JR Carpentry & Tile

I have had several contractors perform services in my home. All I which were very late, non-communicable, very poor craftsmanship. However, JR Carpentry & Tile was exactly the opposite. Josh delivered exactly what he promised and then some. He was very prompt, courteous and overly communicative. The quality of the craftsmanship far exceeded my expectations.

My new bathroom looks like a picture out of Better Homes and Garden. My wife and I are very much pleased with the final results. I would highly recommend his services to anyone.

The work was done well, and things started off pleasant enough, some delays but that seems to go with the territory and a lot was out of their control. Then we had to get out of our house for them to finish the repair. Then they didn't clean up after they finished the job. Then, when we notified Josh about it, he doubted us about the lack of cleanup and offered no apology. We wouldn't recommend.

Had them out to do a porch on the front of my house. Provided the best proposal and detail compared to any other contractors I reached out to. Knew what I was getting day one and delivered on commitments in a very timely manner, working long days in horrible heat. Couldn't be happier with the project start to finish. Very professional, clean and organized. Will be my first call for any future projects.

We had the pleasure of working with JR this past fall on the kitchen of our dreams! Our old kitchen was dated, dark and had no storage and JR helped us design a beautiful, clean, updated kitchen with new cabinets, backsplash, counters and flooring that functions better than ever before. JR paid attention to every small detail, answered all our questions and helped us make the best functional and design decisions moving forward.

All of JR's work is beautiful and professionally executed. Our timeline was very condensed, and JR went above and beyond to help us stick to schedule and complete everything right before the holiday. We are so happy we found JR and we cannot wait to work with him again on a future project.

I contacted Josh after seeing his sign on my neighbor's yard. He made arrangements to meet with me to discuss the work that I wanted done. He was on time for the meeting, discussed the work to be done (explaining some quirks of my house that he was familiar with from other jobs in my neighborhood), and left promising me a proposal. The proposal came a few days later, I asked for some elaboration, which he promptly provided.

We set up a date for him to start work, as it turned out he had to delay the start a bit (but he gave me plenty of warning.). We were away when the work was underway (we preferred to not be there during the de-construction/construction). He kept me appraised of his progress on a regular basis, including photos. He completed the work in the 2 weeks as promised and we are very happy with the completed project. Josh was very upfront about costs, timeframe, potential problems (and we ran into a few), and was flexible and willing to go the extra mile (he actually discovered that one of our toilets was leaking and fixed it while he was here (not part of the original job). I would recommend him for pretty much any home renovation you are considering.

Joshua Robinson of JR Carpentry & Tile was amazing to work with. We replaced 4 columns on our front porch and Joshua was super helpful in helping us figure out the material that would be best, the size and the shape. He went as far as to give us multiple written estimates for different materials. He was patient, accommodating and insightful. Not to mention, his work was detailed and done to perfection.
