I've been using Tuff Lawn for 7 or 8 years. They been very helpful in pointing out the need to control for fungus and for cinch bugs, and also to maintain the proper Ph levels, which is very important in our area. They are always very professional and responsive. If ever I've had a question or issue, they respond very promptly. And they know what they're talking about. Highly recommended.

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE from "Richie Henderson" and his nasty father. These guys are dishonest and unethical. They overquoted my lawn saying it was 54,500 sq. ft when BOTH True Green andTeed & Brown quoted me 38,000sq ft. And when I called to complain I got "Richie Henderson's" father online who was even ruder and nastier to me. And I had JUST had a survey done by RKW surveying and overlayed a satellite image on it to prove I only have 38,000 sq. ft. Stick with Teed & Brown or Tuff Lawn. I can't imagine having to deal with these truly unpleasant and UNETHICAL people all year.

I've worked with both father and son for over a decade: three years ago I removed 15 trees and hired a landscaping architect to improve the value of my home on Tuff lawn advise. My property looks magnificent with the lawn being the star! I live next to a landscaper and for the first time in 23 years, my lawn rivals his!

Extremely happy with the results of my lawn! I have been using TuffLawn for the past 7 years and I can't say enough good things about them. The owner and his workers are very knowledgeable and professional. They transformed my initially over grown, weed infested lawn into a beautiful lush, green yard. Similar negative experience as others that have already posted. Re: Tuff Lawn's response. You should keep as detailed notes and pictures of your lawn results. When I asked John (the owner) if he thought the lawn looked better, he said how would I know?!? My one star rating will remain. And yes, as I pointed out, LOTS of companies offer lawn services.

The Norwalk, CT Tuff Lawn franchise owner performed and charged for unauthorized services to attempt to fix his oversight and mistaken analysis of my lawn problems. I am cornered as I must pay $1500 or my credit rating drops. Small claims court would only satisfy my sense of justice. I will never use this franchise owner's business again.

I called this company to ask for a quote, and they informed me they do not give them over the phone, which is fine. However I tried to ask for the name of the receptionist I spoke with, and she rudely hung up on me. I'll never use this service or refer them to anyone else cause that is awful customer service.

I have used Tuff Lawn for several years. The lawn care has been very good. No complaints there. However, after reporting damage to my irrigation system due to aeration performed by the company, the response from the owner was accusatory and downright nasty. Don't expect a friendly resolution to a dispute, and do not expect to be treated like a valued customer.

We hire these guys to do the tick control, which they operate under Fairfield County Tick Control. Haven't had any problems with ticks but wanted to say that Ricky and Brian not only helped me put away a big bouncy house (after labor day weekend), they had also found a bunch of little kids toys and an errant shoe and left them on the lawn chairs. It must have been a hassle to pick these up over and over and I am very grateful they didnt just spray all over and leave the toys where they may be. Very sweet.

We are extremely pleased with the lawn care service provided by Tuff Lawn. We can always reach John if we have any questions. It is only a few months and the quality of our lawn has improved tremendously. Our lawn looks healthier and better. I am sure that my next year we will have a really beautiful lawn.

This is the worst customer service ever. I signed up for every service for the spring and summer and still no one came out to do anything. They scheduled my first tick application on a day there was a hail storm and when I called to reschedule and still no tick application. I called the owner and he actually yelled at me and told me he was under a lot of pressure. Not my problem. Never again.

I wrote about a week ago regarding a complaint i had and upset even after writing the owner that I was being ignored. However, I received a call from him explaining that I sent the letter to a former address. He now not only apologized for the problem but has since corrected it. As far as I am now concerned they are #1 on my list for good landscaping companies. E. Laflamme
