I have never needed to call an electrician, and electrical work is definitely outside of my comfort level. The service provided at my home today by Chris was phenomenal. He arrived on time, even a little early, and moved quickly and efficiently through each task. He took time to explain the nature of the problems, explain how they would be fixed, and then did all of the work safely and quickly. I will absolutely call Highland Electric for all electrical work in the future.

We have been using the team at Highland Electric for 12 plus years. They have helped us with our home, business and rental properties. Jennifer is always on top of it when we call for scheduling and all the techs are knowledgeable, prompt, well dressed and provide 5 star service. Installer didn't seem concerned about where on the walls he was running the electrical lines. I have a line going from a light switch to a new outlet that is going across a wall rather than down. So now, I have to hide it with a large plant. Other outlets have some of the same issue. Also, I never received a receipt for the work. It was expensive for 4 outlets.

Highland Electric fixed a number of deficiencies that were identified in an inspection. Scheduling was quick and easy. They were on time and remedied the deficiencies in record time! The electrician (Chris) was awesome, as was Jenifer at the office. Don't be put off by the hourly rate. They are fast and efficient. Highly recommended! Mike gave a no worry estimate and kept the project on time. He responded to calls and made every effort to insure we were done with our project as scheduled. All expectations set at the walkthrough were met and then some! Our electrician Kris was great from beginning to the final bulb! He made great recommendations and kept our project grounded. His skill is evident and his kind, pleasant demeanor kept discourse light. We were in good hands throughout the project!

We were closing on the sale of this property and Highland Electric really came through. They made the required changes, took care of the permit and inspection and did an extraordinary job. We would use them again without hesitation.

Made appointment with understanding $250 first hour, $100 thereafter. First appt: Highland canceled, electrician ill, rescheduled. Second appt: Highland canceled, electrician ill, rescheduled. Third appt electrician on time: Assessed pendant light issue, told me to go to Creative Lighting and buy transformer. *$250* for electrician to return and install it plus cost of new transformer (~$80).

Also discovered work time calculated based on departure time from previous job which was not disclosed when I made initial appointment (and I never knew, never thought to ask). No consideration from Highland that their 2 cancellations forced me to reorganize my schedule twice. While frustrated, I was pleasant and understanding when Jennifer called informing me of both cancellations. Their company, their rates, their rules. Unfortunate electricians ill, but all around, not a great experience.

We contacted Highland Electric for some work on our older home and they were absolutely terrific! Punctual, clear, covid safe, and careful meeting our expectations as to our needs. Tim was a game changer when it came to giving us feedback and insights as to how to get the work done. He was personable and a pleasure to have in our home. Will most certainly come back in the future!

My experience with this company was fantastic! I had a project that needed to be done regarding a wall removal and moving all the electrical wiring, and this company was recommended to me on Nextdoor by a neighbor. Mike was my representative. He was very communicative, came and looked at everything and let me know exactly what they could do and how they could do it.

Responded to email inquiry right away. gave me an estimate. made appt within a week. came on time in a marked van. Steve was professional and courteous. I needed a 220 volt outlet in my basement for a kiln. took an hour. $250. the price was for the job, not hourly, so I guess I'm fine with that. I didn't really shop around. I wanted local independent well-established company. licensed bonded insured. up to code.

My 80 yr old mother contacted HE and got a quote to install an outlet on her back porch. She was quoted $150-$160. The electrician came installed the outlet and was out in 1hr 10 min. He then handed her a bill of $340. DOUBLE! I contacted HE and talked to Bill who then agreed to reimburse her $120. It's now 7 weeks and have be given the complete run around with Bill and Cheryl.

I have asked to speak to the owner, one tells me they are the owner, the other says he can't give out that information. My mom lives on a very limited fixed income, this took half of her monthly living expenses. What makes her angry is that she was never given the opportunity to say no. The electrician knew the estimate when he came, and after seeing what needed to be done still said nothing.

This was a VERY easy job, install an outdoor receptacle directly behind one in the dining room. The customer service Cheryl and Bill have shown to us is unbelievable. I would not recommend this company to anyone!
