We are a father and son owned Pittsburgh, PA based heating and cooling company that specializes in the sales, service, and installation of both residential and commercial HVAC services. Sam and his wife, Angela, lived in the Bloomfield area most of their lives and now reside in Brighton Heights, a neighborhood in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania's Northside area.They have always had a dream of owning their own business. Sam and Angela began early on as owners of a pizza shop in the Bloomfield/Lawrenceville area, which is now the site of Children's Hospital. Sam attended twelve years of Catholic school and graduated from Pittsburgh Central Catholic High School.

In 2009 we needed a new furnace and air conditioning. We called all the big companies like most people (five in all). The main problem I had with these companies, was they only cared about trying to sell us their top of the line equipment, which was expensive and over our budget. They didn't seem to care about our finances. It felt like we were only a dollar sign to them.

Final Results: Our fuel bills have decreased even though we are now heating an additional floor of our house. Multiple options to meet our heating needs were explained, in layman's terms, which made us completely comfortable with our choices. The project time frames were met. Every step of the project was explained in detail.

I am writing to thank SamSon Heating & Cooling, Inc. for replacing my outdoor air conditioning unit, a refrigerant line set and a new evaporator coil. From estimate to installation they were professional, quick, competitively priced and I would highly recommend using them for any HVAC needs. Our heat wouldn't turn off no matter what we did. Our house was about 87 degrees and we were literally walking around in our swimsuits. It was unbearable. We left a voicemail on a Sunday and rec'd a call back within about half of an hour. Sam tried to walk us through some quick steps to fix our problem via phone, but we didn't have the tools. We at least made enough progress to turn the heat off make our house comfortable.
He came out at the earliest time we were available, and all was fixed within about 1/2hr. $95 for a service call, seemed a bit steep but I'm not actually sure what the going rate is for comparison. Regardless I'm keeping this contact on file, will absolutely use them again if I have any other issues.
