Craftsman Direct fixed the problem quickly and professionally. I would not hesitate to use them again.

My deck sustained extensive damage when wood rot took its toll. I had Lee come by to replace a few boards. He warned me that it would get worse unless all the boards with rot were replaced. Sure enough, he was right. He came back to replace the boards he predicted would fail on a fast timeframe. He is very easy to communicate with and is willing to communicate via email, which is important to fitting in repairs to my busy work schedule.

He did a great job and even sent me pictures and video to show the completed work. Really appreciate Lee and his business, I will be going to him for all my repairs in the future.

Would never recommend this company. As others have noted communication is pathetic. Have been trying to get a project completed since before thanksgiving. No one ever answers phone, left messages. Email responses that finish date would be discussed with team two different times. Lee responded once apologizing for delay saying email had gone to spam.

A lie since admin had already responded. Project still not done. Promises made for complimentary work due poor service initially never done. Work is decent enough but slow and simple projects take forever. Word to wise dont make any payments until the entire project completed. Once you are down to the smaller details, you are no longer important or a priority.

See they managed to continue working outside after snow from a facebook post but couldnt finish a crown molding project around fireplace that was quoted back in october. Lee talks a big story but provides poor support to his team. Gives a job over to staff who have never done anything like it. I had to make suggestions for how to correct. Run, run now. Lee was knowledgeable and thorough, and did a great job fixing some wood rot on our back door and brick moulding. However, due to poor communication, it was difficult to know when to expect the work to be carried out.

We had these guys come out last weekend and do some work to our house. Lee replaced and painted a bunch of damaged siding we had, he made it look brand new. He also cleared out our gutters that hadn't been cleaned in years. I was very impressed with how knowledgable he was and how quickly he was able to get everything fixed up. He showed up early and worked literally all day long.

He was very honest and transparent about everything. While he was fixing some trim he had to remove an electrical box from our house. The door to our storage room with the circuit breaker was broken, he noticed that and he fixed that for us too! I can't recommend Craftsman Direct enough!

Lee was helpful in fixing a challenging issue with our interior stairway. We had reached out to multiple contractors who couldn't figure out what the problem was, so we really appreciated his willingness to explore the problem and resolve it. Throughout the process, he was courteous and communicative, and he quoted us a very fair price for 1.5 days of labor. We had a very positive experience working with Lee!

I called Craftsman Direct several weeks ago and left a voicemail asking them for a quote on a relatively simple job I needed done at my home. A week and a half later, I hadn't heard a word, so I called again and left another voicemail with my phone number. Here I am more than 3 weeks after the first call, 2 weeks after the second call, and I have heard nothing from these people.

Not a word. Perhaps they just aren't interested in my business. I will be looking elsewhere for this job I need done and any future work as well. I recommend you do the same.

We had some work done in our old house that ended up being very challenging. Kevin did a fantastic job despite the difficulty and we are extremely pleased with the results. Highly recommend.

Craftsman Direct rebuilt my deck. The project took a bit longer than anticipated because the crew replaced some rotten wood under the door and added flashing to prevent future water damage. The deck is quite sturdy - I'm very happy with it.

This is the worst company, Bobby built a porch with a roof that leaked. I tried for over a year to get Bobby to fix it, when it became obvious he wouldn't or couldn't (as he stopped returning my calls), I contacted the company owner Lee Smoak. Lee jerked me around for a few more months before admitting the roof was built wrong. He looked me in the eye and said "I will make this right" and he hasn't.

He agreed to pay for a roofing company to come fix it and he would pay the bill. Baker Roofing came and did a great job fixing Craftsman Direct's mess. I received the bill and send it to Lee. He did not pay. I received a late notice and asked Lee about it. He said it was on "oversight" he paid part of the bill. As of 7-21-16 now more than two years after the original work was done, I am having to pay the balance of a bill to another company to fix the mess left by this company

This company installed a back door for us in January 2015. They neglected to seal the door or install a drip cap. Within 7 months the wood floor was warped. We had 3 different contractors come out to look at the problem. All three concluded that the door was the problem. We fought with Lee for months to get him to fix the damage the door had caused.

If he had fixed it right away the floor would have probably gone back down on it's own. Instead they fought us and argued. We finally had to get a lawyer involved. At that point Lee agreed to pay for the damages. Unfortunately he didn't tell me it would be in installments. It's been a year since we first found the damage and we just got our final check.

It also isn't enough to cover all the damages. Because of the rain we got this fall part of the subfloor was damaged and had to be replaced. It was more than the original estimate which is all they say they will pay for. We are out $500 plus the cost of the lawyer. Additionally there is now mold on the door because they missed several spots when painting.

If you don't want to get ripped off and damage your house I would avoid this company at all costs. He claims to be a Christian but the Jesus I follow said to treat people better than they treated us.

Craftsman Direct provided those last minute home inspection repairs prior to sale. They replaced a few pieces of rotted wood, the majority of which was very difficult and dirty to get to; very efficiently. I strongly recommend to Realtors or those about to sell. Lee and his associate immediately found time to evaluate my project. Within a day or so we had everything moving forward, with part of the project already nearly complete. Battling cold, rainy, icy, weather the remainder of the repairs met our timeline, and Lee kept me informed all along the way. The prices were good, and the work was hard. But Craftsman Direct came through. Thank you CD!

This is the second time I've used Craftsman Direct for handyman work. I had my deck sanded and stained, exterior power washed, and front porch cement re-painted (plus huge crack removed). After working with these guys a second time, I can confidently say they do not cut corners.

My husband and I hired Craftsman Direct after doing a basic internet search for local handymen. We needed some work done on a list of things throughout the house and were hoping to have them all completed in one fell swoop. We ended up talking and working with about 3 different craftsman as time went on, and all of them seemed to have intimate knowledge of all our issues (structural, tiling, & electrical).

They knocked out the work quickly, but after completion of the tiling portion of our contract--which was regrouting the floor of a tiled shower--we were not really impressed with the finished product. We phoned Craftsmen Direct back and spoke with Laura (who is the most pleasant and knowledgeable office manager I've ever met), and she put me straight through to the President of the company, Lee Smoak. Lee and I discussed our concerns and he came out himself the following day to take a look at the shower.

We both agreed the work was not done as it was contracted to be, and Lee personally returned the following week and repaired it himself. Now that's what I call customer service! Even though it took a little extra time to complete all of our repairs, we were so pleased with the outcome of working with this company. The craftsmen, as well as the President of this company, are all very professional, personable and most importantly, committed to making the customer happy; and really, how common is that in this day and age?

I had to have my house repainted and some other little odds and ends that needed to be done before we could close on the sale of my house. I contacted Lee and his crew. They came out and the service was impeccable!

I couldn't be happier! There was no nonsence about the quote (other companies were very vague in their quotes). I was expecting there to be water damage that would need extensive repairs - and they could have just told me that - but these guys were honest, professional workers.

We were hesitant to hire Lee since his quote was much lower than his competitor's and we just fired another contractor who bid low at the beginning and ended up charging more for low quality jobs. Yet we decided to give Lee a try.
