Jonathan and his team did a fabulous job renovating my kitchen. The work included some demo, modifying an island, adding cabinets, replacing floor, installing new countertops and appliances, backsplash, lighting, and finishes. He helped me think through how to achieve what I wanted without it costing too much. He was very easy to communicate with and responsive.

He walked me through what I would need to select, where to get it, and when I needed to decide. He did a great job of laying out specific expectations so I was not surprised about what was or was not included. We had some delays getting started, which I fully expected, and he was very communicative about what the delay was, why, and what I could expect next.

Once the work began it went quickly and his team was very professional, wore masks, were very gentle to my home and cleaned up every day. The end product looks phenomenal. It's better than I was expecting and cost less. I will definitely hire Jonathan for my next project!

Complete tear out of 1970's gold tiled bathroom with tub. Installed new tile walk in shower and tile floor and baseboard. The contractor went to the extra effort to research three vendors who could supply the exact shower door I wanted, from which I made my choice. I was really impressed that he would go to this extent to provide exactly what I wanted.

Jonathan with Affordable remodeling is an awesome contractor. He is a type of guy who you would call, email, or text and boy you get a response fairly quickly. He is a great communicator in every aspect of this business. After all the quotes that my husband and I got, they had the best quote and provided top notch service.

Jonathan was prompt, responsive and provided a detailed estimate of the work. He was agreeable to let me do those things I was comfortable with (to save a little money). The project started and finished on time. What I especially appreciated was he communicated well, even sending pictures via email as the work was being done.

Jonathan answered all of my questions and referred me to vendors for the tile and fixtures. Matt was GREAT! and was such a perfectionist! Matt was always on time and took time with me to discuss how I wanted the tile laid and bench built. Matt cleaned up every day and even kept a smile on his face after my cat walked through the wet cement on the shower floor!

These guys did a great job. Very good communicators from estimate to completion. Tile work was flawless and Jonathan and Chris were professional and polite. Never felt upsold or pressured to do costly upgrades or work that wasn't needed (have had that happen with past contractors).

Jonathan managed a very nice job on a small remodel of a bath. I did the demo work myself, and ask Jon to finish up. It wasn't a huge job--we replaced a double vanity, new tile floor, new electrical outlet, and replaced toilets in two bathrooms. Really high quality work and professional and timely execution. Extremely fair price, too. I recommend highly. I wish he moved from Raleigh to Hawaii so I could hire him to work on our house here;-
