Tellurian Gardens

Contacted March 22,. Finally got an appointment April 29th. On June 4th received word they would not bid on my project. Waited a long time to hear this when other contractors bid and were waiting to hear back after all bids were in.

Scott and his crew replaced our front porch deck, pillars and a smaller porch with timbertech products Scott was very professional, providing a detailed estimate within a few days of meeting us and except for a small change order (discussed and approved ahead of time) the estimate was exactly what we paid. The work was done quickly and expertly. Scott is a perfectionist and his work is flawless.

He communicates well, keeping us informed of his start date, progress, and anticipated finish date. I particularly appreciated his design skills and suggestions. We highly recommend Tellurian Construction and Scott.

Scott took our backyard remodel vision to the next level with his stunning woodwork and unique design ideas. He included our 1964 mid mod style and concrete walls while updating the overall look with gorgeous teak and batu wood platforms, fencing and swivel doors. We highly recommend his designs, wood work and incredible talent/professionalism!

As an engineer, I work with a lot of contractors, and Scott is by far one of the best I've worked with. Scott does high quality work, is very honest and trustworthy, and personable. During our project he clearly communicated every step of the way, was willing to work with us on all sorts of design decisions, and had some very good and creative ideas of his own that we incorporated into our deck, and are very happy with the results.

We had a few change order items, but Scott worked with us to keep costs down and was very good at clearly communicating the necessary increases in cost before he did the work, and kept his work within the estimates. The final product is even better than we had imagined it would be (thanks to some of Scott's ideas), and we will hire Tellurian Construction again if we have a big project like the last one. I highly recommend Scott and Tellurian Construction.

We had a fantastic experience with Tellurian Gardens. Scott and Erin are personable and knowledgeable. Their team of guys worked extremely hard in blistering heat and were very pleasant to have around; in fact, my kids still talk about them! The end product is just what we hoped for and solidly constructed. Scott was always available to discuss modifications and receptive to our input. I highly recommend working with them!

The Tellurian Gardens crew did a terrific job for us, from initial design to completion. Our project involved a new multi-level deck, patio and landscaping for our backyard, which was pretty much a blank slate. The design process was fun and highly collaborative. Scott was good at listening to our input and incorporating it into his designs. At the same time, he wasn't shy about suggesting a better way and using his considerable expertise to steer us to a better solution.

I can't say enough about the skill and reliability of their installation crews. They showed up when they said they'd show up, and worked quickly and efficiently. Any problems or questions that arose were quickly addressed. We are absolutely thrilled with the finished product and wish we'd done it years earlier. All in all, an extremely positive experience. We recommend them highly.

We called on Tellurian Gardens to replace our old, cracked patio with water-permeable pavers, and to add a small flagstone seating area elsewhere in our back yard. The patio had long been a problem during heavy rains when water would collect, occasionally in sufficient quantity to cause minor flooding of our basement. Tellurian Gardens worked with us to craft a plan manage the water, and they installed a beautiful patio based on that plan. Concurrently, they added a charming seating area at the back of the yard.

In the end, we have two gorgeous areas in our back yard, and our flooding problems have disappeared (the definitive test came last week when torrential storms didn't create so much as a puddle). Tellurian Garden's workers were accommodating, efficient and friendly, and the project's pricing was reasonable, especially in light of the quality we received. There is nothing about the project that we aren't pleased with, and we readily recommend Tellurian Gardens to anyone considering outdoor improvements for their home.

We moved into this house five years ago and the yard was a disaster. Chain link fence through the middle, dilapidated tin shed, concrete everywhere and a total jungle of weeds and ivy vines. The first summer we cleared a lot out, but it quickly became clear to us that we were in over our heads and needed to hire professionals. Scott and Erin were amazing to work with from the very beginning, Scott came out and got a good idea of what he was working with and asked a lot of questions, so he could understand what we wanted in our yard.

We got a reasonable estimate of costs and timeline for the work to be completed. We chose Scott over a second estimate we got, and we're so glad we did. He had us pick out what type of stones and color of pavers we wanted, along with some useful tips from him. He did not do plants because we wanted to plant those ourselves. The Tellurian Gardens team got to work pretty quickly, after a few tricky weather days that we had expected. Daniel was professional and proficient in landscaping our yard.

He put in the appropriate drainage system and overall did a fantastic job, it became obvious to us that we could not have done what they did on our own. The whole project took only a few weeks and Scott kept us informed of the progress the whole time. Now we have a beautiful, professional looking yard and patio to enjoy this summer with friends and family.

I would absolutely use Tellurian Gardens again and would recommend them to others who are looking for an efficient, professional company who does high quality work at a reasonable price.

It went extremely well. Excellent crew and management. Highly responsive to add on work and minor adjustments. Site was kept clean and my driveway and garage was always accessible to me though work going on on both sides most of the days. There was a LOT going on with this remodel - and all was handled very, very well. We now have a beautiful yard.

Scott and his team were a delight from start to finish. Scott took our ideas, as rudimentary as they were, and added his own expertise and experience to create a yard that delights us every day.

I shopped around for almost a year interviewing and taking bids from every landscaper I could find, you can say I'm very picky. I finally decided on going with Tellurian Gardens. They gave us a back yard sanctuary to relax and entertain in all year round.

We were happy with our experience with Scott and his crew, from design of the new patio and fence to completion of the project. Besides the esthetics of the project, we were concerned about drainage because the new patio would be next to the back of our house, causing concern about the potential of basement flooding if the plan did not include proper drainage.

My project turned out beautifully. At our first meeting, Scott met with me and my landscape designer. We decided to undertake the hardscape, which was the first stage of the design. Scott put in a paver path from the front of my house around the side to the backyard (with steps where there was incline), and posts with lighting along the way.

We hired Tellurian Gardens to do a total makeover of our yard, and what a transformation we got! They removed our overgrown hodgepodge of shrubs and replaced them with new and interesting native plants and trees that fit the scale of our garden. Scott and Pat really know their plants, and they worked with us to pick just the right plants for our yard and lifestyle.

Our property is narrow and deep, but Scott and team made great use of the space and created a flow to draw you into different areas of interest. They put a raised bed and a covered bench in the back corner and built us a new paver patio and walkways. We loved the stonework so much that we had them dig up our poured concrete front walk and replace it with pavers so everything is unified.

They added irrigation to keep things green in the summer months. Some path and accent lighting mean we can enjoy the landscape well into the evening. They replaced our weathered and deteriorating fence with a sharp new cedar fence and beautiful, hand-crafted gate. Kyle's craftsmanship is impeccable. No project is without problems, but there were very few issues to contend with.

I only mention them here to emphasize that Scott and his team were very responsive to any concerns we had. If any correction was needed, they acted quickly and thoroughly to make things right. That is a true sign of professionalism and a commitment to customer satisfaction. We couldn't be happier with our new yard and with the team from Tellurian Gardens. It was a pleasure working with everyone on the team. We would definitely hire them again, and we highly recommend them to our friends and neighbors. Thank you, Scott!
