One of the most popular types of window for homes all over the country is the casement window. Casement windows are hinged on the left or right side and open outward at an angle. They're often chosen for not only their sleek look, but because the angled opening allows for directed breezes in your home.

My husband and I made an appointment to get a quote for new windows for our house. It was scheduled at a time that would work for me during the day. The next day Sandia Sunrooms and Windows called back and made us change the time, because it had to be at a time my husband was also home. This meant we had to do the assessment in the evening with all our kids home, which would disrupt their dinner and bedtime routines.
This was not only annoying, but felt very patronizing to me. Why should it matter if my husband is present or not. As a stay at home mom I have the time to deal with contractors and house maintenance workers, where my husband who works full time does not. I've personally dealt with finding quotes and installation for a new furnace, water heater and roof without needing my husband present.
What made dealing with this company even worse was that after insisting my husband be at the assessment and changing times on us they never even showed up. When we called to see if they were still coming they said they had our appointment in their system, but had never told their sales agents about it and so no one would be coming. To me this is not a good sign that this is a reliable and courteous company to work with. We did not reschedule to meet with them.

Attempted to use this company to install a concrete patio and Pergola. Representative showed up at my home, however never gave me and my wife a formal quote. After several text messages and three calls later from other representatives from Sandia Sunrooms and Windows --- to date still have not received a quote. Not sure if I'd go forward with this organization.

Stucco was broken when Sandia Sunrooms installed my awning last December. I was told someone would come out in the spring when the weather was warmer to repair the stucco. I agreed. I noted on the finalization paperwork that the stucco had been damaged so there was a record of the problem. Spring came and no one called me. I called Sandia sunrooms in May and explained the issue.
They stated that this is the first they had heard about it. I referred back to my finalization paperwork and asked them to read the remarks that I had written there. They indicated they would have a stucco person come out. I had to make a couple of calls to remind them, and they finally sent a crew out. The crew came out and patched the damage but said they could not match the stucco.
I asked about the cost to re-stucco the back wall and I was quoted $1000. I called Sandia sunrooms and said that I would be willing to pay half if they would pay the other half so that my stucco would all look uniform. They declined and proceeded to tell me that I was trying to shake them down! As of today 6/7/2021 I have a gray patch where they fixed the hole. My house is tan. The jury is still out as to the efficacy of this organization.

We purchased patio covers from Sandia Sunrooms in August and they were installed in early December. Everyone we worked with was very knowledgeable and professional. One suggestion is that although we understand how the covid virus delayed installation, more frequent communications would have been appreciated. However, we are very satisfied with the design, quality and installation. It was well worth the wait.

We live 150 miles from Albuquerque. Our experience with Sandia Sunrooms has been excellent from beginning to end. Brett, our salesman, was very helpful in explaining everything to us and he worked very hard to stay within our budget. Clay, the installation manager, actually came out to our location to ensure our pergola would work as designed prior to installation.
Our installers, Reuben and Chris, couldn't be any nicer or more professional. Their attention to detail resulted in a beautiful addition to our home and we couldn't be more pleased. We highly recommend Sandia Sunrooms.

After moving into a used house we discovered that the back sliding door was in poor shape. It didn't seal and was hard to slide. When a good tax return left us with some disposable funds to work with we contacted Sandia Sunrooms to replace the bad door with a swinging door. Sandia deals in Marvin doors, and they had an excellent single-swing French door unit that could replace our slider.
The sales person was helpful and thorough. The installer was professional and efficient. The subcontractor that cleaned up the stucco was skilled. Overall we just could not see a way to improve the job.

We recently got a sunroom put on our balcony and upgraded all our windows from Sandia. Our salesmen Matt Corbo was extremely helpful, I can not say enough good things about him and the entire team. Our installers were professional and courteous. Everything turned out better than we expected! Thank you Sandia Sunrooms!
