We had a really good experience with Green Air Care. They came out to our house same day, referred our issue to the team that enlarges air returns, with the plan to repair after return enlarged. They came back out to see what repairs were needed and turned the system on and inspected it and it worked perfectly, no further repairs needed. We are going to use them for another house.

I purchased AC and Furnace and was installed Nov 20,2020, No problem with installation. But when I called for AC tune up I got scheduled on May 31,2022 between 9-12 and around 11:30 I called to remind them that I am waiting but the lady said they cancelled my appointment due to their people has some emergency and ask me to reschedule it. I told her to schedule on the earliest possible and she said August 24th.
I can't believe they pushed me almost 3 months from my appointment that they cancelled and summer is almost over on that time (for an AC tune up) They should find a way to schedule me on June because they cancelled my appointment not me. Bad customer service and I'm stuck.

Green Air Care is a huge liability to workers, customers and properties! I would not recommend to anyone. They do not follow Illinois by law 815 ILCS 513/25 (ilga.gov), which states "Insurance is required by any person engaged in the business of home repair and remodeling shall obtain and maintain in full force and effect during the operation of the business public liability and property damage insurance".
They installed a new AC/Heater for us in Nov 2021 came with insurance then. Then when they returned in May 2022 to start up the AC that they were suppose to have installed in Nov 2021 they did not come with insurance. And the technician needed to get on the roof to startup the AC. I called the office and lady named Alissa mentioned they don't need to send technician with insurance to repair & if I truly needed it they needed 48hr notice to provide technician insurance and I would have to reschedule.
When I asked to speak to manager to state insurance is required for all workers for all properties, she said she was the manager & that she knew they didn't need it. This is a standard of safety for all the worker, customers & properties. Therefore, I would not recommend they are a huge liability to workers, customers & all properties and unknowledge of the bylaws.
In response to their comment below: There was no misunderstanding your front office manager said what she said as noted above. And to top it of instead of following corrective actions, her response was "well the technician is not going to stand there longer then 10 minutes." Not taking accountability for your services not having the insurance. Very unprofessional service.

Had our air ducks cleaned, got basic package but just brought this house and was very bad. Was told needed the top package cleaned out and thought was a sales pitch and was not and Christan and Jaydon were awesome. Explained to me showed pictures snd the work after was well worth it for our health. They will be servicing my heat and air conditioning also verry happy with service!

Had my water heater blowout on Tuesday. Used my Fidelity home warranty and Green Air Care was able to work with them for my replacement. The tech was on time and communicative, very polite and did a really nice job with getting rid of the soft drywall that the old water heater sat on and put some new plywood down. Really happy with my new water heater.

There's nothing worse than not being able to shower due to your hot water heater dying. Green Air Care technician did an amazing job removing my old water heater and installing a new one while bringing my home back up to code. He was extremely professional, expeditious, and my hot water was back up in running just only a few hours after I called out my service request.

Our water heater started leaking Sunday night, thankful it was a slow leak! Called Green Air Care Monday morning and they had someone out by 2PM. Technician surveyed what needed to be done, gave me the bid and started work. By a little after 5 the new heater was installed, all code changes were up to date and we had hot water again before 6PM. Excellent service all around! Thank you!

Used these guys twice and was very disappointed both times. They installed a UV light in our furnace and claimed it would kill mold/spores. We later found that air travels too fast through the furnace for the UV light to kill mold and that it is only killing mold off our AC coils. A second time we had them service our humidifier, afterwards we heard a clanking sound so we called them back out.
The technician listened for a clanking sound for 5 minutes and didn't hear anything and he charged us $100 for coming out and literally doing nothing. We realized later how much they overcharged us for multiple other things. We had a tech named Saul who was incredibly rude and not helpful at all. When my wife tried to ask him a question he said "I am trying to work, please wait until I'm done". He wasn't helpful at all. I would not call these guys.

Hired them for performing furnace maintenance, they found an issue with the blower motor and recommended to replace it. They charged $550 labor (not parts) for a work that took less than 20mins for the technician. Utterly ripped me off - and when pointed this out - no response. My fault, I should have shopped around a bit before proceeding.

My furnace died Valentine's night. I had used Green Air before but wasnt sure if they had emergency service. One place I called was closed for the "holiday". We have waited over a month for our air duct cleaning, we had a coupon for $189. The inspector came in opened our air vent and told us we would have to buy the $500 package in order to do a "good job" and "deep clean". Even after we said on the phone that we didn't want to purchase the upgrade. Then told us we would have to schedule a new appointment, and left with out doing any type of clean.
Just sent me the quote. It's not even about the price, but if I wanted to get the upgraded clean, why would I have to call and make a new appointment after waiting that long? We will not be making another appointment.

This is my first time using a vent cleaning service. The technician was knowable and clearly explained the entire process and made our options easy to understand. The guys were professional and punctual. First time they came in, they saw the hardwood vents and said that it would be a risk to pry them open with new stain. They made sure they rescheduled and came back to do a thorough job while offering evidence off before and after photos. One improvement opportunity is for them (green air care) to have the customer service line representatives to be sure of what risks the customer should be aware of (such as newly finished flooring vents) to avoid rescheduling.

I had a complete HVAC system installed & just recently started using the heater. Since I started using it there is a distinct noise coming every time the heat runs. Since my heats was working I waited until after the holidays to get it checked out. Everyone up to this point has been great with communication. I chose this company for the guarantee & price.
When the tech came out today - of course the sound didn't happened in the 20 mins he was here. I had several videos. He looks at me and says are you sure it's not this loose register - I looked back and like I'm very sure. Like I'm some dumb women who can't differentiate sound issues. Then he said I think it's just this cord hitting your furnace- but it's not.
I get it sound wasn't happening while he was standing there but you have no other suggestions then you will have to keep calling to have us come out to hear it (and be charged each time) yeah not thanks. Thanks for great customer service.

We have had our ducts cleaned approximately 5 times in our 14 years in our home. Green Air Care is by far the best one! Cristian and Felix did an excellent job! Christian was extremely knowledgeable about air duct cleaning and both were a pleasure to have in our home. I highly recommend this company. We were also able to get our appointment moved up to a few days after I called.

I had a technician come out and take a look at the whole house humidifier from Bryant that had been installed by the previous owners in 2015. This guy tells me that they don't make the solenoid switch (a necessary part) for this humidifier anymore, and it costs around 400$ for a new one, the same amount for which I'd get a new system. And he leaves suggesting that I get a new system installed from them.
I had another technician come over from Home Depot to take another look, who not only fixed the system without a new switch, he also told us that it cannot be possible that they'd stop making parts for a system as latest as one manufactured/installed in 2015. And he was right, i googled and was able to find the solenoid switch on Amazon for around 25$.

Stay away from this company. Their ad shows a Carrier AC and furnace regular price of $5850 on sale for $2385. There were no disclaimers or any limits in the ad. We had a rep out and he gave us a price of $5656 for a 2 ton unit and furnace plus a $650 crane charge for a total of $6306. When we showed the rep the ad he got noticeably upset but couldn't do anything about the price.
When we talked afterwards with the sales manager Alex he was rude and unapologetic and would not move one dollar off the quote. This ad is very deceptive and I would never recommend using this untrustworthy company

My heat went out and Patrick with Green Air came out. He was very professional and a super nice guy. He gave me a quote within an hour as well as financing options. I told him I had a lower quote and he said he would do what he could to match it. Unfortunately, the quote I ended up going with was almost $1,000 less. Had I not received that last minute quote, I would have defintely gone with Green Air. They will be first on my list next time I need anything mechanical done in my home because of their professionalism and thoroughness!

They apparently either have terrible record keeping or are fraudulent. We spent over 8000 dollars to have them install 2 A/C units, and when one of them required warranty servicing recently, they claimed they had no record of the installation. We found the original documents (including a financing agreement) and they still claimed that they did not do the installation. Terrible company, do not even think of using them.

I reached out to Green Air Care after being suggested by a friend. They were very responsive and send out a technician to visit and he explained to me what he saw and what is the process. I appreciate people who can explain what they do, I had a few questions which they answered satisfactory and I decided to go with them. They actual cleaning was good and I am happy with the service. Bait and switch tactics! We had a new HVAC system installed (two systems in my home) and part of the contract was to include duct cleaning. They showed up for the cleaning and said that the cleaning was only for the ducts on the new system. Nowhere on the contract does it say the duct cleaning was specific to the new system only. The contract. actually says "unlimited ducts".
When I called the office I was told that it would get done. The sales person called and tried to tell me it was MY misunderstanding that the cleaning was only for the new system and that it wouldn't make sense to clean the ducts on the old system anyway. (Excuse me?) I was told it would be TWICE THE CONTRACTED PRICE to have "all" the ducts done in my house. No, thank you. Cancelled the job order and expect a refund. I'll spend my money on a company where they honor a signed contract.

This company under the pretense of repair sells you cheap parts with a markup of more than 2500 percent. Yes, more than twenty-five-hundred percent. When I asked Joe for the capacitor he replaced (50/5-440V), he came up with a story even he did not believe: it contains high amounts of mercury and it needs special disposal. It happens I am a licensed electrician and and I know as a fact capacitors DO NOT contain mercury. Aluminum only.
This made me think the capacitor he "replaced" wasn't even bad, as he took it with himself, not before I took a few pictures, I gladly attach. The blue inscription capacitor is the one he took out, next picture is the price for the same equivalent online, and the third picture is the receipt I got. Next step is opening a dispute with the BBB since I am expected to be told they sell parts with a 2650% markup.

I give this company 5 stars, my wife and I had numerous companies come out and quote us on a new a/c unit and all those companies wanted to do is sell us on things we did not need. Green air care came in and told us exactly what we needed at a very reasonable price. The service techs were excellent and very efficient with the install. This company was fabulous! Very thorough, explained everything they were doing and spent 3 hours on my 1450 sq ft house. Did my duct work, sanitized and cleaned my dryer vent (which was just amazing how much stuff they got out of it and we blow it out all of the time!) THESE PEOPLE ARE SCREAMERS! MINUS 1 STAR. Don't go with GREEN AIR CARE as you will waste your hard-earned money! When they came to conduct a job we ordered, they wanted to sell us a $600+ service instead of the $189 we ordered by claiming that the service we bought is not good AT ALL. (which all it is, them using a GAS power vacuum instead of an electric vacuum that comes with the $189 DEEP AIR DUCT CLEANING) The Tech, well more of a Salesman tells me, you have a 2-story home and the electric vacuum will not be enough to suck all the debris and dirt from the vents and main system so we need to use the GAS POWERED vacuum to make sure it reaches to the 2nd-floor supplies and returns vents.
So an extra $410 for them to take the gas power vacuum out of the van and wheel a short distance to the back window to hookup to our furnace, which keeps in mind, I had this done before and all the pre-existing holes were already there and all they had to hook up was the holes. Question - why did they advertise the service that DOES NOT WORK AT ALL because of cheap Equipment so they say?
Answer - to attract the consumers by misleading them and charge a higher price. Well, we stood with our initial order as we did the same service several times in the past, and it worked very well for us. And I informed them, I want to go with the $189.95 coupon from the original price of $289.95 and the TECH/Salesperson just walked away and left our house cause he was Dissatisfied.
Because he was forcing me to choose the extra $410.00 to do the SAME service, but use a SO-CALLED much more powerful vacuum, than their electric vacuum as they called it. Which to me is BS. Cause if that was the case, then get a better vacuum and don't force to charge people a higher price! BAD REVIEWS on www.bbb.org

What's up with hvac cleaning services. After failed attempts of duping me from alternate companies. I called green air. They seemed reputable with many reviews. I was scheduled a service for $189.99 DEEP. CLEANING. The tech shows up and does the hvac song and dance. Very typical. Immediately goes into writing up estimate for roughly $450-500. My mom needed a new furnace and AC unit installed badly! She has lived in her home for about 20 years so everything needed to be gutted and replaced. As a Mother's Day gift I began scouting several companies that could offer great service at a reasonable price. I compared 5 prices in my area and none came close to the deal GAC gave me. I kid you not, I had one company qoute me double what GAC did.
Once the two men came, they handled everything so professionally, it was a 6 hour project but it was done very well. They didn't pressure my mom for anything she didn't need and they explained to her how to use the new thermostat. I could not have had a better experience and my mom is very happy. I would highly recommend them, when it is time for me to upgrade my units, I know who to call.

They are just scam artists. They came to check my AC and charged $300 for nothing. Their service fee is 129$, and they charged another 170$ to just look at the AC.What's more intersting is that they also broke my heater while checking the AC. When i ask them about what happened with my heater, they wanted to charge again if they fix what they had just done. Real scam artists.

Made an agreement with this company with the salesman his name is David I believe. And I asked him they would only get this contract if I had one condition. Run a new thermostat line. It was a small cable. He agreed and said it wouldn't be a problem he would tell his installer to do it. So we agreed that they would take the contract. The day of installation they came and installed the equipment but did not change out the line that we agreed on.
The installer said that the salesman never told him anything about that and when he called the salesman he said they don't do it. i'd be careful with this company I promise you things just to sell you things and they don't keep their promises. My thermostat doesn't work properly because of this cable that they didn't not replace.

I recently moved into a new home that clearly had a lot of pets living in it previously. I'm allergic to cats and had an allergy attack just from vacuuming and shampooing the carpets! Total bait and switch company. Will lure you in with a "special" price only to then say they can't give you that "special" price because your ducts are too dirty - they can clean the ducts for an additional $200 more. Like really!?! That's why you're here to provide a cleaning service - use the equipment and clean it according to what was detailed before the two workers (who used a cell phone camera to take pictures vs an inspection camera that can see deep into the ducts). Avoid this company - I hate having my time wasted.

Wow this guys are pros! Let me tell you, I just moved to Chicago and bought a house with a dinosaur furnace/AC. Called a few companies and got estimates. Alex from Green Air Care was the only company that was going to replacing everything from top to bottom for less then everyone else. Day of install, install crew where on time and these guys where amazing!
I had my furnace, AC, Humidifier, water heater and ecobee replaced and these guys were on point. They went above and beyond. Started at 930am and finished around 630pm. What they did for the price you shouldn't call anyone else! Very professional, clean and everything they needed from the littlest things they had in there van. My old system was from 1983.
Didn't need big box stores. Thank You very much! Update 6/21/2020 hasn't even been an year and AC has stopped working twice. First time was an easy fix, now this time around I can't even get a hold of the company. BS about them being 24/7 no one will pick up you're calls after hours. Spent close to 7k and still have no AC!

Green Air Care was referred to me by neighbor who had a good experience as well. I called in Alex for a quote, he came in promptly on time, looked at existing HVAC and provided a quote that beat other quotes that I got from few other companies. Crew came in a few days later to install the new HVAC. Very professional, had the work done by end of the day. Overall, I had good experience with this company. I have also signed up for duct cleaning with this company.

I posted the below review and the business owner wants me to remove because my Yelp profile has me in California. I used to live in California and now I live in Naperville. This review is for Green Air Care out of Buffalo Grove, IL. He asked that I call the office to resolve, I did that when the incident happened and they blew me off.now after my yelp review they want to resolve. NO THANKS.KEEP YOUR LOW YELP RATING.

I called in May to schedule my annual ac maintenance and they are booked for 2 months. I wait two months to have the guy tell me my Freon is low ($130) and I need a new capicitator ($300.00). I look on amazon and the cost of the capicitator is $ 27.00.
I am all for a company making a profit but 1000% markup seems ridiculous, the guy told me it takes two minutes to put in. I cancelled my membership and will never do business with these guys. Horrible & rotten company to work with.be aware!

Cancelled last minute the first time due to a truck not working, which I was understandable about. but then they said it would be another month to get back on their schedule. fast forward that month. they called to confirm my appt last night and didn't show up today. No calls, just had me sitting around waiting for three hours and nothing. Rude. Guess I'll be looking for a different company.

Learned a lot from the owners of this company and a technician named Eli when i worked for them they were just a small business starting from the ground up i highly recommend the services they offer as someone. who worked for them right beside the owner or by myself with the knowledge they taught me. they take great pride in what they do.
