Jerry is the best tech out there this man has gone far beyond his job duty to help this man has knowledge and is amazing at his job and compassionate and caring as well because of Jerry I will only be using precision for all my needs and I will be referring everyone to them for all there needs as well. They came out on time and was very professional. I was highly recommended to Precision only to be extremely dissatisfied. Was charged $1000 (full service cleaning etc. & purchased $500 maintenance / service plan. Problem was not fixed. They promptly came back out courtesy call (no charge), replaced a couple more wires. Was told if this doesn't work they can replace the thermostat wire $1000-1200!
He said I could probably do it myself, so I did. It didn't help. I called a handyman, less than an hour later my A/C was working! It was a loose wire at the thermostat. Called Precision Wed. now Fri., still no return call from service mgr.

Won't be using their business since they failed right from the start! Called and Made my appointment for a new installation for a 3-4 ton unit I was looking at. Gave them all my info that was needed for contacting me since the appointment was at 1300-1600 they said they'd call 30min prior to showing up. I informed them that I just purchased this property and that we would be doing renovations before moving in so make sure you call.!
Get off work early to make sure I'm there by 1 in case they came early.started doing some renovating while I waited. 3.5 hours go by and still nothing, so I figured I'd call and touch base. Come to find out they decided to change the appointment to early this morning without my knowledge or approval. Not only did they not call but they took it on themselves to deem the house empty and do absolutely nothing. Doesn't seem so honorable, reliable, accurate or precise as they say.
As a veteran I take that personally because those are things I live by and being a man of your word goes a long way. Looks like I'll be taking my business and some others with me.

I am very pleased with the service I got from my technician for my water heater issue. I called at 7:18 am and he was here within 45 minutes. He was polite and professional. He was super concientious about being careful in my home. He explained things clearly to me and was very efficient. I'd highly recommend him. I also had an AC technician out the same day to diagnose a problem with my air conditioning.
I had the same experience with him as well. He was prompt, professional, and efficient. He was mindful of my home and my dogs and did a super job. I'd highly recommend him as well. Overall I'm extremely pleased with the service I received from Precision Air. They are the ones I'll call for any future needs. You should too!

The tech, Ryan provided great service. Answered most of my questions. Suggested I talk to Dave the sales manager to answer my questions about the warranty on resale. Showed me how to use the thermostat in a way suitable to my preferences. I will also give credit to Dave. He noticed that the hinge was missing on my air filter door when he came through originally.
I wasn't even expecting them to replace it. That was an extra touch I greatly appreciate. I have gotten used to it. It looks so much better now. With a new unit, no slamming it to get the filter to settle in. The price was perfect. I wanted no frills simplicity. I was given a military discount. Thanks again. My dog and I will spend one more summer here before I sell. It will be comfortable. Thanks Precision Air for making that happen. You guys are amazing

Our upstairs A/C had frozen and we called this company first. After quick inspection told it's an older outdated unit and that both needed replaced. They got our unit up and running and would have sales get us a bid the next day. Before leaving, made sure they collected $600 for the hour and Freon. (Tongue in cheek) While at work, they came by the house giving my wife a bid for one A/C of $14,800.
This is a 'special offer' and a decision must be made before end of business that day. (Yeah right). They also informed us our insulation was sub-par and a reason our A/C's are working harder! My wife decided to put a deposit down on insulation of $1000 as its smart, right? She told them she just wanted to discuss A/C with me and they again said we must decide today as pricing will be higher!
That afternoon we discussed insulation needs and that she went ahead and scheduled, put a deposit down, and we had to make a decision on the A/C before end of business. I told her I'd call them back myself. Sorry but I'll NOT be sold! I lit into the salesman and told him that is a BS sales tactic and we'll not decide on spending 15k without sleeping on it.
He even later said'don't blame him, he's told what to do'. I thanked him for his honesty and demanded my deposit on insulation immediately, as if you can lie about one thing, it's commonplace they're lying about something else as well. Even if I need insulation, I'll NOT USE THEM! Let's just say, I did my research, I also had 19 bids because these people made my skin crawl.

If I could give this company a zero I would. Under no circumstances should you use them. I purchased an HVAC system from them 7 years ago. It was a higher end Goodman. Within 2 years something broke and they had to come out and fix it. It was under warranty but they told me only the part was covered and charged me over $200 to fix it. I had them under contract to come out every year to do an annual check.
They just came out and the technician told me I needed a new capacitor which would cost around $375 for labor. She also went in my attic and came out with a picture saying my duct was torn and air was escaping and that I needed duct work done for $3,000 dollars. She was trying to wheel and deal me. She was also supposed to drain my water heater which is part of my contract and when I went outside there was no water anywhere and I felt she hadn't drained it.
She said the water dried up. Another lie. I called the company after she left to ask about the cost of the capacitor. They said the part is covered not the labor. I then said I heard a rattle when the air went on so the next day they sent another technician out to see what it was. He was extremely rude and told me it's the compressor because the capacitor is bad.
He then said we told you what you need to do but you're not doing it. I told him I was going to do it just not with them. Today I had someone else come out that was highly recommended. He confirmed that the capacitor needed replacing but when he called Goodman they said both parts and labor are covered under my warranty. So I was ripped off 5 years ago when they repaired something and charged me labor.
I was furious. I then asked him to check the ducts in the attic that I was shown a picture of a duct that had a large tear in it. He videoed all the ducts and there was no tear. I called Precision today to ask to speak to a manager to try and get the money back for the labor costs they should have never charged me. I have yet to hear back from them. I will be reporting them to the better business bureau as well as the Arizona registrar of contractors. This company can not be trusted and is not reputable.

I am very happy to recommend this company for any and all things related to hvac or plumbing. I contacted Precision Air and Plumbing along with several other companies for an estimate to replace my nearly 25 year old unit. Precision Air was the only company that truly spent the time inspecting and devising a plan to fix several concerns we had with the way the system operated.
Our estimator Don spent nearly 3 hours at the home during this time. Other companies literally spent minutes and gave a very generic quote. In the end we accepted the estimate that was given by Precision Air at a very fair cost for the amount of work that was to be performed. We set up the installation appointment for a few days from the day the estimate was given.
On installation day, our installation team of Guy, Nick, and Brandon arrived promptly and were very friendly. They went over the plan of install and immediately began work. Installation took around 9 or so hours. At the end of installation they cleaned any messes that had been made during install. I am thrilled to say that my HVAC system has never worked as well as it does now.

They were able to get me in same day! The lady on the phone was great and helped me schedule everything. I was still at work when Kevin got to my house, he waited for me and diagnosed my issue before I even got home. I was able to get my AC parts replaced same day, and they did a military discount! Kevin made sure my AC was working well and even changed my air filter for me as a courtesy. I am extremely impressed with how efficient and friendly this experience was, and will recommend them to all my friends and family that live in Chandler.

My sister Had Precision come out and install a new 2 ton AC/heating unit about 5 months ago in her Park Model. Now it's starting to heat up, her house wasn't cooling like it should be. Her neighbor came over and told her, she was cooling the driveway really well. Went out side and the A/C was blowing all the air to her neighbors driveway and not into the house. Called the company on a Monday and they finally were able to come out on a Thursday.
Keep in mind she is 75 years old and a female. Precision came out and said her ducts were rusted and had holes in them. When the guys who sold her the unit 5 months ago was there he said the duct work looked good. Obliviously, he never bothered to really check it. Upon calling the company they said they didn't fix ductwork and they didn't do inspections when installing a new A/C unit.
The person I spoke to named Drew, stated she would have to call another company to come out and repair or replace all of her duct work. This company took thousands of dollars from her, gave her an excellent A/C but never bothered to make sure the ductwork was in place for the unit to be effective. This is shoddy business and the possible exploitation of an elderly person.

Our AC went down Easter, early in the morning, and certainly didn't think we'd have it fixed the same day. Called Precision and within an hour and a half our repair tech, Tanner, was out and fixing the issue. Tanner was excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. Explained the issue we were having succinctly and showed us exactly what needed to be repaired. He even told us that we still had warranty left on the unit but opted for his fix. Excellent work, excellent company, thank you so much!

Extremely professional and trustworthy. Anthony was out to my home twice to help me troubleshoot a plumbing/sewer issue. He spent an enormous amount of time showing me what the problem was via a camera he fed through the line. This company had previously replaced another section of my sewer line, and I now have issues in another section they will be replacing. They are fairly priced and Anthony is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I won't call anyone else for all my plumbing needs.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Found them via Google for a clogged kitchen drain and the website said "buy one drain claiming, get one free for $69.95." When the technician showed up he told us it would be $400 to unclog the kitchen drain. When asked about the special, he said, "oh that's another type of drain." Of course we told him no way on the $400. and we ended up having to pay $50 diagnostic. I could have told him what was wrong! We didn't need a diagnostic! What a total rip off. Avoid this company.

We have a new home and Ricardo came out for regular maintenance. He found a number of things that were installed wrong and figured out why our three zone was clicking off and on. He found water damage, no float value and a kink in a tube. Their policy states if they find anything wrong they send out a technician, same day, to repair the shoddy workmanship of the installer. I called Precision to come and evaluate the space/install for a water treatment system I had ordered. Tyler arrived on time and was diligent in figuring a way to make the system work. However, while Tyler was creating an estimate for me, I researched the system further (Aquasana), I realized I had made a mistake. I told Tyler I had cancelled my order because of what I discovered, and he and his manager had already prepared an estimate of a different type system that would better meet my expectations. Tyler took the time to explain in detail what maintenance would be required and what his recommendation would provide.
I appreciate the Precision professionalism and honesty. I can't yet comment on Quality, since I haven't had the system installed yet. However, by next week I'm sure I will be able to add to this review with positive comments

Mark F and Salvador came to my home on Tuesday, 01/25/22 to install a surge protector and write up the four-year maintenance contract. I explained that I worked from home and only had an available time slot from noon to 1p. Mark explained the importance of the maintenance agreement and the surge protector they installed for us last year. They arrived at 12:10 p and were done within 20 mins. I was very grateful for their timeliness as I just started a new job and they are very strict about the set in/out times during the day. Thank you for your service.

Recently had our AC ducts cleaned and had the air handler units cleaned inside (disinfected for Covid). The quote was to clean the inside of the air handlers, remove the blowers and clean & disinfect all, also clean the coils. I inspected them after they left and found only the coils had been washed. Nothing else was done, units still had accumulated old dust and dirt.
I emailed them photos and a complaint. Charged me $1025 for work that did not get done. After repeated emails to them, they finally called, I explained my grievance and that I wanted a refund on the work not completed. I was told they would "get back with me". Still waiting. A veteran owned company scams a veteran, that's sad.

Anthony arrived right at his scheduled time this morning and did a complete inspection and cleaning of our two air conditioners plus drained our water heater. He was extremely thorough and kept us updated every step of the way. Being new to the desert we needed educating and he had answers to all our questions and information on what we should do to keep our systems running and in good working condition.
When we purchased our garage air conditioner from Precision last spring we also purchased the two year maintenance contract which is well worth the money and we will be renewing it when this one expires. Thank you Anthony!

They sent a tech out on the 23rd of December. He was here for over 2 hours trying to clear a kitchen sink that was clogged. He did not appear experienced in the field, he also was on the phone with the office getting instructions on what to do. He tried to snake the line from the drain under the sink and complained on how the line was a one piece unit and not the standard section install.
I asked if he could install the proper drain pee trap, and he said he does not keep parts on his truck? I told him a hardware store was about a mile down the road, he said they only use parts from their warehouse, hardware store plumbing pee traps are sub standard. He tried snaking it from the roof vent and still could not clear the drain. The only problem was the kitchen sink, the other drains in the home were not effected.
After 2 hours he said they would need to come back on Monday, the office was closed until then for the Christmas holiday. I would need to allow them to camera the line, there was a major problem. He also had some little vacuum for water, he used it to drain my sink, but it kept blowing water out the exhaust on my kitchen walls before he emptied it.
He changed me 150.00. The next morning I called another company to get a second opinion and hopefully get it draining. The next company came out, snaked the line from under the sink, it cleared and was draining in about 20 minutes. Why would Precision send a non experienced plumber to clear a clogged kitchen sink drain, why would they not keep basic parts on the truck, why would they try to upsell a camera scope when the next plumber just cleared it with just snaking it?
Not happy, ripped off, and certainly wouldn't let them touch my A/C unit! Update my service was on 12/23 on Balmoral Ave in Mesa, you were able to delete my review on Google, did you delete my service record as well?

It goes without saying that if you willing bypass a home warranty company call out for another there must be something they are doing right. My wife and I suffered a triple punch this week with a broken and leaking water line behind the fridge, a faulty pressure regulator and a hot water heater leak. The first company we had out was from the home warranty company's provider list and they literally fixed nothing because the situation was different than what they thought and they did not have parts.
So when I woke up at 4 am to find the final nail in the coffin being the hot water heater leaking all over the garage floor I immediately called Precision. Not only did they respond the same morning but our plumber Kalin took the time to first diagnose the problems and then explain the process of fixing them. Yes precision was more expensive than a eighty dollar service call out fee but I would have paid double what they ended up charging us for the quick response and the excellent level of work that was done, and what they did charge was much lower than expected on another positive note. I will continue to use Precision and highly recommend them to everyone else.

Kevin the service technician was very friendly and personable. After discussing the details and problems with my furnace unit he had a good idea what might the problem was. After looking over the unit he had discovered the gas control valve was defective and needed to be replaced. Kevin continued to examine other areas to the unit and advised me that the coils to the AC unit appeared to be rusted and very corroded and was showing signs of possible or eminent failure with possible leakage of coolant.
After conversation with Kevin discussing the condition of the unit and how degraded the other components were l decided it was time to purchase a new unit. Knowing that my old unit was out of warranty and appeared to be in bad shape and was just going to keep having brake downs plus discussing with Kevin the amount of discount and peace of mind of having a newer unit installed. Kevin was so helpful and knowledgeable getting the new unit financed and setting process for getting it installed. Kevin is very professional and meticulous.

Full HVAC replacement requested and delivered. Sales and installation were excellent. The tech's were courteous, competent and respectful. The process took a full day, which was expected, the equipment was installed professionally not like my previous unit. All questions were clearly answered we couldn't be happier with the results. Clean up and removal of all debris was accomplished and explanation of operations. Would highly recommend this company. Yearly maintenance received and couldn't be happier with the technician and work performed year one after installation December 2020

Richie was amazing! We've been having issues with our A/C unit since we bought our house. We contacted Precision and immediately received a phone call to schedule an estimate for a new unit. They initially wanted to come out the next day but we were busy so they scheduled the next available time that worked for us. Richie showed up today and was extremely knowledgeable and took into consideration that our unit was not working with our kids in the house.
He was able to get us what we needed in a timely manner and now we will have a new unit installed Wednesday. Richie was just amazing through the whole process and very personable. Thanks Richie!

Cody and Anthony from Precision Air and Plumbing came to clean our ducts. They did an amazing job. Very polite and courteous. They were quick and efficient. They explained exactly what they were doing and each step. They apologized that they were not able to complete the sanitizing spray as they are out, but the office will work to schedule that once the products are back in stock. Great job, thank you to you both.

My HVAC wasn't blowing cold air in September and called Precision air and heating for diagnostics. I called them and got an appointment scheduled the very next day. Joshua showed up on time and identified there is a leak in our AC system. He explained about the manual leak detection vs dye based detection and answered all our questions to pick the one we want.
We also asked him a lot of questions about our HVAC setup and he politely answered all our questions for close to 2 hours! The price is reasonable and they gave us free maintenance package as well. I would recommend Precision for any air conditioning repair.

James Hatzler was my technician. He explained everything and showed pictures of work he did. He was on time and very nice. He would get 5 stars. The reason for four stars is that I had a scheduled appointment yesterday from 11 till 3 time span. At 2:50 I called because no ones had called or shown up. Oh my goodness, these people are horrendous. They can't make a six hour window to come look at an AC. They have now rescinded my 2 "free"" 2 year maintenance agreements. It's now apparent I was WAY over charged for the work completed but they left me no choice with no Ac and not being able to meet the time frames they laid out. Have repeatedly ask to have someone with some authority, call me with no response.
You can't make this up. I have found them to be untruthful and dishonest. If there is a response to this review I can assure you it is wrong. I was lied to repeatedly. If you call them buyer beware and it's a mistake. I thank Gina for her response. While it is woefully inaccurate and accusatory I urge everyone to not use this company. You have options and this should not be one of them. I wonder how they plan to deal with my warranty. Could have been solved most likely with a call from a senior manager which i never recieved. Guess we go to plan B

Back Story: Upon returning home from vacation, we noticed that our HVAC system was struggling to cool the house. After a day we went outside to find that the piping had froze and wasn't producing any cool air. After letting the pipes thaw, we turned on the A/C and it was working again. Actual Review: This is when I knew our "fix" was temporary so I called Precision (based on reviews) and they came to inspect.
They were able to come within a few days and after the inspection, the technician reported that our freon was extremely low, the water reservoir needed to be replaced along with some capacitors for the blowing fan. Well, the main issue (freon) was unserviceable because of it's older freon and it's not available anymore. Of course, the technician pushed us to buy a new unit but rather than spend $10,000+ we opted for a fix that would get us through the summer, which was around $950 which included 24/7 emergency service and 4 years of annual tuneups.
Being I was a little desperate and didn't do further research (kind of on the spot) I agreed to said fixes. The Issue: Well, a few days later our A/C crapped out again and it was the same issue as before. A little upset we called the 24/7 emergency line (which we paid $500 for) and the person on the other end said they were backed up and couldn't help for a few days.
Absolutely livid, we did the temporary fix from last time and got the A/C to work again. The very next day I shopped around and called a certified technician from a smaller company that came by the house the same day, identified the main issue and was able to fix it. The technician even told me that those "fixes" from Precision would've cost about half the price from them.
A little sick to my stomach, I should've known better but was just happy we have working A/C. It's been 2 weeks, the HVAC unit is working fantastic and (knock on wood) haven't had issues since. Days after the 2nd service, I felt compelled to contact Precision demanding a refund for the portion of the contract that involved the future emergency/service tune ups. It's been almost 20 days since leaving a message with their business office and even left an email to no response. Summary: Use Precision for basic tune ups of your HVAC and that's it.
I don't blame the technician for the work that was involved, so for that I give them some credit. However, this company operates in corporate fashion and will take you for every single dollar and then more. There are far too many small HVAC companies out there with far more integrity than Precision Air & Plumbing. Read before calling I had an issue with my AC unit it turned out to be the hard start capacitor I called precision air and heating on Friday night. They called me back Saturday morning and said they could be out as soon as the middle of next month because they schedule was busy. As we all know in Arizona we can't live without air-conditioning for a month being in the service business myself I thought that was a joke.
They assured me theyCould relate to my frustrations I don't think they could. So I called cousins air conditioning he was out with in a couple hours and had me fixed up for just a couple hundred bucks that's an awesome company if you need air conditioning service call them

0 stars for price 5 stars for the helpfulness and customer service of the tech that responded 2 stars for response time My AC unit is 17 years old but it only runs half the year because I have gas too. Anyways, it stopped working on 6/28. I contacted Precision and a day or so later I scheduled them to come out on their next available opening, which was 7/7.
The tech came out and was helpful and educational with info on maintaining my unit and servicing it. The service was $159 and then to pour hose water on my compressor for 5 minutes cost $161. After that, the unit started but he informed me the fan motor was bad and would need to be replaced. He advised Precision charges over $850 for that, but the price would drop by 20% if I signed up for their annual preferred customer plan, which cost $200.
And apparently the preferred plan will ensure next day service in case my fan broke, since it wasn't going to be replaced on this visit and he said scheduling it out would be a week or more. He then told me the run cap may have to be replaced which would cost over $100. I paid for the cleaning, "cooling" and the preferred customer plan hoping it would be worth it if I had to replace the fan, since I didn't want to wait another 1-2 weeks without AC.
I saw on his tablet that the $159 and $161 for the hose water "compressor cooling" was marked as non-negotiable by the company, so I'm not faulting the tech for those insane prices. And I'm assuming he's not at fault for the rest either. BUT, after the tech left, I consulted with a friend who used to work in the HVAC industry. He told me the fan motor costs $85.00 and the run cap costs $7. That's $92 total for parts and service I was quoted at being just under $1000. that is over 10X the cost for markup.
Which is shameful. Moral of the story, I paid my friend the $92 for parts plus $100 for his effort and speediness to come the next day and he replaced my fan motor and run cap for me. So I paid $192 for something they were going to charge me about $1000 for. he said an honest company would have charged me $300 TOTAL for the cleaning, cooling and the fan replacement.
And I believe him. I get big companies need to pay employee benefits and all the other business expenses. but a 1,000% mark up seems a bit excessive. And by a bit, I mean entirely excessive and they are just taking advantage of people.

Not happy. I had Precision out 4/24/2020 and paid $1343.84 to repair leaking coolant due to a bad weld on the service port. It worked ok through the summer. This year, as it started warming up, my AC was constantly struggling to get below 83 degrees. I contacted Precision on on 6/18 to have them come back out. They informed me they wouldn't be able to make it until today, 6/21.
Since I had already paid so much for repair, I decided I needed to wait on them. I get a call from them this morning (the day they're supposed to show up) and they inform me they are canceling my appointment and can't get someone back out until late July. My wife is 8 months pregnant, I work from home, and I am completely screwed here. It's 91 degrees inside my house.

In December of 2018 we had them install a new ac on a 1100 square foot house. In the summer of 2020 when it got over 110 the house would not cool below 85. Precision Air came out and told us that everything was working fine and that that was as good as its going to get. Our tenant just called saying the house won't cool past 87 degrees so I called Precision Air hoping for a better result.
The person who answered the phone was polite enough but did not disconnect the call when I said good bye. She was joking about us and told someone else in the office "that tenant is going to flip out". We have called another company to help us. I'll let you know how that goes but we are done with Precision Air.

Had some hiccups with a major plumbing repair project due to original pipes reaching their end of life, but Precision Air & Plumbing has since made good, or plan to make good, on resolving the issue. The contractors who performed the work were better than expected and respected my home during the duration of the repair. I hope to not encounter plumbing issues for a LONG time.
My only recommendation would be to make sure there is good communication with the project plan from beginning to end. I use Precision Air & Plumbing for my A/C repairs/maintenance on my home and rental property as well. They will still be a company I recommend to others.

We used Precision Air and Plumbing for a few years with good results. However in recent times we have had serious issues with them. We have uncommonly hard water and they had us remove our softener and. replace it with another technology which did not do what they described and caused scaling damage. They took back the new unit but charged us to purchase and install a new replacement softener.
I received no response when trying to reach out to Managment about rectifying this. We gave them another chance when we had a leak caused by a hot water heater and humidifier hoping we could offset the cost of the softener debacle. Scheduling was a nightmare, they made a huge mess on our patio and although promising to clean it up multiple times still never did.
I was in direct touch with service Managment and it still took weeks to get them out here to finish, and, the work area was left in a big mess inside the house We longer will be working with them ------ The business owner commented below but Yelp does not show a way for me to reply. It simply is not true that the service manager was trying to reach me.
I have his cell # and was texting about this for weeks without response over and over. I imagine you dont want to post that thread on here. Even if you were willing to come clean up the huge mess you mentioned nothing about removing our water softener on false information, causing scaling damage to our house and then charging us to put a new water softener back in!

Had a minor issue with an AC unit that was not operating efficiently and needed some attention. Since I have used Precision in the past, called them to have it repaired. Their tech James was sent and I found that he was one of most knowledgeable and efficient service techs I have met in a long time. He was able to quickly find the problem and have it in first class working order in a matter of 30 minutes. People like this are hard to find and I can attest that it is people like James that make a company a 5 star operation. Thank You to Precision and James for a job well done.
