Premium Painting Minneapolis is locally owned and operated. After graduating from the University of Minnesota in 2004, friends Caleb Kopp and Jade Erhart started Premium Painting. As students, painting began as a summer job. We acquired valuable experience and quickly climbed ranks by exhibiting ambitious dedication to quality craftsmanship.We took that ambition and experience and applied it to founding our company. Since then, we've established an impeccable track record of pleased customers. Our reputation testifies to our commitment to integrity and devotion to "working as unto the Lord" (Colossians 3:23).

Fine finishing such as staining cabinets, doors, windows, and trim requires knowledge of different types of wood as well as stains and clear coatings. Our experience allows us to make recommendations in order to achieve the look and function you want.
Wallpaper Removal

Interior wallpaper removal by Premium Painting, your Minneapolis House Painter. Stripping wallpaper can be messy and difficult. We'll take the hassle out of the project by first carefully removing the wallpaper. Next, to block remaining glue from seeping through to the paint, we'll wipe down the walls with warm water and a sponge.

Whether painting siding or trim, we use high quality, top end exterior house painting products for a long lasting paint job. The substrate, or surface being painting, usually determines the method of application. In most cases, siding can be sprayed and back brushed. Back brushing is simply brushing the paint into the contours of the substrate after spraying.

The team did an amazing job with our kitchen/dining room wall paint, trim and cabinets. The attention to detail in the prep was next-level (which we very much appreciated since paint was the final step after getting new floors, countertop/sink, backsplash tile). Our cabinets needed serious help after the DIY job of the previous owners (knots of the wood were showing through, major scuffs and paint drips).
Now they look practically brand new! The professional quality of their process really helped us save these cabinets, which would have otherwise been really expensive and a hassle to replace. We love every bit of these spaces now!

Jade and his team were excellent to deal with from day 1. He was incredibly helpful with scoping various projects in my kitchen to match the vision I had for it. We added a lot of last minute additions and details in order to put the finishing touches on and they were able to accommodate it all in a very reasonable timeframe. The quality of the work is phenomenal and I'm very happy with the outcome, and the pricing was reasonable. I will absolutely be using Jade and his team for any additional painting work I have and would strongly recommend them to anyone!

Jade and crew did an excellent job painting kitchen and bathroom cabinetry (which had been cherry stain previously). They completed the work while we were out of town and kept us updated on the progress. The cabinets look beautiful! They tent off the work area to minimize dust, then sand and spray everything that can't be taken off-site (cabinet doors).
It looks like a brand new factory finish! They cleaned up afterwards and left everything in great shape. Their pricing is competitive, and they were able to complete the work on time and to our schedule. I can't recommend them highly enough! We will definitely use them for future painting needs! I couldn't be happier with the work done by Jade and his team. I had my ebony kitchen island enameled white, as well as all the trim (including doors) going down the stairs and on my entire lower level. They also painted the walls of the stairwell, hallway, bathroom, and family room. The amount of prep they did was unbelievable resulted in a quality job - and I have high standards.
The team was prompt each morning and kept the work area very clean. They were professional and quiet - I hardly knew they were in the house. Jade was easy to work with and extremely responsive. He also helped me make a couple decisions that turned out to be fabulous. I highly recommend Premium Painting.

Jade and his team did a FANTASTIC job with our interior walls and kitchen cabinets. We couldn't be happier with the finished product. Caleb was uber responsive when my wife and I were looking at ways to revitalize our dated kitchen. He was very patient and clearly laid out our options. When it came time to actually completing our project, Jade and his crew did an amazing job. Our kitchen cabinets and main floor entry look completely different.
