Absolutely amazing! Professional, VERY reasonable prices, exceptional work, and punctual. They landscape and haul (with a trailer) from here all the way to Sabinal, Hondo, Pleasanton, and Castroville. Due to medical reasons I was unable to care for my lawn or trees and they became very overgrown and unmanageable. I called for a quote and they responded really quickly and fit me into their schedule.

By the time they were finished I couldn't believe it was even my house! They went above and beyond every expectation I had. They were also 1/3 the price of every other company! I cannot say enough good things about these guys. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for good, honest, extremely hard working people.

Jay and his crew are fantastic! We recently bought a house that had a huge mess of blackberry bushes and weeds along a falling down fence. They came in and cleared it all out and installed a wonderful new fence. Will use them again on future projects.

Zero communication. At least return my call and tell me you are too busy for more work. I don't understand why companies advertise phone numbers and email links if they don't intend on monitoring them.

Don't know about thier work but thier driving skill could use vast improvement cut me off be cause they wanted to skip in line so the zoomed up the turn lane missing my bumper by maybe a foot and a half or so and too top it all off no turn signal rude just rude who ever was driving the black ford super duty on 228th needs to calm down and take drivers Ed because I don't think a simple review will cut it

I could not be happier to recommend Jay and his crew. Jay and his team showed up on time, kept their worksite clean, and were always smiling and in good spirits. We have a 2 yr old daughter and they were happy to interact with her, were careful to watch for her around equipment, and we never heard crude language used around her (or at all come to think of it) which was a nice perk.

We really put these guys through the wringer. We initially hired Jay to remove the existing grass in our back yard (measuring 3000sq ft), regrade and flatten the slope in the yard, and plant all new sod. As the project progressed we ended up do that PLUS a patio extension, planter boxes, garden beds, and beauty bark edging. You would think we stopped there, but oh no.

Then we also asked them to work on the front yard rebuilding our front entry way, adding planter boxes, and resod our front yard. It was an incredible project. There were several bumps as the project progressed, including a several foot wide tree stump thay was buried and needed to be hand dug out for remova. Everything was taken in stride. Pricing was a comfortable, open discussion, as the project escalated, and we absolutely feel like we underpaid for the amount of work these guys did.

We interviewed five landscapers and JM was the ONLY company to suggest reusing materials we had to save money. I appreciated that he had my budget in mind. I feel like the before and after photos have blown away even my own expectations. It was such a joy working with these guys, we were actually sad when they left. Worth noting also that Jay has come back twice, since the project ended, to fertilize and check up on the new grass growth, free of charge.

I called to set up a quote and he asked that I text him. Texted him several times. He got back to me once and never heard from him ever again. Extremely poor customer service.

Good job! I had my front yard sod replaced and whole back yard patio remodeled 2 weeks ago. Jay is very fast to get everything sorted out and get the job done. He also responds very quickly throughout which saved me a lot of time. My wife and I both loved the work!

Jay did a great job completely redesigning our backyard. He was easy to reach, kept us in the loop the whole time, was flexible when we changed some things, and very professional. His crew was awesome, too. They finished in record time, we totally weren't prepared for them to finish so quickly! It was nice. And our new patio looks pretty. They did a good job cleaning up after the work was done, replacing sod and the back gate, and making sure we were satisfied with the results. I would recommend him to anyone.

Jay is very professional and friendly, and gave many useful advice on how the driveway would look after the job was done. I had a plastic storage shed on the original site.

July 2016 - I hired JM Landscaping to level my sloping back yard, install sod and construct 3 retaining walls. My original intent was more modest but Jay came up with design ideas that vastly improved the project. I am delighted with the outcome. Jay was very easy to work with and, unlike several others I had spoken to about the project, he was a great communicator. Jay's crew was also first rate. They were careful around my newly constructed fence and took care with all the details of my 3 retaining walls. Highly recommended!

Jay and his crew are absolute professionals - they're very keen to walk through every step with you to make sure it's exact to your specifications, check in on any concerns, and are very careful with each element of the process. My spouse and I had a gigantic unmanaged yard - that was SUNKEN, with no way to get in machinery. Working with Jay, we figured out a way to remove part of our fence, put in topsoil to make a ramp to get down their Bobcat (which they maneuvered past the few fragile things we had planted in our yard with the kind of skill that professional gamers and precision drivers should envy).

They put in greatly expanded deck and new walkway (totally matching the style of bricks that had been there before), added three massive new planting beds (and Jay pitched in helping me move my older beds to a new safe place!), and turned that topsoil hill into a gentle slope for planting, ringed by beautiful slate boulders. People stop by and comment excitedly on how good everything looks - and we don't even have anything PLANTED yet!

And all this work - precision, care, and special touches - was done in FOUR DAYS. Jay and his crew work carefully but they don't let it push out their due-by date. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend JM. I saw a couple reviews on here with one-star harping that they didn't get back to them, but seriously - JUST CALL AGAIN! Or email! I promise you if they're ever a little hard to get a hold of, it's because they're in-demand for their excellent work.

Be patient, reach out, and Jay will get a hold of you to meet and talk stuff over. And hopefully, you'll end up with something you're excited about and happy with, just like I did. :)

Actually ends up not using their service but they respond quickly, professionally and with good estimate too. The thing is we didn't know them until very late of our shopping around. We have couple of other arrangement already. Otherwise, would be using them. Four star only just because we ends up not really using them. Kind of hesitate to give out five star just base on the estimate but next time if I have yard work, I definitely will try them out.

We called several other companies, but everyone quoted us a much higher price, and a timeframe for the project that was significantly longer then what JM was promising.

We settled on JM - they showed up at the crack of dawn on the first day (and every day after), and got to work. They were extremely respectful of our property and our neighbors, and kept their workspace clean and uncluttered. The crew did outstanding work, and finished the total transformation of our yard in just over a week! We are deeply grateful for their work, and for the way they treated us, our property and our neighbors throughout the project.

They were friendly and attentive, and left us with a stunning, beautiful and useful space that we will enjoy for many years to come. I called JM to get a bid on my landscaping along with a few other companies. JM was by far the most professional, fast, had a great eye for detail and had the best bid. Him and his team installed sod, an irrigation system, gravel and a fence for me.

We hired JM Landscaping to remove a strip of lawn next to our driveway, build a rock retaining wall and pour a concrete aggregate slab (to match our existing driveway). From my first interaction with Jay (the owner), I was impressed by his professionalism. For example, the 1st time we spoke by phone, he had already pulled up our house on Google Maps, so we could have a productive conversation about what we wanted.

When he came out to meet us, had ideas to help us decide the best way to tackle the project. Right when we decided to proceed with the project (Nov) it got super cold outside. I was worried that we might have missed the opportunity, but Jay made sure to communicate his plan and he made it happen. He and his crew worked on a Saturday to do most of the prep work and to build the wall (in 25 degree weather with smiles on their faces), so that they would be ready the following week when the weather warmed up enough to pour the concrete.

We really appreciated his willingness to fit us in (he had a large project going on at the time), and make sure that they were ready to complete the project as soon as the weather permitted. Our driveway went from 2 parking spaces to 3, we have a rock wall that matches another rock wall on our property and our lot is MUCH more usable now (the old strip of lawn was wasted space).

After a bad windstorm, our ~20 year old fence finally decided it had enough and fell over, which forced us to research a few landscaping/fence companies and gather some bids. We were very close to closing a deal with a different competitor, but I decided that it was worth a look into JM Landscaping, due to the positive reviews on Yelp. I wrote JM Landscaping an e-mail and followed up with a call/voicemail requesting an estimate on the fence project.

Much to my surprise, I got a response within 15-20mins and spoke to Javed (Jay) about the project. The company's quick response, Javed's knowledge and a competitive price made the decision quite easy. After closing the deal, Javed and his crew showed up the next day to start the work (AMAZING!). Throughout the entire project, he communicated each phase and ensured I knew exactly what was going on at all times. Javed went through various options, suggested ideas/recommendations and was never once pushy.

The project took about 3 days and exceeded all expectations. The fence looks great, communication couldn't have been better and they made the process painless. Overall, JM Landscaping did a fantastic job and I'll be sure to use them again for future projects and would recommend to anyone.

They did an outstanding job! I had them created a custom patio and retaining wall and installed an French drain. I was having all kinds of problems with my back yard never being able to dry out since I live on a slope.
