Saw a driveway they had done and had cracked within 2 months. They hadn't complied with the state standard for expansion cuts. An independent engineering consultant took bore samples which revealed no fibre had been added to the concrete. Despite their claims that fibre had been added. Poor quality and will end up needing redone within a few years. follow up was absent. Not corrected their issues. Absolute disgrace of a job. Wouldn't recommend.

Contracted to replace our contract drive a year ago. New drive cracked within three months and is hideously discolored. Came out once and said the cracks were typical for FL. The expansion cuts were cut too far apart - more than the recommended 10 ft. Learned afterward the concrete should not have been poured in the rain. Asked him to review and conduct objective tests like Swiss compression test.
He failed to respond to three emails that had delivered receipts on them. We had independent consultant do core samples which stated no fiber added to concrete despite concrete delivery receipt claiming fiber added and charged us for it. Claim to be insured but their own insurance broker stated they were not covered for the work they did for us. Totally untrustworthy AVOID!

The quality of work that I received on my home addition was wonderful! Their construction crews were very clean, detailed and finished projects in a timely fashion. I would recommend Mott's Contracting Services for anyone who has had any prior nightmares with building contractors in the Greater Tampa Bay Area.

Mott's blew me away with the wonderful job they did with repairs to prepare a condo for sale. They were professional, competitively priced and did an excellent job with a laundry list of repairs, including building a custom cabinet to match the others and installing/repairing ceiling fans. They can do all types of jobs.

During a very busy time of year, Mott's Contracting made room for a rather small job that all others turned away. The on-site crew were courteous, proficient, and cleaned up after themselves. I also liked how a project manager came later in the afternoon to check their work. Will definitely use Mott's again.
