decking are converted to a new composite or other shingle system.
Ventilation
Report
At Covenant, we believe attic baffles are essential in many homes today. Newer homes are less drafty than older homes, and interior moisture can be a concern. One example of increased moisture in the attic is when there are multiple bathroom exhaust fans emptying into the attic space, which is not vented properly from the soffits to the ridge.

At Covenant we pride ourselves in staying current on new products that benefit our customers. As one example, Radiant Barrier decking makes sense in terms of energy efficiency. As energy costs continue to increase, radiant barrier decking is a viable option for homeowners who are looking long-term and want to lower their energy costs year to year.

LP TechShield Radiant Barrier Sheathing consists of a thin, durable sheet of aluminum laminated to LP OSB sheathing. LPs patented post-lamination incising process creates a series of micro-vents, which allows for moisture evaporation throughout the life of the product.
Radiant barrier is explained and demonstrated in this video. Foil radiant barrier is far superior to the spray paint material they call a radiant barrier. In order to be classified as a radiant barrier the product must reflect a minimum of 90% of the radiant heat.
Using foam baffles for ventilation to channel cold and hot air to roof vents before insulation is added.

Our family is very pleased with the experience we had with Nathan at Regent Contracting LLC. He went out of his way to make sure our Mother's roof was replaced/repaired properly. He even worked with the insurance company to ensure the maximum claim amount for the job. He and his crew were professional and curtious They completed the job in just one day!

My wife and I had been away from our residence for a few months due to the military. While we were gone there was a hailstorm that caused significant damage to our roof. Covenant was able to work with us while we were away from home. They had excellent customer service and we were very pleased with the results when we returned home.

I was very pleased with Covenant. They were very organized and made the process of replacing my roof very simple. This was the first claim in 25 years with Farmers. Being my first claim I had to rely on Covenants knowledge to guid me in the claim process. Covenant had a good relationship with my insurance office and also with the claim adjuster to make sure everything was accounted for.

We had hail damage last Spring which totalled the roof on our house. I called Nathan at Covenant & Construction and was very pleased with his professionalism and the extent that he helped us through the entire process. He also suggested several helpful upgrades and recommended the highest quality materials.
