We used WMGB to replace our Michigan cellar style windows that were originals (circa late 60's, early 70's). Nick was super easy going and easy to work with. He was professional, very knowledgeable, and quick! We are very pleased with the finished outcome and will definitely be keeping West Michigan Block in mind for any future upgrades!

From estimate that was done in a timely manner to installation. We got 4 block basement windows and one bathroom block window. Our tile in our bathroom is stone and Nick took the time to mortar around our stone pieces so it blended in PERFECTLY! He was aways professional and friendly, you can definitely tell he is very proud of his work as he should be.

We did get another estimate and it was not a pleasant experience and the prices were much higher. We have several more projects and already have them hired for our other windows. Highly recommend this company!

WMGB installed four exterior doors to our home. Jack and Wyatt did the installation, and we are very pleased with both the doors and the installation. When Jack came by a few month ago to survey the job, he had indicated to us that three of the doors would be challenging installations, due to the non-standard sizes and the non-standard construction of the old doors that were in place.

He and Wyatt did an excellent job of installing them! The doors are beautiful, and they operate very smoothly with a tight seal. We ordered the doors several months ago, and they were delayed due to the supply chain issued that everyone is currently experiencing. They were worth the wait though.we are very happy with the final product!

I had 5 glass block vented windows and 2 vinyl windows installed by WMGB. The process was simple and they were proactive with all communication touch points - even when the vinyl windows had supply chain issues that delayed install, I never lost confidence in the team. The initial sales consultant was thorough, the installers were professional and I liked that the management team followed up after install to ensure I was satisfied with the project.

We had our glass block windows installed by Brandon. The windows that he had with him were not the correct ones. Brandon called the office and had the correct ones delivered in a timely manner and had them installed. He was very professional and did the job well. We are very happy with the job he did for us.

Jack installed 3 more replacement windows for us last week & did a great job! He called before he left the shop, arrived on time, did all 3 removals/installs by himself, and cleaned up before he left. He's great! Looking forward to finishing our window replacements with WMGB in the future.

We had 8 new glass block windows installed in our basement. From our first contact through the final installation, the staff at WMGB were courteous, professional and prompt. Since part of our home is over 100 years old and has ductwork, gas and plumbing lines in front of the windows, removing some of the old windows was tricky. Nick, who measured and then installed the windows, worked through those difficulties and went on to install the new windows. He left the windows looking great and the spaces cleaned up. We had three basement glass block windows (with vents) installed. The estimator explained how the final product would look, as well as the process to get there. The installers were very knowledgeable and professional, and were able to slightly modify the original plan to make the windows fit better. I would definitely recommend them. I am attaching before and after photos of two of the windows. The last picture was taken before the alignment shim was removed.

We recently purchased a new home and needed new windows in our basement. By complete chance we were driving around and saw one of their signs in someone's yard. Long story short we went with them and the work. they did was phenomenal! They installed 4 glass block windows in less than 3 hours! The mortar lines around the blocks are so clean and smooth they look like a machine did it. Quite cheap on price as well! Thank you guys!

The company gave me a great value on replacement windows, saving me approximately $2,000 from the former company I was going to use. They also informed me how long of a delay there would be due to COVID and it was accurate. And they communicated during that wait. Crew was very friendly, professional, and kept me informed during the whole process. Cleaned up during and after the process. They made sure I was satisfied with the work once it was done. Had a wonderful experience with WMGB and had great workers along the way. Keith helped with sales and made it an easy decision for us to choose them as our window replacement company. The price was right, the product was good and the time frame was better than other companies. Then when installation day came, we had Trevor and Sam install the new window replacing the original picture window and they were friendly, professional and completed job in just a few hours. We had nall new windows installed and an egress window. Everyone was very professional, nice and had great communication with us. They talked to us the whole way through and did a beautiful job. The window. installation guys (Greg, Trevour, Kelum, Sam and Keith) answered all of our questions during the installation of the windows and walked through afterwards with us to inspect each window.

They cleaned up after themselves so you would never know they were there. Again, super friendly, professional nice guys. Great job and WMGB without a doubt has the best quality at the best prices. I highly recommend WMGB for windows and egress. I would request these 5 guys come out for any future window needs.

We had Nick come out an install 6 new glass block windows for us. He gave us a 30 minute heads up for when he would be coming and arrived right when we were expecting him. He was extremely nice and we were able to go about our household tasks without interruption while he worked. It was an incredibly hot day and he worked through lunch to make sure that our windows would all be installed that day! He is an extremely talented worker and it shows! We are very happy with the end product and will definitely call WMGB for any other home improvement needs!

WMGB installed two glass block windows for me, one in my breezeway and another in my garage. Very satisfied with the quality, work and professional. Jack and Dustin were my installers super friendly, and they. did a great job and clean up as well. The windows came out better than I could've imagined. They even stayed afterwards to go over everything they did, explain the drying time, warranty, their guarantees and even to answer a few other home improvement questions I had. We had WMGB do our basement windows many years ago and they are in excellent condition still. If your looking for a reliable, fair priced local company I recommend WMGB.

Cameron was here today to fix my basement window in a finished room that had WMGB windows installed. It looked really unattractive with the cinder blocks showing. Cameron put wood around the window frame and did such a great job. I highly recommend him to make your new windows look fantastic. Also, he was on time and very nice about accepting my suggestions.

This is the second Time I had WMGB out to replace windows first was a glass block window in the bathroom. This time was five replacement windows. The staff is friendly. The installation crew was awesome. Very. polite, quality work and cleaned up everything. I have a little construction to do then I want them to come out to replace the last couple windows.

After an attempted break-in last year when an original basement window was broken we decided it was finally time to replace the last two remaining original windows with glass block. I have no idea why we waited so long. As usual we called WMGB and scheduled a time for an estimate. This appointment took all of ten minutes and then we scheduled an installation for the following week.

The installation for two windows took less than 1.5 hours and we have all glass block windows. I'm hoping we will never need WMGB again because they have replaced all the windows we have, but we will gladly recommend them.

Nice sales guy Zach, but totally tried to rip me off. My jaw hit the floor when he informed me he would charge $3,800 for labor on a basic egress window. I'm not sure why anyone would contract this company with a price point as quoted. Don't bother!

Great job, great service! The guys were running over from previous job, showed late but got the job done in 2 hours flat. Will definitely recommend and use again. But if any issues ran into again, a courtesy call would be nice.

I received an estimate from WMGB and very much wanted to give them my business, as a local company to Grand Rapids. I prefer to support local companies. However, it was extremely difficult to get an actual quote from the salesperson. He first sent me a quote for two windows, without visible pricing. I asked him to resend with just the one window I currently/urgently need replaced, less the 10% discount I was offered via email from the company.

He sends the quote again, with both windows, no discount applied. I ask him again to send just the one window, less the discount. He never responded to this request. I understand I only need one window replaced -- at this time. But I do have a whole house full of windows I would like to replace in the spring. It's Fall, right now, I just need one window.

So we don't service people who aren't buying a house full of windows? I'm not worth your time? I have excellent credit, and I will gladly finance with another company to replace the rest of my windows in the spring. Additionally, when he gave me a quote for two windows. I then mentioned that I had been emailed a coupon. He very suddenly realized he quoted one of the windows incorrectly and the quote went from $1200 to $1700.

It was NOT the window that I needed replaced that went up in price, so it didn't seem as shady as it could have. It's just not a good look to redo the quote seconds after someone states they were offered a discount/coupon from the company. It was definitely a major disappointment when they had mostly good reviews before this experience. You should treat all your customers with respect and as though they are buying a house full of windows.

Just because I need one window now doesn't mean I won't return to your company to spend more money down the road. It is extremely difficult to find any type of contractor company in the area that isn't garbage. You could try being the good one because customers who are treated well pass the word on. A coworker gave me the name of a different window company he was pleased with, so I am taking my business there now.

I cannot say enough how happy we were with the job that WMGB did in replacing 4 of our basement windows. They arrived promptly, worked efficiently, and left the work area cleaner than what it had been. The windows look marvelous and the basement feels warmer already. I also want to mention how flexible they were in working around my schedule and how compassionate the worker was who came to our house.

I explained to him that my dog had recently had a surgical procedure and I asked if he would be willing to spend a little time with the dog just so that it could calm down and be okay with work going on in the house. The WMGB worker was so compassionate and made my dog feel comfortable. That meant a lot to me. Finally, the cost for 4 windows came in at just a little over 150 per window, and it was worth every penny.

WMGB's service was excellent. The sales person was friendly and knowledgeable, without being pushy, and the installers were respectful, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. I believe this is the reason this company has been around for so many years!

West Michigan Glass is very deserving of 5's. 1st appt & invoice was thorough and timely, then I needed to reschedule my installation and they were very accommodating. Installation day went smoothly, Tim did a great job and a perfect cleanup before he departed.

If there's one thing I can't stand, it's contractors who say they will be there at one time, and then don't show up, and don't call to say they won't be able to make it. This is basically not showing up for work and not calling. In most places that's grounds for dismissal. I called and set up an appointment to have an estimator come out and look at my basement windows.

The appointment was for between 9:00and 9:30. Around 10:00, I called the company to find out why. I was told they would get through to the estimator and call back. 45 minutes later, estimator calls and tells me he never got the appointment on his calendar. "No one told me about you". Well if they can't handle getting an estimate done, I'm not going to believe they will do the work on time. This is a company I will never hire.

Hopper windows are hinged at the bottom while the top of the sash can swing outward within a single frame. If you have a basement, you'll understand exactly what the benefits of these windows are: improved ventilation and natural illumination in an area that otherwise would remain seem dark and enclosed.

They came out and gave an estimate and their work was completed a few days after that. The glass block windows add safety, energy savings and a nice visual impact from outside. My biggest regret is waiting years to have them put in.
