I've been using their service for a few years now. When they were called Washington Tree & Services (or something like that), they were a three star company. But our new technician Clayton, is what made me give 5 stars to Senske. He is absolutely the best! He is friendly and punctual, but most of all, he is a PROFESSIONAL! His attention to details is amazing and he is sensible to boot.
Just amazing service he gives. wow. They have gotten a bit more expensive for the weed control in our 0.4 acre home, but I'm willing to pay for it if Clayton is the one doing the job. Thank you Clayton!

Is it possible to give less than a one star rating?! They do not know what they are doing as far as weed control, what a mess. The service people that they send out are untrained and unqualified. Not only do they provide sloppy inadequate services, they also damage your property and drive off as if it never happened.

I have been using Senske for 4 years to treat Bermuda grass. I'm very disappointed Dave is very unprofessional and he does not follow through with anything he also gets angry very easy and will accuse the customer of lying. I called Senske for months with no response and no show on appointments. They have made promises and not followed through. I would not recommend this company. Very poor customer Service. I have more Bermuda grass today then 4 years ago. I will be canceling all services with Senske.

UPDATE: Increased a star. Thanks to Ron Allen for coming back and making it right. I REALLY appreciated the concern he showed toward me and making it right. Once, we have had a couple more positive experiences, the rating will go back to what it was before this: 5 stars. ************* We prepaid to have weed control done on our property. It was between $850 - $975.
The 1st person did 1/3 of the property. I called and let them know it was not completed. It took a few calls/emails to get them back out. We were assured that the initial application would be completed and referred to it as a "recheck". A snow delay caused a reschedule which is completely understandable. My husband walked the property with them and he was assured it would be done correctly.
But they had reschedule due to wind, again completely understandable. Finally they came out and completely failed to do what we paid for. They did a "recheck" and charged us $175. I called the customer service people and explained the situation. There was ZERO APOLOGY or concern. He said he would schedule a "recheck". My questioning of this phrase was not met with a pleasant tone.
I let him know that the day they would be back out, I was getting chemo and won't be here to make sure it was done correctly. I really didn't want to keep dealing with this. He explained their policy/terms and assured me it would be done. Clearly he had no poo's to give about making it right. Never even hinted an apology or even sympathy. I'm not confident it will actually be done.

We had lawn service and weed control/fertilizer in our pasture. They killed 15 year old arborvitae's and trees in the pasture area. They promised they would make it right. Now it is spring. No replacement trees, unresponsive service, not a single credit or apology. Now their opinion is death by beetles. But only the trees in the area they treated are dead.
Not the trees right next to the dead ones that didn't get their treatment. Horrible service. Completely ruined our landscaping and refuse to do anything about it. Do not use this company!

Good service. They message you before they come out for service and are on time. They would have gotten 5 stars but there was some misinformation given when we signed up. We paid for service and were told services would end after the last visit. Then they came out and did another application and told me I never called to cancel. When I called they informed me our original contract wasn't on file and the cancelation policy is on the back of the receipt.
So a bit of miscommunication.on their part. Still I would recommend them for pest control and will most likely use them again but others should know what the cancelation policy is.

Went for the Christmas light display as i do every year. Saw a few very nice changes with the lights on the big trees. Very beautiful. It truly is my favorite time of year, when I can go sit and watch the lights for hours on end. My only complaint is the radio station is always fuzzy when playing in the car, bit that could be an antenna issue anyways, I loved it! Thank you so much senske for giving so many a wonderful family tradition

They do regular pre-emergent, fertilizer and broad leaf applications. My yard has a lot of oxcila, crabgrass, nutsedge, Bermuda and other weeds that as the season has gone on has grown. It does not appear that they look at your specific needs and address them. For a generic application, great. If you have neighbors spreading to you and you have the time you might as well do all your own applications and with the special chemicals needed to get the unwanted weeds out, you can do the job even with the added chemical cost for less, I'm certain.

Critical:Professionalism I hired Senske to do snow removal at my office building a couple years back. Instead of sticking to the contract they came day after day to clear non-existent snow and dump unreasonable amounts of salt. Before I realized it, they'd racked up a bill over $4k providing services I didn't ask for! Never hiring these guys again.

I signed up for lawn care when I was initially calling to see about lawn mowing service. I signed up for the 6 services that will come treat my lawn every 4-6 weeks to keep it healthy, maintained and looking good. A couple months in I started getting crab grass and it was getting worse. I called Senske to have them come out to treat it. I asked if there was a fee for treating it and was told no, and they sent someone a few days later.
When that service guy came he knocked on my door and said there is nothing I can do with what I have today. The crab grass had spread in that week upon his arrival and he will send someone else out with the truck that has the spray to eliminate/control the crab grass and spread. I then receive and appointment confirmation for two weeks out. Today was they day they came while I was at work.
I received and email of what was done and it stated nothing about the crab grass. I called and asked if todays service was part of my normal 4-6 week treatment or if it was the Crab grass appointment? I was told it was my normal 4-6 week treatment. I then explained to the guy on the phone what was going on and he replies oh we don't treat crab grass., we spray for it in the fall. UMMMM WHAT?!?!?
I then went over all the contact and communication I had about this and still nothing has been done and now you're telling me you don't treat crab grass. Why did I pay all this money and IN FULL to have my lawn looking good?! He literally said nothing, stayed 100% quiet until it was awkward enough for me to say have a good day and hang up. JUST SAVE YOUR MONEY! THEIR SERVICE IS A LOT WHICH IS FINE. BUT THEY DONT DO ANYTHING!

I don't even want to rate this company. I have never used Senske before and I had the worst customer experience I have ever experienced. My first ever appointment scheduled I received a call to have it rescheduled. I was totally fine with it and said no problem at all see you Friday. The tech called me back to say I'm sorry my manager will be calling you to make this right. Confused I said okay.
His manager called me and said that his tech said I sounded upset and he wanted to make things right. Confused I told him I was okay with the reschedule and had no problems. My second appointment came around and no one showed up and I didn't even receive a call that someone wasn't going to make it. I gave them a call to ask why nobody called I was told it was rescheduled for another day but nobody notified me.
I made a note for them to call me from the beginning because I have dogs I lock in the house all day while I am work so they can take care of my lawn she said she would make a note for them to call me prior to service. Rescheduled appointment came around and nobody showed up again so I called to cancel services immediately at that point it was ridiculous.
I then got a call from a lady apologizing for what happened and asked if I would give them another chance. I agreed and we scheduled an appointment right then for them to come and she made a note for them to call me when they were about to do service. The day came and AGAIN nobody called or even tried to notify me that they couldn't make it. 2 days later I got a call from another lady wanting to confirm my address and service and that she was wanting to confirm that I wanted service still.
I said yes and that I had already spoke to someone and I confirmed I wanted service again we even scheduled an appointment date for them to show up and nobody did. She then said she has to call herself and confirm that I wanted service (which doesn't make sense if I already spoke to someone else telling them I was going to confirm service again). I asked her why nobody called me before my appointment then?
She said they tried to call me twice and left me voicemails each time. I checked my missed calls I had none and I checked to make sure my voicemail wasn't full and it was not. If they tried to call me I would have record of especially since they have called me before. She said well we called you i have it written down here. I told her nobody called me or I would have shown it on my phone.
I canceled immediately and told her I was done. Therefore someone dropped the ball and instead of owning up to it they came up with excuses and even tried to put the blame on me. I find there service extremely unprofessional and very disappointing.

The technician finally came and cleared the area. He was very apologetic. He had come the day he was told but was not given clear direction on what needed to be cared for so he had missed the large overgrown weed patch. When we called to find out why it still had not been taken care of, I once again called and left a message with the service manager. He did not return my call yet again. I am thankful to finally have these weeds taken care of, but am dissatisfied with the lack of follow up by the management.

Signed up for their lawn and home treatment pest program for $846.00 for 5 applications. They did not give me a contract detailing the services to be performed as they promised, by email, so I cancelled before the first application. They probably know what they are doing but I did not like the idea of them taking my money and not giving me a contract with a description of services and number of applications to be performed.
I would not trust these people as far as I could throw them so be careful if you choose to use their "services!" It took Senske two months to contact my credit card company in order too rescind the charge! Despicable!

This review is in reference to the Kennewick Senske location. We have been a customer since 2019. In April we noticed damage to our lawn (large patches of dead grass). We called Senske and they assured us that a technician would be out to spray for bugs in the next few weeks. They didn't show up until June 1st. I spoke with him and he told me there was no way there was bug damage in our yard because they are just now spraying for bugs.
After spraying he stated we did indeed have bug damage and they would fix the damage within the next two weeks. Our invoice states this as well. He also informed me that he knocked down our rain chain and left it for us to reattach. Called Senske yesterday as it has now been 1.5 months with visible damage to the lawn. They told me they'd have a supervisor call me. No apology and so far, no call from the supervisor. I posted this complaint on their website - and they either deleted it or buried it.

I called Senske to get an estimate for tree pruning.that is when the trouble started. The guy was late by 45 minutes with no call, but when he showed he was knowledgeable and friendly so I decided to go with it. I gave them a deposit of $543 and was told I would hear from Brad Senske in the next day or two to schedule my service. I did not hear back, I called and requested a call, waited another week and no call.
I then requested to cancel the pruning and was told I had to wait for a call to do that. Frustrated. Booked a sprinkler blow-out with Senske. Had to rebook, due to a conflict and they canceled the appointment, instead of rebooking. It's the end of the season and now there are few options. Not left in a good spot. Really Frustrated. Now received an email (no in person contact) that Senske no longer does this service so no resolution to this problem. Not a customer centered business. Dropping yard and lawn service as well. Need someone who takes care of their customers.

I use Senske for a lot of services but I don't know what happened but you cannot seem to get my sprinklers blown out. I was schedule one day and no showed up or called. I actually had to call you to be rescheduled. I got reschedule for today and got call sorry we won't make it we can get to you in a week. Improve your scheduling for gosh sake otherwise I you going to be losing my business very soon.

My 1st appointment was apparently cancelled and rescheduled for the following week without contacting me. 1st appointment. You know what they say about 1st impressions. When I called to see what happened I got the impression it wasn't rare. I requested that the service be cancelled and had to be routed to a different department. After waiting on hold for several minutes I was finally able to cancel a service they never provided.

I have been using their service to save my diseased dogwood tree for a few years now. The tree would get sprayed four or five times a year and it's health was improving. Unfortunately, the employee they sent to spray the tree also sprayed my car. I talked to him and told him it was my fault for not moving it but if it ever happens in the future just knock on the door and I'll move it.
The next month the same guy shows up, but he arrives way earlier than his scheduled appointment. Instead of knocking on the door, he sprays my car AGAIN! I called the company and they promised to send a different employee next time but they did not. I called the company and left a message that I would like to schedule again with someone else but the owner will not return my call. oh well.

I have been a customer at will for many yrs off and on calling and requesting service when I want it usually to spray for spiders. A few months back they showed up I advised the service man that I would notify the office if I wanted the property sprayed well yesterday at 7 in the morning they showed up while I was in the shower sprayed around the house and left the bill under the door mat.

We have hired Senske to put up our Christmas Lights for 4 years. We also have them put up wreaths and swags. Each year I have had to show their "professional technicians" where to place the greeneries and prepare them. This year we were not home when they installed. Clear lights were supposed to be colored lights this year, didn't happen. New lights on fence won't come on. Wreaths supposed to be on windows were put on porch posts, This meant new holes drilled in the grout with upside down teardrop swags.
The bows on the teardrops look like someone sat on them. The bows for the wreaths I spent a few hours last year reworking are gone. It is an embarrassing mess, I have been trying for 3 hours for someone to contact me, their phone receptionists have also tried. No luck yet!

Beware! I made an appointment and had them come out Monday May 7 2019 To spray for ants spiders regular pest control service. Well I supposedly got that service on top of robbery! I inquired about pricing via email and I guess the inside sales lady (Whitney Stout) assumed I agreed to services. Needless to say she sent someone out to service our property without any type of agreement or confirmation of one. For argument sake I was going to pay the fee for that service but the more I thought about it the more I thought no, it's the principal!

She argued with me and insisted I agreed to services. If I had been treated a bit more kindly from the start things may have turned out differently. I called and they said a manger would call me on Monday - I waited and waited and finally called them again and spoke to the manager who said he would talk with the technicians and call me back. When that didn't happen within a 24 hour period I called back and cancelled the service. It is sad when the customer has to work harder than the company to get the service they agreed upon. I would have rated this a one star but felt the women who tried to assist and take care of this deserved recognition.

I'm surprised by some of the reviews I just read. I have had zero issues dealing with Senske. The reps who answer the phones are helpful and knowledgeable. Techs are friendly and all seem to know what they're doing. I asked to be called by the techs whenever they are in route to the house so I can respond if I ever foget to unlock the back gate.
I receive a call every time. Lawn looks great. I just set up my backflow preventer inspection because for some reason I forgot to include it in my annual renewal. Ari was the rep, she was able to apply my discount for paying annually and the test is set for tomorrow. I couldn't ask for or expect better service.

I had Senske come look at a broken sprinkler valve, When they came out a week later to look at it, they quoted me an outrageous price and a second broken valve. They came to my house when I only had one broken sprinkler valve, charged me $70, and left me with two broken valves. They also left my sprinkler box open in my front yard. I called corporate to tell them about the service and they apologized but nothing else. Go elsewhere for work.

If I could give negative stars I would! Spraying for spiders in January is a joke and a scam. Never had a problem with spiders etc in January. Didn't take care of our mice problem for $200! Yeah right. We had to patch holes etc. for that price we shouldn't have to do anything or buy anything extra. Worse company ever. I never right reviews but I couldn't let this go.

Senske use to have good customer service but the last year they have gone down hill quick. I've had services completed that didn't work because it rained almost immediately after they left and have been trying to get the problem solved. They have charged me a higher price almost every visit the last year and I have had to call to have it adjusted.
They say it has been taken care but continues to happen. They are to call prior to coming out since we have dogs that need to be brought in which has not happened the last couple times so they skip the back. Not ok. Also I've have made 2 attempts now in the last 10 days to reach a manager re: these and other issues and have been told they are unavailable and will call me.
I have had no call back. Well Senske you may have lost another customer. So I have to edit my review after receiving a call finally from a supervisor. Andy returned my call and was awesome. They say it has been taken care but continues to happen. They are to call prior to coming out since we have dogs that need to be brought in which has not happened the last couple times so they skip the back. Not ok. Also I've have made 2 attempts now in the last 10 days to reach a manager re: these and other issues and have been told they are unavailable and will call me.
I have had no call back. Well Senske you may have lost another customer. So I have to edit my review after receiving a call finally from a supervisor. Andy returned my call and was awesome. He was willing and able to make everything right. Andy knows real customer service and I appreciated it. I'm giving Senske another shot.

Senske has horrible customer service and isn't worth the hassle or price. Our lawn is being affected by brown rot, which Senske already sprayed one time and stopped most of it. After finding a small re-occurance, we asked them to come back and spray again. After getting the run around, we finally found out that they have to wait for enough customers to be affected by brown rot before they would choose to roll a truck and spray.
My lawn is dying and these (insert swear word) are too cheap to roll a truck or use a pump sprayer to fix my dying lawn. Ended up heading to home depot and picking up the chemical to save my lawn, and fired this worthless company. So much for their "Green Guarantee"

Dave is the reason I keep calling. His level of professionalism and attention to detail is second to none. His Service is always better than any other I tried. He has always been patient and taken the time to explain what he is doing to the property so that I also have a very good understanding of what and how things are being done. Always so pleasant too.

I have tried working with this company for a few years now. A house we bought almost 4 years ago had an Aphid problem in two very large shade trees. The first year they came out and sprayed the trees twice and recommended injections. The following January we called to have the injections and were told they'd be out asap. Weeks passed, not injections.
I called again, same thing. After finally getting someone it was too late for the injections and we had to pay the to spray the trees twice. This year I called to get the injections and yet again they didn't have us scheduled. Terrible customer service.

I just want to let you know that your employee Jimmy, did me a huge favor yesterday. His honesty saved me o lot of time and money, he found my computer case on a sidewalk and being the honest person that he is, called me and even returned it to me at my office. It must be nice to have such a honest employee with his character.

Never. Use. Senske. I hired Senske and prepaid nearly 500 dollars for weed preventative, aeration, overseeding and fertilizer. This was only for my front yard. I decided to do the back yard maintenance on my own. My front yard is patchy and not nearly as green as my back yard. There are large spots where the seed that Senske used never even grew. I spent a total of 24 dollars on fertilizer and 11 dollars on seed for my back yard.
I would have expected spending 1300% more would have yielded better results. In the front yard you can see where the 135 dollar seeding never even sprouted. Disgusted, frustrated and now I have to fix it myself. Never ever again.

Jimmy came to my house to treat lace bug and I could not be happier. He called the night before and was very helpful and concerned. He did research and brought a book with pictures to help us identify the problem on my plants. He went above and beyond to walk my yard looking at everything. He offered advice that my plants looked a little sick.

This is a thank you and a commendation for Dave's excellent customer service although this doesn't seem to convey how much we appreciate him and your company. Each and every time ( over the many years we've been a customer) he always has a smile ready and wonderful attitude each and every time, never giving us the brush off or making us feel like he does not care.
