KLEBS Mechanical was founded nearly 30 years ago (1986) in Gary Klebs' personal residence. The economy was in a slump and construction companies were downsizing or closing their doors. Gary was a key employee at another mechanical company. The company was struggling and Gary decided to leave. He started his own company during this time and flourished while other companies were closing their doors.In a turbulent environment, Gary's leadership and expertise sustained and grew the company from a one-man sheet metal shop to a premier full service mechanical company with over 80 employees. KLEBS specializes in fabricating and installation of commercial and residential heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems.

I've had KLEBS over twice now to do work and both times they encountered unexpected problems. I was sweating that my bill was going to explode as they were trouble-shooting for a long time. Both times, they were able to fix what was wrong and honorably charged me what they had originally quoted. Nothing is cheap in Alaska and great customer service is hard to find.

Our family was out of state and had a house sitter watching our place. She called over the weekend and said the house was about 50 degrees (in February). We called KLEBS immediately because 2 years ago the same thing happened and they were immediate in response. Within one hour they came to the house, checked everything out, and got the heat back on that afternoon.
