They came to fix a copper pipe. We already knew where the leak was. 10 minute job. They charged me $325 which I thought was high but needed it done. I asked them to check the feast of pipes and do this. Just ran the water in my bathroom, never checked any thing. The also recommended a painter to fix the ceiling, a friend. he wanted yo charge me $650. another painter charged $450 for same work. I think they were over chafing because I was a woman. Bad on me for not getting second quote.

I had a slab leak this week and when I called Plano Plumbing & Leak Detection, Jack answered the phone to hear about our situation. He still managed to squeeze our consultation/visitation into his busy schedule to identify and inform us of the cause of the leak and how it can be fixed. Jack returned calls if they were missed to ensure everything was okay.

When I made an appointment for the repair and rerouting of the pipes, Jack and his crew came right on time and got to work. They cleaned as they performed their work and didn't leave a mess when they left! Jack had always patiently listened and answered my questions until I understood, even when I asked the same questions multiple times. Lastly, thanks to Jack and his crew, we got hot water working without issues. Thus, I will wholeheartedly reach out to Plano Plumbing & Leak Detection if I ever have any leaks and recommend to others as well.

We had a slab leak on Friday night, our first house and we didn't know what to make out of the water leaking from the foundation. We had the city switch the water line to our house for the night. I called Plano Plumbing on Saturday morning and Jack was at our house in 30 mins to do the leak detection. He came as a savior when needed and as an experienced leak detector, found the type of leak and provided suggestions on what will be needed.

He offered us an estimate but also asked us to check around to compare. We were lucky that he had a slot available for Monday morning and we blocked that to fix our problem. The crew was at our house right at the time and setting up everything required. Jack suggested rerouting the hot water line, which was leaking, through the attic and walls. They were spot on with their work, rechecked the leak, verified that there are no other leaks, fixed the leak by rerouting the hot water line in few hours and voila, we finally had water to our house within 2 days. We are grateful for the excellent service and knowledge of the Plano Plumbing. Thanks Jack & Mario.

These 5 star reviews are for real! I sent in a request for a leak detection online. Jack reached out very promptly afterwards and we were able to set up an appointment. Mario came out very quickly and located the leak. He explained different options and pros and cons for each. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I wanted to get with my insurance company to see what they would cover and would let them know what I decide. Jack helped me communicate with my insurance to make this process very smooth and easy. After, Jack was able to schedule me in quickly for the repiping.

On the day of the repiping, everything was great. Jack and his team did a tremendous job keeping me updated with the progress. After the job was done, they did an amazing job cleaning up. I thought there were going to be holes in the walls and my responsibility to hire someone to redo the drywall. Nope! They screwed back in the drywall which would make it easy for me to patch up.

The flooring was clear of debris and trash. I was very impressed. In all honesty, I hired a plumbing company right before I hired Plano Plumbing & Leak Detection for the leak detection. They were slow, unresponsive and barely communicated with me. This led me to Plano Plumbing & Leak Detection and they will be my go-to place for all my plumbing needs. Thanks!

My hose bib copper pipe split leaking water in the front of my house and called four different plumbing companies to try and schedule a repair so I could get my water turned back on, all four said it would be Wednesday or Thursday before they could get me on the schedule. I called Plano Plumbing, Jack answered the phone and I explained my situation and he said I'll call you right back, five minutes later he called and said he could have someone there in thirty minutes, and right on time four professionally dressed men showed up and explained the repair, removing the brick, replacing the pipe and new hose bib. From the time I called to completing the job exactly 1 hour! Couldn't believe it! Great Job! Thank you Jack and his team getting me taken care of! Thank You Thank You!

Called to inquire about services. The representative who picked up greeted me as if my phone call was disrupting his day and the tone of his voice during the conversation sounded annoyed. Yes, he answered all my questions, but his phone persona alone did not sell the company's services. I decided not to hire this company due to my interaction over the phone today.

Jack and his team at Plano Plumbing and Leak did a terrific job rerouting a hot leak for us. The reroute saved us from having to jackhammer slab, rip up wood floors, and avoid numerous complicated, extremely expensive repairs. I highly recommend these guys. Plano Plumbing & Leak Detection came out to my home and found a leak in the pipes under my home. They were able to fit me in to their schedule to get the leak repaired quickly and save me a lot of money! They were very professional to work with and did a great job. Hopefully I won't have any leaks in the near future, but if I do I'm definitely reaching out to them again!

I needed help with a toilet installation, and based on two separate plumbing issues that were both corrected by Plano Plumbing and Leak Detection, I knew who I would ask for help. My attic water heater finally gave up and started leaking. Jack and his crew were able to come out quickly to replace it. The installation was efficient and clean. Jack and his crew were great! My hot water heater burst on a Friday going into a holiday weekend. Plano Plumbing came out immediately and installed a new hot water heater. They were efficient and had me up and running with in 2 hours. I will definitely be using them in the future

These guys did a fantastic job. They answered their phone, they gave a quote and were here within an hour or so. This is customer service right here. We have 2 water heaters one was leaking and they were both installed at the same time 15 years ago so we went ahead and had them replace both of them. I didn't feel taken advantage of and I am very pleased with their work. I would recommend them for any of your plumbing jobs. I'm saving their number as they are keepers.

This company was AMAZING to work with. I called and within and hour two plumbers were at my door. They found the leak and made repairs. They were very affordable and trustworthy! If I need any more services, I will definitely use them again. They even helped with documentation for my insurance claim. Great service! Excellent company! Highly recommend!

I'm very picky when it comes to finding a repair technician etc- I usually do a lot of research and get recs from friend etc however this time around I didnt get a chance to find someone 2/2 to work etc so I left it up to my husband to find someone and he ended up finding Plano Plumbing for a leak problem we had- at first I was hesitant because of some of the reviews I read but I figured I could at least get an estimate.

The first problem we had was what we thought was a kitchen leak but ended up being another issue so they just gave their recs and didnt charge us at all for their time. I called them up again for a leaky faucet outside our house and not only was it repaired quickly but he even found ways for it to be cheaper than his original quote. He was quick and to the point and I didnt feel like he was trying to dishonest or dodgy. They will always be my go-to for any plumbing issues we have- I would highly recommend trying these guys out.

Called Plano Plumbing and Leak Detection, came out next day. He marked down the pipe where the leak is happening. The fix is reroute a new pipe on the ceiling and through the wall as he will not jackhammer the foundation. We were hesitant to do it as we would need painters later, prefer to do it from below. Anyway, we are so glad we did below because and he completely missed where the leak is.

He labeled a wrong pipe. As you can see, the leak is at the third hole, complete different pipe. If we had him to do the pipe, we would still be having a water leak issue after he repipe the house.

This is the second time I've used Plano Plumbing. Both times, I have been extremely pleased. I have a drain that is a major problem that requires climbing on my roof and snaking to clean out. Jack and his team are always punctual and reliable. They are professional and do what it takes to get the job done at a reasonable price. I will definitely be calling them in the future!

They came out first thing in the morning after my late evening call for an odd water pressure issue. (November 2018) The owner had 2 apprentices with him. They did a thorough investigation to try to identify the issue. An internal issue seemed triggered by an external, sprinkler part failure. Figuring out that connection is not something the average plumber would have deduced.

The owner was great in explaining his theories, how he was testing them, and the results. He recommended checking with the City to make sure the problem wasn't on their end, and provided me with the department to contact and exactly what to ask about. He turned off a valve for the winter, so a spring part replacement should reveal if this really is the source of and permanent solution to the problem. His fix, though, did eliminate the immediate problem, restoring functionality to the plumbing system, for a basic and reasonable service fee.

This company is very shady. DO NOT USE THEM! They came out for a simple one man repair. Brought 4 men to do it. Wanted to charge us for the 4 men who weren't doing anything. They quoted $1,350 for a job another reputable plumber charged $380 to complete the job in only 2 hours. $1,000 OVER fair price! DO NOT use these people!

AWFUL - Almost the same exact thing Mayan wrote happened to us. I'm a property manager in Denton County and this is the worst contractor I've ever dealt with. I wanted a slab leak detection service done as well and when I arrived at the home the next day there were no markings, no identification, nothing. I called to ask where the leak was and they said "Somewhere between the kitchen and master bathroom." Mind you, that plumbing line is about 45 feet long and you could see where the water was coming up through the tile - we just couldn't tell exactly where the leak was. So, you determined the leak was in a line 45 ft long? That's what I am paying $275 for?

When I asked about visual markings and exact location of manifolds, etc. (which was part of the service from the company who actually did their job mentioned below) he said "Well, you should have met me here." Incredible. I waited 2 weeks for RECOMMENDED company to perform the same service. He identified EXACTLY where the leak was with visual markings on the floor and recommended the best way to reroute the lines.

The issue was solved the next day by a licensed plumber. I guess since they assumed they wouldn't get the plumbing business, they didn't want to share where the leak was (or flat out didn't take the time to find it). Now they are trying to hold us liable because our renter signed the invoice. They called asking about payment and were willing to negotiate down to $125.00 for a "trip fee".

If they were so confident in their argument & "services performed", why did they agree to a lesser amount? The invoice language they use is incredibly vague, granting leverage on their end versus the unsuspecting customer. Now, they've threatened to take action. Do not use this company.

I called them to do a leak detection at my house. They said they charge a $250 flat rate to find the leak, and I agreed. Problem is they walked around a little but didn't find the leak and still wanted me to pay. But our deal was $250 to find the leak, and they didn't find the leak. The guy they sent out called me to ask where the water shut off valve was.

A plumber that can't find the water shut off valve in the front of the house near the street where it always is. I called a different company the next day and they found and fixed the leak. I guess Plano Plumbing thinks they should paid for nothing while the other companies actually do something.

Quick response to a slow draining toilet over the pre-Christmas period. Showed great integrity by replacing the entire toilet for free after accidentally breaking the lid of the old one. Friendly, effective and solid communicators.

I had both sinks in the upstairs bathroom were stopped up and this is where the air conditioning drained into. Not to mention it was the end of July and Super hot so the AC units were putting off lots of water.

Had a gas leak and quickly detected, shut gas off and repaired the line. Reasonable prices and great work. Also had them replace my water heater. Highly recommend.

I will fully admit I am a 'particular' person. I'm pretty hard to please, but I was very impressed by this company. Not sure what the previous reviewer expected, but I wouldn't have a problem with someone wearing socks and sandals for a leak detection. We pretty much knew we had a hot water slab leak, but we had Plano P&L come confirm for us.

They were really open and honest and helpful in regards what we should tell insurance. We did hire them to do the repair and they were super fast, clean, polite and did a great job. They kept me involved, there was absolutely none of that 'She's a woman so she doesn't know anything' type crap from them, which made me really happy.

I was really pleased with the whole experience, they fixed our issue and I would recommend them in a heartbeat! BTW: They do not take credit cards. Check or cash only. That's the only thing I found odd, but otherwise they're awesome.

Had a serious leak by my meter and a faucet that needed replacing. Austin and Adam were great! They showed up on time and they explained what they were going to do and gave reasonable estimates up front.

I had a gas leak out by my meter near the alley. My gas company had shut me off and i had to find a plumber to find the leak and make the repair in order for me to get my gas back on. I called Several companies.

I made 3 different appointments with this plumber and each time he canceled (After I called him to find out where he was). This was over several days, so now my water leak is now a lot worse and its Friday night so if I want a different company I have to pay overtime fee's. He made no attempt to make it up to me. so when I asked if he could come later I was told "DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MUCH WORK THAT JOB IS? no point me even coming today or even this weekend it will take to long, it requires jack hammers!".needless to say I agreed with him and called a different plumber. You should do the same.

I hope this helps someone not go through what I went through with this company. I just wanted them to do a leak detection on a slab leak in my house and I made that clear over the phone before hand. They said they would charge a $250 flat rate to find the leak, and I agreed with that amount. Two gentlemen came in to the house. The main owner of the company was wearing sandals with socks which I found kind of odd, but who am I to judge.

I guess I was expecting work boots or something. Anyway, they said they would be there between 9-11 and they showed up around 12. That's ok though, I'm not the most punctual person, so I won't hold that against them. After the work was finished, I asked them where the leak was and they took me into the bathroom and simply pointed to the ground and said that it was in this vicinity.

I asked them if they could mark it or at least write on the invoice some dimensions or measurements that I could use to be more specific for my insurance agent, and he refused. I asked them very politely again why they couldn't mark the spot, and they kept saying that they would email me that information with a total bid to repair the leak. I again said, that I didn't bring you here to repair the leak, I simply wanted you to detect leak as we discussed on the phone.

To my shock and dismay, he just keep repeating that he would email me the bid and he wouldn't mark the spot or write on the invoice where the leak was. "WHAT EXACTLY AM I PAYING YOU FOR", I asked? It was at this point that I clearly saw him wink at his partner. I was enraged, but I kept my cool. It was painfully clear that he didn't want to tell me where the leak was because he wanted to make sure that he was going to get the job for the repair.

The second gentleman, not the owner, finally marked the spot on the floor and said that this where he heard the leak the loudest. Stunned and absolutely amazed at what people will do other people just to make money, I gave them their $250 and we parted ways. Two days later, I brought in a real company to detect and fix the leak and the actual spot of the leak was approximately 10 feet from where this company with a so-called "Master" plumber said it was.

I hope that people will read this and it will prevent them from going through what I went through. This company is an absolute rip off. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE SHOULD YOU DO BUSINESS WITH THESE DISHONEST PEOPLE.

This company did a great job for us. Jack is the Master plumber and oversees the work. We had a slab leak which they used their electronic equipment to identify. They were great about working with the insurance company and guiding us through that process. The materials they used were high quality and they were very good about getting the work done promptly.
