Top of the line furnace and central air installation work performed with great satisfaction on my end! Kristen Bagnall and her dad are THE BEST! By no means was this purchase the least expensive option--even for Carrier units this was expensive--but the service was second to none. We could not be more pleased. Wantuck installed our HVAC system 9 years ago and have serviced it ever since then. We have generally been satisfied with the system performance and with the twice-a-year cleaning and maintenance service. However, until Alex G. showed up this week for the spring service call, we didn't know what real service is. Besides being friendly, quick, responsive, professional, and easy to work with, he performed a much more thorough cleaning job than anything we had experienced previously. We definitely will request him for future service calls.

I feel I need to give this revue if you're in search to fix your air conditioner or Heater I truly recommend Wantuck Comfort Solutions. I recently had to get my heater fixed it wouldn't start and it was very cold out and I tried to call three different companies in the area and they all wanted me to make an appointment with them to come out in three or four days because there too busy until then.
My wife and I were too cold to wait that long. But I finely called Wantuck Comfort Solutions at around 1pm suggested by a friend and they said to me, would you mind if we come out around 10pm today or is that too late for you? To my surprise, I said YES, come out that would be great. They came out on time and the young man had it working in no time at all. I say, try this company, you won't be disappointed, their very nice people.

This was a seasonal call to check & balance the AC. I have yearly contract for this service with Wantuck and it pays in dividends. I and my father before me have been with Wantuck for years. I highly recommend this business! We live in an older building and wanted to upgrade from our windows units. Bill came out and did an estimate for installation, and their pricing for a Carrier ductless AC was much more reasonable than others. Installation workers were very professional and went above and beyond to get our system right. Thanks for the great service.

Wantuck has always been great for us. We have used them for a number of years and are very happy with their service. I have recommended them to family and friends and they have been happy with them too. We have had Mike, Ricky and Jeff all out to service our Furnace and air conditioning and they have been honest and really know their work. Their customer service is excellent too. Call the office and Monica and whoever else is in the the office do an excellent job of providing you with information you need. I strongly recommend this great company.

As a landlord, we have used Wantuck for years and found their professional service to be of great value to both ourselves and our tenants. They are responsive to emergency calls and very professionally when ever they go on site. We also use them for regular spring and fall checkups to make sure everything is up to spec. Keep up the good work. Highly recommend these folks.

0 Stars if that were only an option. Wauntuck repeatedly failed to correctly diagnose issues with both our thermostats and the underlying heating and cooling systems, all of which they installed for our home's previous owner no more than 4 years ago. The last straw came today when they came out to find that both our electric heat and radiator heating systems were totally nonfunctional, leaving us without heat or hot water. Wauntuck informed us that it would be "impossible" to get the needed parts for replacement same day, despite being told the obvious hardships this would create.
As it is currently 35 degrees out, I decided to call around to see if there was another solution. After having to call Wauntuck multiple times to get the number of the part we needed, I started to feel confident that they were hiding the ball. Sure enough, within 30 minutes I found a local supplier (hotwater911) that had the part in stock. Wauntuck holds itself out to be a quality company - they certainly aren't economical. I'm willing to pay for quality if I actually get it, but that's not the case here. You're just paying over market prices for rank incompetency and a total lack of care. If you're savvy, you'll look elsewhere.

If I could I would give them less than one star. I have been in the industry for 20 years and recommend wantuck to a family member thinking they were honest reputable shop, boy was I wrong! My family member explained to me that her AC wasn't working and explained what the unit was doing. From what she told me I first thought it was the capacitor but wouldn't be able to make it to her house anytime soon so she asked for recommendations.
After calling Wantuck and having them out they told her that she need a new unit and it would cost her $3500. She doesn't have that to spend so I freed myself and went over and troubleshot the unit and found that it was the capacitor a $16 dollar part! How dare a company try to steal from their customers like that! So unless you want to throw your money away I wouldn't call them for any of your future Hvac needs!

Terrible service. Didn't come prepared to go on our roof and charged us for the time it took them for a person to deliver a ladder. Instead of fixing our problem they did a minor switch which took 5 minutes and charged us $300. Totally scammed us, I called them repeatedly to talk to the technician about pricing and they never call you back. I've spoken with other companies and they have done a significantly better job.trust me you don't want to work with this company.

Hired them to move a pipe in my basement, going from HVAC to exterior. When they were done they left a pipe that was badly cracked and leaking. It caused a leak in our basement, while we were showing the home to potential buyers. I called them repeatedly and asked them to address the problem, or just refund me some of the money (I also sent them pictures of the shoddy work) and they never got back to me.

Our air-conditioner clogged, overflowed and flooded our third-floor landing at 1:45 in the morning on Wed 9/14 I had a flight to Cancun set for 9 o'clock that morning I called Wantuck at 7:30 they had a repair man out here by 9:30 or 10 o'clock. He fix the problem very quickly and I was able to reset my flight for Thursday 9/15. The service was terrific. Mike really know what he was doing. He was fast and very professional.

I had a great experience with Wantuck. I called after hours and got a service who immediately relayed my message to the owner. The owner called me within a couple of minutes, offered to try to tell me how I may be able to remedy the furnace not working to save me money but also offered to come. I wound up asking him to come, he was there in no time and he quickly diagnosed the issue to be my thermostat.
While he was there he pointed out one or two things that I should consider doing and I asked for a proposal which he furnished and based on the price, I will be contracting them to do the work in the coming weeks. It is hard to find contractors who not only are knowledgeable but can also communicate well - I have a fine appreciation that he knew how to explain things to me.

My previous HVAC guy recommended Wantuck. The first couple jobs were ok. They came out on time and fixed the problem, then gave me huge bills. The last job they did for me was unacceptable. They told me that two components of my heating system were broken and needed to be replaced. They would charge each component about $500. That was $1000 for parts only.
Then they would charge $300 to install them. Total bill would be $1300. No thanks. Next day, I had another HVAC technician came to fix the problem (2nd opinion). He only replaced one component. The other one was working just fine. Total bill was $350! He told me that $150 was for part and $200 was for labor. I was so happy and paid him. After my place was warm again, I went online to check on the price of the part.
It was $100 for the exact brand and model. I couldn't believe that Wantuck was so greedy and add the mark up 500%. I understand that people are in business to make money but 500%? Seriously? The second HVAC guy was more reasonable and only marked up 50% for the part. Basically, Wantuck misdiagnosed the problem and tried to over charged me. They think that people would pay anything to get the heat going in winter. Bad business model.

I called wantuck because a very good friend recommended them to check on my ac unit for my business. Thinking they would be honest and professional and know what they are doing. Not the case here. They came out and told me that my unit is so old and it would cost alot to repair and that I would need a new one. The next day a "salesman" comes out and quotes me a new one at 10,000-12,000 dollars.
Being a new business owner, that couldn't happen. So I called someone else to see and low and behold I had too much gas. Never will use this company again. The worst customer service and a straight rip-off. I lived in a condo building and they were recommended by our building manager to service our units furnace. We signed a package deal for them to service it twice for the year. During this whole time, no one called us or left a message to schedule a time to service our furnace.
A year later, I realized no work has been done and called to inquire. The customer service is terrible. Be aware the lady who answers the phone has no manners nor care for the customers. She informed no one had come for service because it was our responsibility to call them. Call them?! Anyway, she said she will send out a technician for next week Saturday.
That Saturday, no one came nor a phone call. Entire day wasted waiting for them. We wanted to give them a second chance to correct the problem but just did not want to deal with their mediocre served ever again. Instead, we requested our money back from our service agreement. So let this be a warning to anyone thinking of using their service. You might as well throw money down the drain because they have no clue how to run a business.
