Rob and his crew listened to and understood what we hoped for for the hardwood floors in our new home and they really delivered. Rob and his crew did an amazing job on a home we just purchased. The original hardwood floors were decent, but in need of a refresh. Also, there was a section of the floor that was an eye-sore from an old furnace unit that was removed. The previous owner covered the hole with just a piece of wood. Rob's crew was able to bring new life back to the floor and repair the makeshift hole cover, blending the old and new wood seamlessly!

Rob was extremely professional in dealing with us on our precariously scratched hardwood floor. These hadn't been maintained properly since they were installed and we needed to have them refinished quickly so our house could be listed on the market. We chose the 24 hour/one coat polyurethane finish because that is all he said they really needed and was honest with his assessment.

The work was done beautifully, the cost was efficient and properly priced for the amazing work their company provided. We would highly recommend them for any of your hardwood floor needs.

Prestige Flooring took on my difficult job of replacing a tile kitchen floor with solid ash and matching it to an existing ash floor. Excellent work and a beautiful floor when finished.

I am very bad about writing reviews and rarely get around to writing them. Prestige refinished our floors in Poway a few years ago and after all this time we are so happy with the results I am compelled to share our positive experience. We had engineered hand scraped hard wood all through out our 3,600 sq foot home. After a couple years the finish started to peel/fail due to poor manufacturing.

After talking to a few different floor refinish companies we thought our only option was to completely rip and replace (costing tens of $ thousands)since the depth of the hanscraped grooves were pretty deep and could not easily be sanded down to a smooth finish. Luckily Prestige came to the rescue. Rob was awesome to work with and his crew did a fantastic job sanding our existing flooring down to a smooth level surface with a beautiful finish - saving us a ton of money.

We also had some areas with water damage that they replaced with a seamless transition to the existing area. They are true craftsmen and take great pride in their work.and the results speak for themselves. Years later we are still so happy with how our floors turned out and thankful we chose Prestige!

I closed on a condo and the next day called to arrange my hardwood floors be refinished. I talked to the main man, Rob. Not only did he show up the same day (knowing I wanted to get the project started ASAP) to give me an estimate, he talked me out of refinishing my floors. Rob said they really didn't need anything but an appropriate cleaning. The previous owners had no doubt used a product not intended for hardwood. Rob is an honest and professional businessman!

Their service was very professional. they were very nice and they came over to do an estimate which was a problem for another company I called. They gave me a lot of options and I chose to do the least expensive option. I'm very happy with the results.

Rob's crew led by Alex refinished the floors in my 1923 bungalow. I had been told by three separate companies that they could not be refinished and I was gearing up to spend $15,000. for new oak floors. I called Rob to interview him about the installation job. He walked in and said "in a house like this don't you want to save the original floors?" That was exactly what I wanted but everyone else saw $ signs at the prospect of convincing a novice that new floors were the way to go. Rob refinished my floors and they are beautiful, far exceeding all my expectations.

He is extremely honest, foregoing a big paycheck and taking great pride in doing a skilled job. Furthermore, the timing on the project was exactly as scheduled. It was such a pleasure doing business with him. I saved a lot of money and saved the floors in my bungalow.

We needed a wood floor restored in a 1953 home that had been abused horribly over the years. We did not have high hopes that is would be restored completely but just need it to look much better than it was. We only had the living room, dining room and hall ways refinished. Robert and his team did a fantastic job! They were punctual, left the work area clean and completed the work to schedule.

These guys are true professionals. They know their trade and are highly knowledgeable. I had a consultation with them and they determined that my floor was still im good shape and that refinishing would be a difficult procedure based off the thickness of my flooring. Another company prior told me that it was possible without looking at the sample that I had. Honest company, make sure to look them up for your next flooring project.

Rob's team did a great job refinishing our hardwood floors! They are very meticulous to the detail of the wood and how the finish product turned out, they were very professional and kept our house as clean as possible, and they worked within our timeframe to get it done as quickly as possible while maintaining a superb finish to our flooring. Just had the original hardwood floors that have been under carpet refinished and they look brand new thanks to Rob and his crew! They had to replace a few pieces that had termite damage and some pieces where the old heater vent was but they matched them perfectly! Couldn't be more pleased! I thought my hardwoods needed a deep cleaning and recoating, so I called Prestige, and Rob showed up the next day, on time. He examined the floors and determined that the problem was a build-up of cleaning product. It has created a tacky finish on the floor that was attracting dirt. He recommended that I buy a $25 bottle of floor cleaner, called IFT Intensive Floor Treatment, and try cleaning it myself.

He even went down to his truck to get a sample and tested it on the floor. It worked! He said to use the cleaner until the floor's surface was smooth. He said it wasn't necessary to recoat the floors as the finish was in good shape. I appreciated Rob's honesty and patience in answering my many questions. When I called him the next day to thank him, he spent 10 minutes answering more questions and offering more suggestions. Ultimately, I didn't end up hiring Rob, but I would if the need arises. Give this guy your business!

We reached out to Prestige Floors after reading many of their customer's glowing reviews online. Having now worked with Robert, Will and their team, I am ready to write one of my own. We hired Prestige Floors to rip out our old carpet, remove the tack strips, refinish and stain the house's original wood floors and put on moldings.

I contacted Prestige Flooring to refinish my hardwood floors in late November. Their estimator came to the house within 2 days of the call. He was very informative and professional and left a written estimate.

Easy to work with professional team! Wanted to give feedback on a full tear out and install of 2 1/4 oak wood floors I had original floors in my 1920's craftsman. Back when I bought the home 8 years ago I had hardwoods but in the back 2 rooms that were an extension to the original home. I didn't realize how beat up the original floors were back then so I had to 2 rooms done to match the originals.

I called the same team that did my floors 8 years ago to bid on removing the original floors and feather into the back 2 rooms. I was very happy with them and fully expected to give them my business. Once they did the bid it was twice as much as the bid they had given me two years ago, knowing the floors needed to be redone after the posts and piers were done on the home. Ahhhhh, the joys of old homes!

So I decided to have a couple more bids.still fully expecting to give them my business. Will came out the same day I called. We discussed the options and he said Rob would be in contact with me once he was back from vacation. Rob came out and brought me to the reality that we couldn't feather into the back floors because of the height difference in the back 2 rooms.they needed to level the floors in the back because of the existing foundation wall interfering with the leveling of the floors.

I was bummed thinking I would actually have level floors with no transitions throughout the house! Rob gained my trust in knowing his business. I had gotten his name from a friend who had some patch work done. Since this was a full install I wanted to be sure I was making the right decision.this is a huge investment! His bid was very reasonable.the full scope of work was addressed.

Changing the way the wood was laid down to make the house seem more open, transitioning into the back rooms, changing the color in the back rooms to match a lighter stain throughout the house. Floors arrived to acclimate for a couple weeks, job progressed nicely from there. Once the install was done we lived in it for about a month before they finished them. They are absolutely gorgeous. These Guys nailed it! The Centro Cultural de la Raza, Nonprofit in Balboa Park, needed help repairing a previously poor attempt to resurface the dance floor. We were nervous but Rob and his team walked us through the process, remained flexible and patient with us, even during scheduling conflicts. We are ecstatic at the results as they got sketches out and staining that we thought were permeant to the floor.

They even offered great suggestions on adding murals to the thin Plywood boarder. obviously they art artists at heart! We highly recommend them and will use them for all our wood floor needs!
