Certified Roofing

Following a cost estimate we scheduled a gutter covering project. Job was completed per the schedule. A two part covering product was used to ensure fit and function. Upon completion, the entire site was cleaned prior to leaving. A fair price, quality material and great workmanship. What not to like?

In June 2019, Certified Roofing installed four 4X6 and two 4x4 Skylights. This required the use of crane and very difficult task of removal and installation of 6 skylights on the top of two story house. Both David and Justin performed the entire task very professionally and on time. They took care of everything including clean up etc. In addition, Justin inspected the roof and replaced broken tiles and fixed other problems. We are very pleased with the work done by Certified Roofing and have no hesitation in recommending them.

David and his company were great. They did a complete roof replacement on a 2850 sqft home with 4 gables and replaced 3 skylights and re-roofed around a total of 7 skylights and two chimneys. Excellent work completed on time. Over 2 years after the completion, we had a problem with one of the solar powered skylights and I asked David who I could contact to take a look.

Instead of pointing me somewhere else, he made 2 trips out to the house, and took care of the problem at no charge. I will definitely use David again for any future roofing work and recommend him highly.

About 2 years ago I needed to replace a flat tar and gravel roof that was 25 years old. I wanted to use the Metacrylics coating so that I didn't have to tear off the T&G. They recommended Certified Roofing, and I found them quite knowledgeable about this material and its application. I received a sensible bid and they completed our job on time in spite of bad weather. There is a picture of our job on their website (left photo). Two years later we have not had leaks in spite of standing water in the winter.

David and his crew delivered an excellent product with excellent service. It was a complete re-roof of a 2900 sqft single story with 4 valleys and 7 skylights. New sheathing along with the replacement of 5 skylights and an asphalt room was installed. I was also remote, as this is my home that I am currently renting while living on the east coast. David was extremely thorough in the project review, quote, and even assisted in my purchasing the skylights direct to save money.

The job was completed on time and with great quality. 2 years after the completion, one of the solar skylights stopped working, and while not his responsibility, he had a person come out and take a look, It was a loose wire and he fixed the problem free of charge. I notice some not so great reviews on Yelp for Certified Roofing, and all I can say is that I find those hard to believe given my experience with David. I have no hesitation recommending him to my friends and will use him again for all my roofing needs.

Advise caution with this company. They installed a slurry roof for me. I was assured it would last 15 years. When I sold my house 18 months later it did not pass inspection. Certified Roofing caulked some spots for me but did not address the major issue, which was a large low area that collected standing water. The company refused to warranty the roof to new owners. I had to compensate buyers for the cost of an extensive repair.

To whom it may concern: During the first big storm of the year we had a stream of water pouring through the middle of our living room ceiling. We did not appreciate our roof until it failed. Now we had no choice. We contacted Certified Roofing. They stopped the leak the same day we called. After choosing the roof we wanted, our new roof was built in about a day and a half.

This company came on a short notice to inspect the roof of a house. The inspector was friendly and gave a clear summary of all issues encountered, and provided recommendations. He uncovered lots of problems that translated in thousands of dollars of required repairs. The report they provided was informative, but we had to ask for it several times, and it was a simple email rather than a professional looking report that other inspectors provide. Still, the information reported and estimate are good.

He followed through on everything. Always on time as promised. The project was 99% done in three days. They clean up. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Gutter Services, certifiedroofing.info : Gutters and Downspouts were installed in a very timely manner as I had requested to expedite the job. David paid attention to my request to re-locate a downspout. He was open to negotiate payment plans. I wanted to support his small local business and he wants to treat you like a friendly neighbor. The finished job is quality materials and currently have no problems with the gutters nor downspouts.

David, We have had quite a lot of rain so far this season. I hope it has brought lots of roofing customers for you. We love the new roof. The roof seems quieter than the old wood shingles, and the drain spouts are super quiet. It is so nice not to worry about that old wood shingled roof. We appreciate the great job you and your crew did.
