They have multiple disciplines in the HVAC field, from residential repair/maintenance, retrofit to new construction and Government work. We service all of Southern California from Northern Los Angeles to the Mexican Border and as far east as Palm Springs.

The company is owned by Mont and Scott Flora, brothers who were raised in the HVAC field since their youth. It is a family business, run on family values, many employees and key employees have worked for the Flora family for over 20 years. Our AC stopped working 6 months after we moved into our home (new build). Our compressor went out and the replacement was covered under warranty. We went through the home builders service portal and they contracted the work to True Air Mechanical. Hank was our service tech and he went above and beyond to help us out. I was worried that it would take months to get a replacement due to all the supply chain issues.

I called True Air's office to ask about lead times and the receptionist told me the compressor was back ordered, but he did see a note that our service request was expedited (thank you, Hank!). The following week we received a call to schedule the replacement compressor. I am super grateful we got our compressor installed just in time for summer. Hank's level of service and attentiveness to customers is amazing.

He noticed our AC was louder than normal and at the end of his visit said, "I made an adjustment because if I was the homeowner, that would bother me". He adjusted the airflow so the fans wouldn't blow so loudly/aggressively. I work in construction/service and am impressed that Hank put himself in the customers shoes to offer the best level of service. I wish all service techs provided this kind of thoughtful and proactive service. If you call True Air, Hank is the man. You won't regret it!

Driver cut me off and almost ran me off the road today going dow the 10west freeway.if their team is this wild driving unsafe.please do not let them in your home, I couldn't imagine them outside of their van. Read the reviews I'm not the only one to say this. I also called and did t get a call back of course. Do not support this business!

Critical: Professionalism Driver is horrible. He was weaving in and out of traffic and came right up behind me while going 75 passing a semi and tail gated me to the point I thought he might hit me. Absolutely ridiculous!

Fuck this company they not reliable and very rude to their employees also my partner has had a bad such experience working for them im tired of my partner having such a hard time working for them being stressed all the time its messing with his personal life fuck this company and Ronnie and some one nick named "thunder thighs" dont work for this company or do business with them

As a former employee of True Air I see some of these negative comments, and most of you are 100% right! The hire ups at that company don't care one bit! We recently had gas allowance CUTS, during these times, with these prices? How did everything go up in price, but yet we got our gas allowance cut by $250 a month! And when we go to the General Super Jr to voice our concerns, we get told to go to another company.

So let me get this strait so instead of taking care of their employees they tell us to leave and go to another company if we don't like it, we are literally breaking our bodies day in and day out, driving all over hauling THEIR equipment and can't even be compensated properly for it. This company is complete bullshit due to Jrs (general super) views on how installers are compensated.

You want to cut back from us cool, we'll cut back from you True Air! And to all the amazing customers out there, please use another company. Aliso Air, 20/20, Absolute Airflow, Veteran Air. Trust me you will be MUCH happier going with any of those other 4 companies.

If I give a negative 10 I will. Dont hire or use them. Just pure headache. Will not help you or back up with their installation and warranty. Jeff is Rude and no customer service at all!

Had the exact same experience today as the other reviewer "Tee H." Our system failed after 2 years, the customer service department is incompetent. We scheduled for a appointment window and agreed to the $89 diagnostics fee. It's now 11 am and no one has showed or called. I called the company to see if they were on their way and they have no record of us making an appointment.

They said that I'm not on schedule. We received multiple calls to confirm but on the day they were supposed to show there is nothing. Wonderful. Pretty sure this company makes money off of ripping people off and contracting with homebuilders to put their sticker on the AC units. Should've checked them out online before even trying to do business with them.

The owners of this company should listen to some feedback because these types of problems aren't that difficult to fix and they could be making a lot more money if they simply showed up. I was totally willing to pay the fee, not debating on their prices but come on, they really don't make it easy to give them money.

Already starting off with the wrong foot with this company. My builder contracted with this company for warranty work. I've had to submit work orders on my end and also have to go out of my way to try to get a hold of their customer service reps. It's hard to get ahold of them even during business hours. I finally got an appointment set up and one of their reps called me 2 days prior to the appointment day, asking if I would like to push the appointment date even closer which I agreed since I wanted to get my ventilation problem resolved asap.

They gave me a time frame when they would show up and that was the end of it. On the appointment day, the rep left me a voice mail that the tech showed up at 9am, 2 hours before the 11-2pm appointment window. I was not home so I had to call several times and left voicemails. I finally got a hold of the rep and explained to them what happened and how they didn't show up at the rescheduled time and now it's pushed back to another week.

So far, not impressed with this company. No apologies, just stayed silent after I told them. I had to ask them to give me a new date since they didn't follow through with the time they offered. Will update review once the problem will be addressed and hopefully fixed.

The absolute worse customer service! We have been in our new build for 2 months and our unit is already giving us issues. I have called and called and NO ANSWER. I have left a message and no call back. Wish I could switch the warranty. This is upsetting!

This company should be boycotted, they don't deserve to be in business. Their customer service is a joke. I called and left multiple messages and no return back. I auto-dial their 1-888-767-7757 multiple times and no response. I would not want to do business with them if I had a choice. Unfortunately, the builder that built our home, made a warranty agreement with them so now we are stuck getting the run-around. I'm trying to schedule to have our AC unit move so we can get our backyard landscape done. Filing a report to the better business bureau in hope that other consumer/customer doesn't have to suffer as I did.

This company is a joke. The system doesn't work after just 1 year. The customer service department is incompetent. The morning of I called to confirm my appointment. They said that my appointment window is from 7 am - 11 am. NO one shows up. Called them again. They said that I'm not on schedule. WTH, I had a courtesy 30 min call before the technician's arrival. Now, I'm not on the schedule?

I don't know why a big-time builder like Toll Brothers would work with this horrible and unprofessional company. Don't think about doing business with them. System fails after a year. Unreliable!

WOW. awful customer service! They installed the Heating and AC unit in our brand new construction home. The heater does not work and it is less than a year old. We are in the middle of winter and inside the home is 64 degrees. We have left messages on the service line daily for over a week and not a return call or response STILL! We even had the builder/ construction manager with Toll call them and he spoke to a manager who assured us it was going to be handled asap.

Still no call to us or return call to him now and its been 5 days. I have small kids and had to go hire another service to repair rather than the warranty company that should be fixing their mistakes in product they warrant but refuse to respond. BEWARE. DO NOT USE!

I have never dealt with a service company - not just an HVAC company, but any service company - that has been so unreliable and so disrespectful of me and my time. I am renting a 1 year old townhome where they are the contracted HAVC service company. The A/C has had issues since I moved in at the end of October. They had an appointment to come and look at the issue - which they missed.

I rescheduled and they missed the next appointment. I rescheduled again, the tech showed up 20 minutes before the end of the time frame, did a half-assed measurement and left in less than 15 minutes telling me I would get a call the next day. It took 2 weeks to get the call and they told me I would have to pay for the repair - even though it is under warranty.

I spoke with the property manager and he arranged for them to come out and do the repair. They called me early last week telling me that they could come out today and I'd be the first appointment. I called yesterday and confirmed the appointment, was told I was first on the list for the 7-11 service call, and with the drive the tech would be here by 8am.

As expected he did not show on time and when I called I was told I was second in the queue, that the tech was late to his first appointment and wouldn't be here till a couple of hours AFTER todays time slot. The appointment was pushed back another week with a promise of the first stop - which I don't have any faith in. If the quality of their actual work is at the same level as there customer service, I don't expect the service to be done correctly. To be continued.

Run, don't walk, away from this company. They are unreliable, unresponsive, and unethical. I purchased a brand new home in April, True Air had been contracted by the builder to install the HVAC system. I knew prior to moving in that I wanted to remove one of the mini split units on my first floor. The builder's coordinated discussions with True Air regarding my request, and it was determined that as long as True Air did the removal work, my warranty would be intact.

After agreeing on a price and time frame, (early May 2021), True Air did a complete turnaround and told me that they would not have technicians available to do the job until after the summer (a job that they had quoted as taking 4 hours). I patiently waited 3 months, and contacted them again last week to get the work scheduled. Their response was to renege on their original agreement and are now saying that they will not do the work at all, as it is a liability to them, which is not true. They simply cannot be bothered by a "small" job. Even one that was quoted at $1,200. for 4 hours of work. Which I was willing to pay. Avoid this company!

New construction home purchased through Richmond American. True Air Mechanical installed the Goodman HVAC in 2014. The Goodman manufacturer parts warranty should be 10 years. However, True Air Mechanical did not register the unit with Goodman and the parts warranty is now only 5 years. I called and spoke to Adrianna who handles the warranties at True Air Mechanical. She told me that is the home owners problem. Really? Do not do business with these people. They are a terrible company.

Someone needs to make sure the drivers are going to school to make sure they know how to drive properly. One just almost took my front and out trying to get over because he waited last minute. Sure will never use this company. Interesting there's other bad driver comments as well. Seems like the company doesn't care

This place is awful. They are very disorganized. I can never get a hold of anyone. The mechanics don't have a clue what they are doing. They show up unprepared and they are unreliable. I do not recommend working with them.

The worst I've ever dealt with and a rip off big time. Unprofessional, got attitude and charged me $264 for a transformer that costs $14. $89 just to come in and $175 for a Honeywell transformer that I later on found out it costs $14 at ACE'S HARDWARE STORE and was installed in less than 3 min. They didn't leave me a receipt of payment nor a warranty for the transformer.

I called their service department they didn't pick up neither returned my call. I would NEVER recommend them what so ever! The worst EVER! Call any other A/C or heater service in town. Don't waste your time or money with them cause they are simply unprofessional and rip off!

I am very happy with the service that was provided to me by Cecilia and Jose. My heater stopped working and was told it could take up to 3 weeks to order a new part. After calling the mainline I spoke with Cecilia and told her about my situation and she made sure to have a technician available the next day. When Jose came today he was punctual, polite, courteous, and efficient. Words cannot describe how happy I a, with the level of service that was provided by him

This is definitely a company to avoid. The tech came out to fix a water leak above my furnace and wanted to repair it with a glue patch on the outside of the pipe. I told him to repair the leak properly the pipe would have to be replaced. He agreed and temporally patched the pipe and agreed to come back out after he ordered the new pipes. I called back for an update and was told the drive informed them that the leak is fixed. This company takes shortcuts, does poor work and doesn't follow through.

Jose was a life saver! Had the part our AC unit needed that two other companies said they had to have made. We were facing a three week wait time in the middle of a heatwave. Jose had our AC back up and running in less than an hour. So thankful for his knowledge and preparedness. And he came wearing a mask and kept it on!

This company was horrible to deal with. I've had my air conditioning unit for a little over year and already had to have it replaced. The problem did not fall under warrenty and when the technician came out to run a diagnostic he could not communicate the problem to me properly due to the fact that he could not speak fluent English. When explaining the issue he then told me that the company would order the part and get back to me to set up an appointment to come fix the problem.

A week later and after 3 unanswered phone calls I finally called another company to come fix the problem. After 3 weeks I still hadn't heard anything back from True Air until their payments department called to collect payment. This company is a joke and if you want a product that will last with professional customer service I would suggest another company. DO NOT waste your time.

I wrote a review of True Air previously that was perhaps too detailed to post (you might be able to access it via my name). This is the abbreviated version. When I decided to install AC for the first time, I interviewed three companies, and I am incredibly happy that I chose True Air. Glen Nichols and his installers, Matt and Brian, completely surpassed my expectations in every area.

This company has been out TWICE and our heater still is going out. They insinuate that it's user error working the thermostat. They did absolutely NO testing. Here we are with a baby and young daughter in a BRAND NEW home and the heating system isn't working properly. I had a consult from someone else who diagnosed the problem ASAP. TruAlr wants us to freeze for a week.

This has been an ongoing issue since JANUARY! Shame on you TruAir! Worst service around! You're supposed to care for your Veterans and be helping the Homes for Families project and you are doing NOTHING!

Glen came over and gave me a quote on a new furnace and coil. His price was very competitive with other companies, yet he was installing better appliances. The furnace was installed just a few days later. The techs were very friendly and productive. The price was as promised and they did excellent work.

For several months my electricity bill surged nearly 3 times the norm. I couldn't figure it out so I gave in and called True Air. Pete G. systematically figured out the problem and he took the time to make sure there weren't any other problems. He kept me informed the entire time. Pete is seriously the best technician - he is polite, very respectful, honest and thorough.
