I was recommended Sid's by my brother who used Sid's years ago. My experience was fantastic and worth the review because of the following reasons: 1) The service was outstanding. Veronica at the Miramar store went above and beyond to assist me in selecting the right carpet in both quality and design. Her efforts were very much appreciated. 2) The installation was great.

Quick and professional. 3) The staff does a great job communicating through the process from the selection, to the purchase, to the installation and post install follow-up. I recommend them over the big box stores!

Bob was a very helpful salesman explaining a range of price and availability options. He steered me to a beautiful solution and Sids gave me a reasonable price and very professional install service. Not my first purchase from Sids and it won't be my last!

Service was above and beyond. I was kept in contact with each and every steps. All involved were courteous and helpful from my first contact with sales, setting appts, measuring, to installation and follow up of satisfaction. Installation went smooth, finished ten minutes before movers arrived and I love the carpet and they did a beautiful job. Will highly recommend Sid's!

Such a great selection of flooring. Their customer service is excellent. Our design firm is a huge fan of Sid's Carpet Barn. It can be hard to find great flooring at good pricing while still maintaining quality and service. Also, ask for Bob Wassberg. He is the Man! Thanks Bob! I love my freshly carpeted stairs too!

This is the second time I have used Sid's for our home. The first time was 15 years ago for our entire home and I was so happy I came right back for this purchase. Bob helped me pick out a carpet that would withstand our son and the abuse of 4 dogs. High quality and high performance products with very knowledgeable staff. Install was done with a white glove attitude. Highly recommended.

They didn't have anything in stock. They took my number to call but never me called back. Not going back to purchase from them.

This review is long overdue. I was a Carpet Barn customer back in February. Shout out to Jon for going above and beyond in his customer service. I came in minutes before closing and Jon took his time going over options with me and helped me find a quality carpet within my budget. Due to renovations in the house taking place, Jon was gracious when I had to reschedule carpet installation and his crew worked with our complicated schedule availability. Jon, thank you so much for your kindness!

I drove into Sids carpet barn yesterday because I'm looking for a piece of linoleum. They're advertising 50% off on some items in an extended memorial day sale. It was a little out of the way for me to travel but I was looking for a bargain so I thought I'd try it out.when I got there, there was no one in the parking lot. And I get the fact that we're going through a Covid pandemic but I had a mask and was ready to stand 6ft apart.l walked up to the door to go in and there was a sign on the door saying it was by appointment only.

I was rather surprised that they said nothing about that in their radio advertising on KOGO.The owner was gracious enough to apologize for my inconvenience and offered restitution. Sids has in fact been around awhile now, so they must be doing something right. I'll be happy whenever this pandemic gets better. Thanks to the owners for stepping up.

Worked with John for an order of LVP flooring for my home remodel. He was very attentive and was a pleasure to work with!

While we're happy with the price, quality, and installation of our Mohawk carpet, we're disappointed that we were not informed prior to purchase that buying Sid's recommended moisture-barrier carpet pad (that was less expensive than Mohawk's brand-name equivalent) would invalidate 20 years off our carpet warranty and that we now cannot pass the carpet warranty to the home's next owner. (Jon B., the sales rep, was not knowledgeable about the carpet's warranty terms using their pad.) We also weren't told the warranty was contingent on purchasing a new $400+ vacuum cleaner spec'd by Mohawk and certified by the Carpet & Rug Institute, and have to adhere to a specified carpet-cleaning regime by their designated carpet cleaners to even keep the lesser warranty in force.

I learned all this info a week after installation, when Jon couldn't tell us what vacuum cleaners would work on our new plush carpet since our Dyson wouldn't. I then contacted Mohawk directly about a vacuum and only then learned all about their restrictive warranty terms. I did pass the info I received from Mohawk on to Jon so he now knows the warranty terms on the carpet he sold us and how selling us Sid's pad invalidated it.

This is an update to a recent posting which I noted dissatisfaction with the customer service. Following my posting, I was contacted by Jon B. who advised the owner approved my request to order carpets and have them installed prior to my moving into our new home. Jon frequently called me with updates and ensured the carpets arrived on time and were scheduled for installation. All in all, a great carpet, outstanding installers, and a very knowledgeable and outstanding sales associate, Jon B. Thank you.

Very happy with SIDS carpet barn. We even had a challenging situation occur on the day of installation. and SIDS carpet barn handled the situation very well and provided great customer service. The final installation turned out great. The only thing I would say that could use a little work is their process of checking out. When it comes time to process the order etc., seemed like there were some gaps there in the understanding of the company's software. Overall though great experience and we would return.

We had arranged for a carpet install with Lowe's. only to find out that the carpet we paid for in advance was on back-order, so the install date was going to get pushed from 2 weeks out to at least 5-6 weeks out. We decided to shop and walked into Sid's. Our experience was exceptional from start to finish. Jamal was the sales rep we worked with.

How about this for a new twist on "sales:" we were an open book about being willing to spend extra if it meant getting the highest quality they had for both the carpet and the pad. But instead of jumping on us, Jamal pointed out that we were not laying carpet in any high traffic areas (we only did the bedrooms, no hallways or entry ways) so he actually discouraged us from going with the higher end stuff.

We arranged for an install date that fit our schedule and the install crew was on time, worked efficiently, respected our space, and cleaned up well. Can't ask for anything more than that. Oh, and we saved about $1,000 over what Lowe's was going to charge. even though(against Jamal's advice) we stayed with the highest priced pad!

Just bought our house 8 months ago. Need to sale due to getting relocated for work. Before we list our house, we need to replace the carpet in the living room and office. Sales was friendly and knowledgeable. The measuring tech was promt and spot on. I am in the Marine Corps and doing anything from 7-5:30 is a huge challenge. The carpet shop called to send me the estimate (good estimate) and request that I come in during the day to sign some forms.

I told him it would be tight, but I was going to try to make it. Their store closed at 6:00. I got off work a little early and sped home to change over. As I was loading into my truck to head down, I call and explained that I was heading down, but was 34 minutes away, which would put me at the store at 6:06 PM. I asked if he would be will to work with me so I could pay him some money and sign the paperwork.

He seemed a bit reluctant, but went the extra mile to ensure that I could be taken care of. Mario, the manager, in fact, went the extra mile and drove 35 miles out of his way, to my address to ensure that we were able to complete the required paperwork. Great company, outstanding customer service! If you use them for your flooring needs, you will be satisfied.

This place has every hardwood floor, vinyl, carpet and tile imaginable. Everyone who works here is knowledgeable and genuinely eager to help. I worked on purchasing and Installing engineered Hickory hardwood with Stephen last week, and he was kind, quick and really helpful. If I need more flooring, I'll come back to Sid's in a heartbeat!

I honestly can't say enough nice things about Mario. We had an issue with our daughters carpet and he went above and beyond to help us. We'd been to at least five other carpet stores where they literally blew us off. In the future I will never use any other carpet/flooring store except this one. HIGHLY recommended!

We are writing to you today to commend the installers who replaced the vinyl and carpeting in our home. We have lived in our home for 29 years and have had the carpet and vinyl floors replaced on more than one occasion, but never quite to our expectations. This time I can't convey to you how happy we are.

Sid's Carpet Barn did a fantastic job on our carpet! They had a terrific sale on very good quality carpeting. Jamal was easy to work with and remembered me each time I called to move up the install date. Everyone we dealt with at Sid's gave us courteous, professional customer service from beginning to end. The measuring guy did a very good job estimating the carpet needed.

There wasn't a ton of carpeting left over, which means I didn't have to pay for unused carpet. We've just completed a total renovation of our upstairs and I told the installers to be careful with the freshly painted baseboards and walls when moving our furniture. I gave them a bunch of rags to use for when they needed to lean items like mattresses up against the walls.

I really didn't think they'd use them or be very careful but I was pleasantly surprised on both accounts! I was very impressed with the job they did (and I'm a pretty picky person when it comes to our house!) The carpet's thickness and quality in addition to the thick padding really, really makes a HUGE difference! You don't know what you're missing until you have good quality carpeting.

Our condo was flooded in February 2017, and we needed new carpet in two bedrooms. Since we had remodeled our condo in 2012, and our contractor recommended Sids then, we decided to try them this time. Great experience! Our carpet only took 2-3 weeks to get in, and they also had quite a bit of in-stock carpet as well. Their service was honest, on time, and the installation was quick and beautiful. Sids also uses a great pad under the carpet.

In 2012 when we originally remodeled we used Home Depot -- MISTAKE! It took 5 weeks to receive the carpet (they do not carry anything in-stock), and the installation wasn't perfect -- some of the carpet was not laid smoothly, with a crease in the master bedroom. Sids was cheaper, quicker and better installed. GO SIDS!

Nice looking store however the sales rep we encountered was not knowledgeable about the Coretec HD vinyl product we were looking for. In fact he wasn't aware that US floors came out with a new HD line and kept saying we surely mean the XL line. The price quoted also wasn't competitive to the pricing we have received elsewhere. Sorry but if I feel that I know way more about the flooring product than the store clerk iam not going to buy from you.

Carpet looks good. However, we had our house painted on the inside and their installers scratched up our new paint. There were numerous scrapes, and significant digs in our bannister. When we called Jamal to let him know he said its part of the job. I would never use him or his business again. Jamal and his installers do not care about customer service and our property. Do not use him.

We recently had our home carpeted by you. It's beautiful! We couldn't be happier with the workmanship and the quality. We felt like your prices were fair and very competitive. The workers who installed the carpet were very efficient, and they did an excellent job. We also loved the way they cleaned up after themselves when they were done.

We had laminate flooring installed by Sids and it came out even better then we had expected. Work was done on time and my rep at Sids, Barbara was very attentive.
