At Gowdy Flooring, we are proud to call Amarillo home. Being locally owned and operated since 1997 gives us a stronghold in and strong attachment to Amarillo, Texas and the Texas Panhandle. Gowdy Flooring was founded by Gale Gowdy and was originally located in the Western Business Park in Amarillo.As business increased, we relocated to our current showroom in the Copper Ridge Shopping Center in 2000. In January 2011, Gale Gowdy retired and sold his business to D'Ray Peeples. We are excited to announce that Gowdy Flooring is moving to a new, larger location in Southwest Amarillo to better serve you.

We had them install our carpet and were so happy with the product and the job, that when we needed new wood flooring we went back to Gowdy. Haven't had the flooring installed yet, but the service has been excellent so far. We're expecting the same professional install and quality product we received as last time. I'll let you know how it goes.

Great selection and prices. They stayed late so my wife and I could pick out colors for our carpet. That was very nice and not skmeothey needed to do. The sales people are honest and don't steer you towards a particular and expensive carpet but just tell you all about what you're looking at. They discuss your budget and what they have in that range.

We recently had Gowdy install a ceramic wood floor in our home. From the selection of this tile to the installation, Gowdy could not have been more helpful and professional. The men who installed the tile took extra time to level and prepare our floors, removing layers of old flooring and concrete before they put the new ceramic wood down. We were so impressed by the final results. Excellent work.and we love our new floor!
