UCI Paints was a dream of founder, Sy Devick, who began manufacturing Lacquers and other industrial coatings in East Patterson, New Jersey. The lure of living in Florida with its warm tropical climate convinced Sy to pick up and move his family to South Florida in 1969. As a paint manufacturer up north, he knew he needed a different chemical composition for his paints to combat the mildew, algae and tropical climate that he wanted to live in.In 1970 he began manufacturing "trade sales or architectural coatings" in Fort Lauderdale, formulated specially to out perform National brand paints not made for use in the tropics.

Our community is due for repainting in May and our Board presented us with 4 color palettes to select from. We knew the color palette we wanted but could not decide on the base or trim color. I decided to call UCI and spoke to a very friendly and helpful person named Sam. He took his time giving me the codes for the paint, as well as, emailing me the sample colors.
After selecting the base color, we were still unsure of the trim color. We decided to go to the UCI paint factory/office and so happy we did! We met Sam and Otto who actually took the time to paint samples of the two trim colors we were debating about. They were AWESOME. Problem solved thanks to absolutely phenomenal customer service!

The customer service I received from UCI took me by surprise. When I called to order some exterior stucco paint, the woman who answered the phone, Gigi, could not have been sweeter or more helpful. I live fairly far away from their location so she offered to have the paint delivered - on a Friday evening! Sam arrived at my door with the paint, as promised, even though their usual delivery person had gone home, Sam had offered to drop it off because my painter was coming on Saturday morning. Like Gigi, he was super sweet. They did even more to impress me but instead of going further, I will simply say, I give this company my highest recommendation.

I am stunned and very impressed! I live in a homeowners community and tried to get a can of touch up paint. I was able to get the number from my property manager and called UCI. Would you believe that the $12 pint of paint was delivered to my door in a colorful and beautiful UCI van the next day. The paint is perfect and I'm so impressed with the service. Can I give UCI ten stars?

As a property manager of 3 high rise condos in Boca Raton, I deal with a lot of vendors. UCI is one of the best companies I have ever dealt with! When we needed to re-paint they came out and did specs for the job. Their sales rep Julie helped me tremendously with the bidding process. They were there inspecting every week while the job was going on to make sure their product was being applied properly.
The bigger paint companies don't do this! UCI has such pride in their products, and they really warranty their paint. Our community looks amazing, and I'm just so happy we chose to use UCI paints. We will be sticking with them in the future!

We have just finished painting 331 homes and a clubhouse. Coastal painting did the work and we used UCI paints. Julie was our contact person in UCI and she was very helpful and professional. Our community looks great with updated colors. We are getting a lot of compliments from the other communities and we are very with the results. Thank you for a great job.

The undersigned Community Association Manager was employed as Manager of Plaza East, 4300 North Ocean Boulevard, from 2001 until 2006. This 21 story ocean front hi rise building had been painted only a few years before but was in drastic need of painting and waterproofing. There was extensive water penetration through the walls and peeling all over the structure.

Tamarind Village HOA used UCI Paint in our previous project 7 years ago. We were impressed with the high quality of the product and chose to use UCI for the repainting of the 178 properties in the Village this year. We thank Stan Cohen for working closely with the Board of Directors' Paint Committee. He freely gave his advice and his time matching color selections.
