Dickinson's Electric

We needed to replace a broken 25 year-old 30A 36 cooktop with a new one, and that size is only available in 40-50A now. So we needed about 100' of 50A wire run up a floor from the breaker, through the attic and down the wall behind the cooktop. While we were at it, we wanted to add two additional 50A receptacles for an RV and EV charging. I called Dickinson's Electric based on their reviews.

I was able to get an appointment for an estimate fairly quickly. The owner, Peter, came out and did the estimate. He let me know what it would entail, and the likely sheetrock repair that would be needed. We got an appointment to do the work five weeks later. Peter and his crew arrived on schedule. They did a great job cutting sheetrock holes we could easily patch, ran the wires, put the outlets in the locations and orientations we requested and cleaned up the areas well.

Along the way they were all very enjoyable to talk with and didn't mind us watching or asking questions. The only thing I can't comment on is price, since I didn't get additional estimates, but it seemed like a fair price for the quality of work received. I highly recommend this company.

Had an small emergency and was expecting to wait weeks for someone to come out. They were nearby and made a quick stop and helped us ASAP. They were fast, responsive, efficient, and fixed the problem. We would absolutely use them again in the future!

I highly recommend Dickinson's Electric for any electrical needs. Michael and Tristan were the electricians that came to my home. They were super friendly and knowledgeable with a can do attitude. They installed 4 light fixtures for me, including one very high chandelier that required extensive assembly - which they did. They also installed my security cameras including a new outlet dedicated to them. Dickinson's was also the most reasonably priced company of all that I researched. They were terrific!

These guys are awesome! Project took much longer than anticipated and they didn't charge me for the extra hours. And they were able to change our fan about 20 feet tall. They were significantly less expensive than some other quotes I received.

No buts about it, these guys provide excellent service! When the ditch we had dug for wiring to our shop needed to be completed, they did not hesitate to finish the job. They listened to what we needed, they were positive and friendly in their communication, and their work is without flaw. Highly recommend!

I well like to recommend this company specially because the service their provide, is very professional and respectful, very knowledge technicians willing to help on solving the problem Michael and Triston, have the ability on finding the problem, their did listened to what we have seen from other electricians really friendly and respectful. We had a power surge that caused our dishwasher to go out. Michael and Tristan arrived when they said they would and got right to work. They assessed the issue quickly and had it repaired in under 2 hours. They were super friendly & professional. They will definitely be our go to electricians from now on!

Larry came to wire in a motion sensor switch. His actions while figuring out what wire went were nervous. When he attempted to make sure the switch that was connected are the other end again, he was nervous and gave up making an exterior motion sensor light. A day or so later I texted him about his returning to finish info the job. He texted me back that just said Monday. Still no response. P.S. I paid $200 in cash and the switch is not connected.

Dickinsons electric has helped me with so many projects, including installing new pendant lights, switching out existing lights, changing our heaters and more. Peter does a great job. Excellent service done in a timely manner and very affordable prices. Thanks guys!

When doing a bathroom remodel our general contractor started taking short cuts. We called Dickinson's after the electrical inspection found several problems. Larry came out and within a couple of hours had installed a new sub-panel and pulled the required lines through the attic and into the proper locations.

I had a small commercial project that needed to be done. Dickinson's came out and did the whole thing in one day. They were quick and considerate of my clients. They did a great job of cleaning up and all I had to show for it was extra lighting that I needed and a few new plugs in the wall.

Great Electrician! I had three bids for an unusual residential job- Dickinson was the most organized, available and helpful of the three. They have been around a long time and know the local inspectors, PGE officials and the like and can make suggestions to save you money. Larry had a real can-do attitude that I liked. They are easy to reach on the phone- no callbacks days later.

Excellent Service and Expertise From an Electrician Amazing! An electrician who shows up on time, performs his tasks correctly, and bills a resonable fee for service and parts. Our experience with electricians has been poor at best. So many seem to be lazy and unreliable.and expensive! But Dickinsons is different.
