Color Touch Painting

I begin by telling you that I am shaking all over I am so distraught over this painter. Todd pulled out of the job on the morning it was suppose to begin, with absolutely no good reason. He said he "had a feeling" that things were not right. That he didn't understand why I had a list of nit picky tasks that needed to be finished. What happened to the other guy that was working on you house?

It was because I was waiting for Milgard to repair the windows and because I needed an emergency skylight to be installed, so he had to move on. Todd left me in a bad spot, and he did not have a good reason for it. He never indicated, right up to the very day the job was to start that he had no interest in doing the work. For weeks, he could have contacted me to let me know he was not interested in the job.

To do this to me at the last minute shows me that he is not professional and that he does not care about anyone but himself. I wonder how many others he has done this to? He has so many good reviews that he can be as flaky as he wants, but it is plain 'bad business' to do this to someone at the last minute after committing to do the job, without a really good excuse.

Did a great job painting my two unit project. Reappraised much higher after all work including exterior painting was finished.

Color Touch Painting was great. i would highly recommend them. First, Todd gave us a reasonable quote after 4 other very high quotes. He worked with us on timing and some other glitches that we were responsible for. His painters worked hard and Todd checked their work. One day when a worker was out sick, Todd replaced him. Todd and his workers paid attention to detail and worked with us on some specifics. We will have color touch back for more work in the future.

The overall communication and response was awesome.from the first text to the final cleanup, the professionalism and friendliness of the entire team was top notch! We had the exterior of our 66 year old home painted. The care and attention to detail was impressive and appreciated. You won't go wrong working with Todd and his team!

Todd and his crew did an amazing job on the entire exterior of our house. We hadn't painted in 25 years and it really needed a fresh look. We interviewed many painters - Todd's quote was timely and he was able to fit us in within a few weeks. We had just completed a major remodel including a new deck and they were extremely careful not to drip any paint on the deck, or on any of the new flooring inside (which they covered and protected). Todd's crew were very friendly and patient, especially when I changed my mind on one of the trim colors, even helping me figure out what new color would be best. They were also very considerate of neighbors, since they had to work in two neighbors' yards to paint the back of the house. Highly recommend!

Just got to use Color Touch again for another exterior wall job (siding repairs & re-painting) - just as before, excellent pricing, communications and service by Todd & team. And our prior job from 2009 still looks new.

Color Touch did a fantastic job painting the outside of our house! Todd responded quickly to my request for a bid. He and his helper (Chris) showed up right on time and proceeded to do a clean and thorough job, which was completed on time and under budget!

Color Touch has painted much of my home, both inside and out. Todd has a great sense of color and his crew does superb work. I have had an opportunity to compare and the work Color Touch has done is clearly finer by comparison. I continue to recommend them as my first choice in painting.

Todd and his team just finished painting our new front windows. After his initial estimate a few months ago, the stars finally lined up and we were able to get the job started and completed. Todd and is crew are punctual and very professional. I look forward to hiring them again for future jobs.

We hired Color Touch to paint our new office space. With a fairly aggressive deadline, Todd and his help arrived on time, on budget and did a fantastic job. His price was very reasonable and he was nice to talk to. I highly recommend Color Touch to others.

I inquired regarding painting project for a client, got a response that Todd is very interested and "does very thorough detail oriented work" and wants to see the property to discuss in detail. On Friday he confirmed viewing for Tuesday at 11 AM (4 days in advance). On Tuesday morning he messaged me "Unfortunately my schedule has changed and would not be able to meet until tomorrow until about 2:00". Well, don't confirm then, it is that easy! Shows me very little respect for potential client.

Color Touch Painting did a great job re-painting a main hallway and two stairwells. They repaired all wall cracks, sanded the walls and did an outstanding painting job. They were punctual, professional and easy to work with. I highly recommend this company.

Todd and his Color Touch Painting team did a fantastic job on our particularly difficult wood-shingled apartment building. I had two other painting companies bid on the job but decided that I wanted someone who would take the time and perform the crucial prep work properly. They not only prepped very well but paid close attention to the details of painting the building.

I am very pleased to recommend Color Touch Painting. Todd and his crew recently completed the interior painting of our 1600 square foot pied a terre on Nob Hill. The job was done in a professional manner and in the time frame promised by Todd. His painters were fastidious and were careful to leave our flat neat and clean when they were done.

My husband and I got at at least 6 other estimates for painting our house exterior. Todd was always very responsive whenever we had questions, quoted a very reasonable estimate for doing the job, and cleaned up nicely after each day of work. He patched up an area where the wood had dry rot, and you couldn't even tell where it used to be. We are more than thrilled with the result! If you are planning on painting your house in the summer, book in advance! We waited until Todd's crew could do the job, but it was well worth it.

Job recently done and what a great job that Todd and his crew did! I am a person who either gives 1 star or 5 stars to share my thoughts of where to go or where not to go. Todd from Color Touch Painting is definitive one of the GOs! Color Touch Painting came to my house where we recently bought in San Francisco with all kinds of weird trim coloring with a pink bathroom to transformed it into our family's home for years to come. Todd is very good with pricing and his rate is about 30% less than other Paint Company that advertise on TV or the Radio.

I have to post this review so your yelpers know about the company since I found it on Angie's List but not yelp! I posted before and after image of my 1000 sf home with 10 ft ceiling so you can see what a night and day difference it is after Todd painted it. By the way it took Todd and his crew about 4 days to paint my interior. I will calling Todd in a few months for the exterior too!

My wife and I were very impressed with the quality of Color Touch's work. The painting was well done and was completed on schedule, despite the fact that we made several changes. The painting crew was very good at working around our Contractor and dealt well with our high-maintenance tenant.

We have worked with Todd for ten years and couldn't be happier. He and his crew do a fabulous job for a fair price. They are clean, professional and timely. I had to hire another company for a rental unit when Todd was busy and what a nightmare! I realize how lucky with Colortouch.

We used Todd for interior painting in 2007 and again for some remodeling projects in 2013. He has always been professional, knowledgeable and affordable. He is our 'go-to' painter. The first time he came to the house - he looked at my front door and immediately suggested staining it to bring out the wood's color. I hadn't thought of this idea and it turned out great - still looks good 6 years later; as do various rooms throughout the house.

In 2007, I got several wide ranging bids for painting, but Todd suggested ways to creatively work within our budget (paint walls v. ceilings, etc.). He also helped recommend a color palette. A great value. We came back to him again in 2013 and got the same great service.

Todd and his crew do the best painting in San Francisco. We presented him with a color scheme that many other painters refused to do and he did everything possible to make it happen. The work was done on time and done well. The final result was better than we could have ever asked for. Tourists frequently take pictures with the building because they find it to be such a classic look. If that doesn't show the quality work that Todd does, I'm not sure what will. Thanks Todd

Todd, Chris, and Moises painted the south side of our house, which is not easy because there is only a three-foot walkway between the house and the fence that makes up the property boundry. They had to set up ladders, tools, and paint in that narrow walkway, and it turns out they had to take everything down, then put it back up during the job because the neighbor had a party during the painting process.

They did that voluntarily, without complaint. As they were painting, they found some minor damage to the house, which they had replaced -- at cost. Color Touch did our job professionally, thoroughly, on-time, and on budget! We were completely impressed with their attitude and their work! We highly recommend them and will definately use them again.

We were a bit suspicious that all the previous reviews on this company were all posted by Yelp newbies with very little to no previous reviews submitted. That's usually a bad sign; but at least there are no negative reviews. Well, worry no more about that because here is the first one from a long time Yelper. We contacted a lot of painting contractors for bids to have the exterior of our home painted.

First there was the process of finding the painters (Craigslist, Yelp, Neighborhood Listserve, Newsgroups, Realtor). We called a few of the high-rated contractors on Yelp and never even received the courtesy of a return call from most of them. We limited our search further to those contractors who were licensed, bonded and carried workman's comp.

Then it boiled down to contract, timing and price. All in all, we received 8 painting bids ranging from $2000 to $14000. (Wow.) The Color Touch estimate was very fair and thorough and we would suggest that you go ahead and get all your bids, but to make sure Color Touch is one of them. Todd and his crew (with lead painter, Jessie) started working the day after we signed the contract.

They were done in 2 weeks and went above and beyond our expectations. We are absolutely thrilled with the work that that was performed and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. We are tough customers, hard to please, follow the contract to the letter, etc -- so it is an amazing feat that Color Touch receives our 5-star rating. There is no other way to rate this company after our experience.
